Chapter 400: One Step Away
"Let's sit down and take a break, I'll go and serve you a drink." Alan took Hermione away from the dance floor gentlemanly.
After Allen left, Hermione patted her cheek with both hands and turned around in excitement.
Ron, who was sitting in the distance, was squinting at Hermione, and Padma sat with his arms crossed and crossed his legs, one foot shaking with the rhythm of the music. From time to time, she rolled her eyes at Ron with dissatisfied eyes, and Ron completely ignored her.
When he saw Allen holding a glass of juice to Hermione, sitting on the chair with her waist in her arms, he angrily pinched an orange.
The orange juice almost splashed on Padma's skirt, and she jumped up, with a tense face, and agreed to an invitation from a Goatee-bearded but handsome Demstrong boy.
The band started playing a new song again. Allen saw the band captain Jared Leto's gesture to show him. The next song was the dance music that Allen had agreed with him.
"Next is our dance music. Do you want to dance tango? Hermione?" Allen stood up, bent down and reached out to Hermione to make an invitation gesture.
Hermione was slightly stunned, her eyes couldn't help looking to the right, her red lips slightly opened, "This song, Tango?"
Alan's hand stretched out did not retract, his head leaned slightly left, staring at Hermione with encouragement, raised his chin and pointed downward.
"Allen, I'm a little scared." Hermione lowered her eyes and immediately raised her eyes to Alan and said.
"What are you afraid of?"
"I was afraid of making mistakes, so I only learned a little in Muggle school." Hermione licked her lips, her voice a little dry.
"Tango doesn't matter if it's misstep, it's not like an exam. It's simple, so it's great. If you step on a misstep or trip, keep jumping. Why not try it?"
Hermione let out a long sigh, picked up the hem of her skirt and stood up. Alan took the initiative to hold her hand and the two walked towards the dance floor.
Just as the song ended, amid the noisy conversation between the little wizards, Allen pulled Hermione to stand in the middle of the dance floor.
Alan could feel the palm of the hand he was holding was slightly wet, and he could see the uneasiness in Hermione's eyes. His other hand also comfortedly covered Hermione's hand, and then held her with a little force and took the initiative to hold Hermione's other hand.
The melodious sound of the violin sounded, and Allen's right hand wanted to hold Hermione's waist, but then he raised Hermione's right hand, which had nowhere to be placed, and placed it on his shoulder. Hermione couldn't help but smile.
The violin leads the melody in a high-profile and restrained manner. Under the guidance of Allen, Hermione stepped on the tango steps, and her stiff body gradually became flexible. With the melody of the music, she had noble steps and a arrogant attitude as expressed in the dance music. She wanted to welcome her partner but refused, and entangled her.
With a force on Allen's wrist, Hermione's body involuntarily fell backwards, revealing her slender and white neck.
Alan quickly pulled her back, and Hermione couldn't help laughing for a moment and quickly tightened her expression.
With the piano's powerful keystroke before the music climax, Hermione took a deep breath before the next rotation, and then increased the amplitude as Allen's movements. The flying long hair, the rotating skirt corners, and the slender calves all formed a very impactful and seductive picture.
The tactful and exciting dance music made the two of their limbs entangled and broke up and got back together. Hermione tried her best not to make the emotions she showed appear frivolous and uneducated.
A song ended, and the complex and inextricable melody of regret still lingered in Hermione's mind, like a dance without any fun, always missing one last step away.
"Hermione, you danced well, no mistake." Allen's affirmation promptly pulled Hermione out of her lost mood.
"You're going to dance well." Hermione laughed, stroked her hand to her chest, soothing her violently beating heart.
There was warm applause in the auditorium, and the little wizards applauded with knowing and friendly smiles, especially Ravenclaw and Gryffindor, who were almost whistling.
In the teacher's seat, Forge squinted his eyes and smiled at Allen, as if Allen was really his child.
As Foggy stood up and applauded, he searched for Albert, another member of the Harris family, and found that when he was immersed in the dance just now, Albert left the auditorium with his partner.
At this time, the weird sisters rushed onto the stage together, and the little wizards who recognized them screamed. Their hair was particularly thick and they were wearing black robes that were deliberately torn to pieces.
The explosive rhythm ignited the ancient castle, and the little wizards waved their hands and quickly twisted their bodies on the dance floor, cheering and laughing.
The weird sisters sang three songs "The Scenery of Eagle Head, Horse and Winged Beast", "So Tonight" and "Magic Things", and then left the stage amid the excited cheers of the little wizards.
Back at the seat, Hermione danced and her cheeks were slightly red, and she slapped herself in the wind with her palms.
"Let's go for a walk," Alan whispered to Hermione.
So they pretended to get drinks, left the table, turned sideways around the dance hall, sneaked out of the door, and came to the hall.
The front door was open, and as they walked down the steps, the fairy light of the rose garden was shining. They found low bushes around, ornately decorated winding paths and huge stone statues.
Alan could hear the sound of splashing water, like a fountain, and occasionally saw people sitting on flower-cut benches.
He and Hermione followed a winding path through the rose bushes, but after a few steps he heard an unpleasant familiar voice.
"…I don't understand why I'm so fussing, Igor."
"Severus, you can't pretend that this hasn't happened!" Kakarov's voice sounded terrified and hoarse, as if he was afraid of being heard. "For months, it has become more and more obvious. I'm very worried now, and I can't deny--"
"Then run away," Snape said impatiently, "run away-I will excuse you. But I want to stay in Hogwarts."
Snape and Kakarov turned a corner. Snape held a magic wand in his hand and blasted the rose bushes to both sides. He had a stern face and his expression was ugly. Screams came from many flowers, and several dark figures jumped out of it.
