Chapter 23 Arriving at Hogwarts

With food, Fuleger's attention was completely diverted, and he was so happy to taste these foods that were not available in the Muggle world.

The fields that were speeding past the car window seemed even more deserted, and a neat farmland had disappeared. What followed was a forest, winding rivers and dark green hills.

It was not until the sky was completely dimming that Ron and Fulleg stopped talking about the topic - on who is better and worse than Quidditch or football! In this regard, Harry is definitely a good listener, as long as you ignore his hands that are constantly fiddling with the chocolate frog card.

"Come on your robe quickly. I asked the experienced seniors and it's almost here." Allen pushed open the door of the carriage and urged several people who had hit it off at first sight.

I really couldn't stand the power of the two chatterers gathering together, and my curiosity about the train, Allen went out for a walk. During this period, he met Hermione who was helping Neville find the toad and Malfoy who wanted to find Harry. The former, Allen used the system map to point out the direction for Hermione. The latter, Allen avoided it directly. He had not been a teacher for many years and did not want to have too many interactions with the arrogant Malfoy.

"Allen, you're back! I'm so sorry that you were not here just now, we fought with Malfoy. If you were there, we would definitely be able to beat them up." Ron complained.

Harry and Fulleg, who knew Alan's strength, nodded and agreed. Alan's strength was praised by even the physical education teacher.

Allen disagrees with this. If Malfoy really messes with him, he doesn't mind teaching the ignorant teenager a lesson.

Several people quickly took off their coats and put on black robes. Of course, Allen was the same. He was not so stupid that he had exposed his trump card. Ron's robe was a little shorter, and his sneakers were revealed below. Allen thought Ron's robe was pretty good and convenient for movement.

"The train is about to arrive in Hogwarts in five minutes. Please leave your luggage in the train and we will take you to school for you." The sound echoed on the train.

"We're coming, Alan, the magic world, I-I'm a little nervous." Fuleg said dryly, completely losing his spirit of dancing and full of energy when discussing food.

He was not the only one who was nervous. Harry covered his stomach and looked very uncomfortable. Ron's face turned pale under his freckles. Allen stuffed the remaining candy into his pockets, put the clothes off randomly into his trunk, and rushed forward with the crowds in the aisle.

The train slowed down and finally stopped. The passengers pushed and shoved, rushed towards the door, and went down to a dark and small platform. The cold air at night made Harry, who was close to Alan, shivered. Then a light shook above the students' heads. Alan heard a rough voice shouting: "First-year freshmen! First-year freshmen come here! Harry, come here, how are you?"

Above the crowded sea of people, Hager smiled with a big bearded face. "Come on, come with me, are there any freshmen in the first grade? Be careful under your feet, okay! First graders come with me!"

The freshmen followed Hagrid and stumbled, as if they were walking downhill along a steep and narrow path. Alan was adapting well and had the spare time to support Harry and pull Foleg. "At this time, Ron's shorter robe obviously has an advantage. He was walking much more steadily than other freshmen." Alan thought randomly.

The road was pitch black on both sides, and everyone was silent, with a very horror movie atmosphere.

"After turning this turn, you will soon see Hogwarts for the first time." Hagrid turned around and shouted. Then there was a loud "Oh--!", and a black lake suddenly unfolded at the end of the narrow path. On the high hillside across the lake, there was a towering castle, with spires on the castle, and windows flashing under the starry sky.

"Each boat cannot exceed four people!" Hagrid said loudly, pointing to a small boat moored by the shore. Alan quickly occupied a boat, and Ron followed, and Harry and Fulleg supported each other and climbed onto the boat.

"Have you all been on the boat?" Hagrid shouted, and he took a boat by himself. "Okay, go forward!" A small boat immediately rowed across the mirror-like lake and headed forward. Everyone was silent and stared at the huge castle that was high into the sky. When they approached the cliff where the castle was, the castle seemed to stand above their heads. "Look down!" As the first small boats approached the cliff, Hagrid shouted loudly. Everyone lowered their heads, and the boat carried them through the ivy curtain covering the front of the cliff to the secret open entrance. They seemed to come to the bottom of the castle along a pitch-black tunnel, and finally reached a place similar to an underground pier, and then climbed up a ground of gravel and pebbles.

Next, Hagrid knocked open the castle door with a huge fist, and the dignified and serious Professor McGonagall took the freshmen to a very small room on the other end of the castle hall. Professor McGonagall introduced the four colleges in Hogwarts and notified that the branch ceremony would be held for a while. It can be seen that the little wizards were extremely nervous: the little wizards from the Muggle world were confused and did not know what kind of challenges they would face; freshmen from the wizard family did not seem to get information from their relatives in their family, and no one seemed to want to destroy this mental journey, which was also a rare growth experience.

"How can they exactly which college they assigned us to?" Harry asked.

Fulleg wanted to know the answer, so he turned his head to look at Allen.

"Don't worry, we won't drop out of school," Allen comforted.

"It was probably passing a test, and Fred said it hurt us a lot, but I think he was joking." Ron looked horrified.

Allen didn't explain too much. Anyway, they would know in a while. It was not difficult for them. The difficult thing was Allen. He had to face the hat that could see through people's thinking and potential. He didn't know if it would discover the system and whether it would be powerful enough to see through his secrets. For this reason, he had been practicing for a summer vacation and focused on practicing brain closure. A master of brain closure can only see the parts he wants to see. Allen also needs to consider what can be seen by the Academy hat.

Just as Allen was immersed in his thoughts, Harry next to him suddenly jumped three feet high, and there were loud screams from several people coming from behind. It turned out to be a ghost. Allen should have been surprised and curious, after all, he had never seen a ghost, but he was immersed in the brain closure technique and only looked at it for a few seconds, then calmly continued to close his eyes and concentrate.

As the ghosts floated through the walls, Professor McGonagall returned. "Now, line up in a single line," Professor McGonagall said to the first-year freshmen, "Follow me." The branch ceremony is about to begin!
