Chapter Thirty-two Hagrid: Four, Two, Two Kings

The next morning, William got up early to tidy up his instrument, put on formal clothes, and completely drove out the fatigue that had been staying at home and self-study, preparing to visit Hogwarts.

He had asked carefully in the letter before that most wizards visited Hogwarts by first going to Hogsmeade village next to Hogwarts through Phantom Movement, Flood fans, etc., and then transfer to Hogwarts. Only students and some professors would take the 9 and 3/4 train to the school directly.

Since William had never been to Hogsmeade Village, and he was unwilling to move to such a far place with the phantom he had just mastered, he simply chose Floom Fan.

"Old Tom, are you Floy fans here?"

William asked, holding a small basin next to the fireplace, towards the old Tom who was busy wiping his wine glass by the bar.

"Of course, go out?"

"Well, go to Hogwarts to handle things."

"Do you have to prepare lunch?"

"I think Hogwarts should have a canteen - how was the food in the canteen when you were at school?"

"It's pretty good, but it's been a long time since I went to Hogwarts, and the principal has been changed several times."

While Old Tom was speaking, William lit a magic flame in the stove.

"Well, I hope Hogwarts' kitchen hasn't been burned and tastes as good as before."

William shrugged, but Old Tom didn't know that the words made him laugh, and he couldn't help laughing, and it took him a while to stop.

"Then I wish you a happy journey."

"I think so too, this is the first time I've been to Hogwarts-"

William sprinkled a handful of Flood powder into the flames, shouted at Hogsmeade Village, and then took a big step towards the flames.

The strange oppression came from all around. William felt that he was spinning wildly - it was better to spend more money to ride the Knights bus at that time. The moment his head appeared, the rotation speed increased. The green flame in front of him was spinning rapidly with him. The outermost end of the flame vortex, countless fireplaces appeared in front of him.

Before William couldn't help but vomited it out, the spin finally stopped. He was directly bounced into the fireplace that finally stopped, and then he fell to the ground quickly.

He quickly crossed his arms in front of his face as fast as possible, protecting himself in the last journey.

After getting up quickly, he took out his magic wand and confirmed the surrounding environment, William began to use his magic wand to deal with the dust on his body.

‘Before popping out, you should be able to adjust your position so that you won’t fall as soon as you come out.’

William looked back at the journey outside the fireplace—but soon he denied what he had just thought.

The comfort level of Flu Fan travel is far worse than that of Phantom Movement. If Phantom Movement hadn't been able to go to a place he had never been to, he would rather not have torture artifact like Flu Fan for the rest of his life.

As soon as he walked out of the fireplace, he felt that he should not have gone in the wrong position.

Although I have never been to this village called Hogsmeade, there are probably only one of them where so many shops can be opened in one village.

Just around the public fireplace where William walked out, there were four or five places with various signs hanging on them. I don’t know if it was because of the students’ shopping needs that caused the villagers to open these shops, or because of the students’ strong purchasing power, the shops that opened one after another formed a village.

Before William could take a closer look at the scenery of Hogsmeade Village, a figure who was one body taller than an ordinary person waved his hand to this side.

"Is it Professor William?"

"It's me, thank you for picking me up, Hagrid."

William had been there for a long time and told about his itinerary. Hogwarts naturally would not let a professor who had never been to Hogwarts find the school gate himself - what if the new professor is a roadblock?

Especially the course of wizard self-defense magic is lingering. If a professor breaks the record this year and is forced to leave his post without coming to school, he will probably not be able to recruit professors in Azka class next year.

"It's okay for me. I was about to come here to collect the rent, so I took over the task with Professor McGonagall." Haeger looked at William with a smile and said something that shocked William.

“Calculate the rent?”

"Yes, the entire land of Hogsmeade village belongs to Hogwarts. From the day the castle was established, this area was the school's property (Note 1). Dumbledore trusted me, so the job was handed over to me."

A village as a private property - William took a breath of air conditioning.

However, thinking that this school does not charge tuition fees, William was calm. The rent in the village was enough to make it easier for the entire school to operate. It is estimated that the Ministry of Magic will have to allocate a lot of funds every year to the school (Note 2).

Perhaps because there were no outsiders around him, the new professor William was naturally considered his own person by Hagrid. Hagrid, who could hold back his words in the bar, became extremely capable of speaking at this moment.

"Since I served Hogwarts, I have been collecting the rent here. After so many years, I have never had a loophole."

“This is a great virtue.”

William exclaimed from the bottom of his heart.

Judging from Hager's clothes, he knew that Hager was not very affordable, and it was really rare to be responsible for collecting rents for so many years.

Especially when William came, he was in a place like Azkaban where there were crowds of scumbags. This virtue could be seen as a saint there.

Perhaps because William's attitude was too sincere, Hager couldn't help but smile happily, so he simply threw a king and bombed it.

"What's this money? Dumbledore trusts me and will leave me with important things. For example, last year, I helped Dumbledore bring a Philosopher's Stone from the Gringott to Hogwarts."

Note 1: There may be a debate, because in Part 6, there is a statement about the twin brothers trying to buy a store - but I think it should be a sublet store. After all, it is a hot shop on the Hogwarts campus. The twins have been in less than a year in store, so it is almost impossible to buy a store.

The village was built at the same time as the school, and the subsequent construction of secret passages also proved in disguise that it should be the school industry.

Note 2: There is no tuition fee for the entire Hogwarts, and William himself does not know that the school board exists.

But Hogwarts spends a lot of money on daily basis, the cost of repairing the castle, the depreciation and loss of teaching aids and seats, the maintenance costs of various antiques in the castle, including armor, the food of students and the full set of bedding obtained by freshmen, the salary of professors, additional teaching facilities such as herbal greenhouses, and the purchase and feeding costs of cherishing animals and plants.

It is estimated that the school board is the one who has gained the right to speak for the school by providing funds. Considering the Ministry of Magic’s control over the school, it is estimated that the Ministry of Magic also bears a large part of the funds.
