Chapter 14 Emergency (Part 2)

The man was wearing summer clothes, but he was thin and very different from Bard's.

Winters recognized that the person was not Bud at first sight. And the person who came did not bring weapons such as long halberds, which means he was not an officer on the night stand.

He really caught someone who escaped from bed! Winters couldn't help laughing and crying.

It was a coincidence that the patrolman did not catch anyone, but he, the lazy person, caught one.

The person who was intercepted by Winters was also stunned. The man clearly saw that the officers on patrol had already walked away, so he chose to run out from here.

Unexpectedly, I suddenly sat up half of my body on the dark stone table on the roadside, and thought I had encountered a ghost.

"Stop! What grade are you?" Winters felt angry and his tone became harsh.

I never thought that the other party was not at all talking. The man ran away, walked through Winters' side and headed straight for the residential area.

Winters didn't react for a while. He was stunned for a few seconds before realizing that the other party had actually ran away.

Bastard! He was caught by the squad leader in the escape bedroom, but he didn't admit his mistakes and begged for mercy. He even ran away if he dared to scatter?

This made Winters' lungs burst, and he took a step and chased him: "Stop! Dare to run? What's running?"

Winters is taller and has a more agile and powerful step than the guy who escaped from the bed. Although the opponent won some leads in this race, he was not as good as Winters after all.

Before he could run out of thirty meters, Winters had already caught up with the opponent.

"Can you run away from the monk or the monastery?" Winters scolded loudly, grabbed the man's shoulder from behind, and suddenly exerted force to pull the man down.

It was not until he grabbed the man's shoulder that Winters realized something was wrong: the other party was wearing a hood and covered his face, his shoulders were slender and soft, and he was light in weight, and he didn't look like a man, and he fell down with just one pull... It was not right! It was a woman! There were no female students in the military academy! It was a thief!

The female thief was pulled out of balance by Winters, and fell heavily to the ground with a slight groan in pain.

Although the other party was a thief, he was a woman after all. Winters was a little embarrassed to fail to hold back his strength.

But in the blink of an eye, the female thief had already stood up. She pulled out the dagger without saying a word, giving Winters no time to react, and rushed towards Winters like a bobcat.

A dagger with a cold light penetrated straight into Winters' chest.

Even though Winters had an absolute advantage in height, weight and strength, he was caught off guard by this cruel woman.

It was the instinct that practiced swordsmanship for many years that saved Winters. He subconsciously waved his right arm and misled the dagger.

Winters used a deep knife wound on the outside of his right arm to exchange for a dagger that failed to penetrate his chest.

But then, the female thief's shoulder hit Winters' heart.

Winters was hit and staggered, losing his center of gravity and falling to the ground.

The female thief refused to give in and rode on Winters, pressed the dagger with all her weight, and penetrated it hard into Winters' neck.

Two consecutive moves, the moves are deadly.

Winters subconsciously crossed his arms with his hands crossed his arms.

This is the pre-catching action. As long as you exert force properly, you can twist the dagger.

However, caught off guard, Winters had forgotten all his skills and only focused on using brute force to push the other party out.

Just as the two were in a stalemate, Wintersford was in his heart.

Ike's voice rang in his mind—"Why not burn his hair?"

Before he even had time to use the gesture, Winters went directly into the casting state.

He resisted the strong squeezing and tingling, and activated the ignition technique with all his strength, pouring magic into the exposed hair under the other person's hood.

First there was smoke and a little flame, and finally the woman's hair rose with a "bang".

The flame then ignited the hood, and the other party's top burned like a torch.

At first, women didn't feel it yet.

She smelled the burnt smell first, and then there was a violent sting of flames burning the skin.

The woman who took Winters' life in cold blood the next second screamed and jumped up from Winters, untied her hood, and pounced on her hair desperately.

The danger of life was temporarily lifted, but Winters didn't care about pursuing the female thief.

He quickly took out the whistle from his shoulder bag that he had issued to the night patrolman and blew it violently.

The duty of the sentry is not to eliminate the invaders, but to warn his companions in a timely manner.

The sharp whistle pierced the silent night, and Winters used this to inform Bud and other students standing at night to inform him of the situation, and also hoped that they could come and support him as soon as possible.

Although his opponent was a woman whose strength and weight were far inferior to Winters, this cruel style of taking life scared him.

The woman heard the whistle sound, and regardless of the flames on her head were still burning, she turned around and rushed to the alley in the residential area.

Winters followed closely, but he never thought that the other party would throw his dagger at him with a wave of his hand.

The dagger general wiped over Winters, just one finger away from his width, and he was almost cut into another hole.

Winters pursued him relentlessly. Suddenly, a severe pain came from the soles of his feet, as if something sharp object pierced the boot and pierced into the soles of his feet.

He couldn't run anymore, panting and fumbled through the soles of his boots, finally pulled out a metal item, took it in front of him and realized what was going on.

It turned out that the female thief had sprinkled caltrops all the way. It was dark in the night and he couldn't see anything on the ground, so he stepped on it.

After suffering several losses, Winters was almost crazy.

When he looked up again, the woman with flame-haired hair had disappeared into the alley where he could not see his fingers.

There is no plan for these alleys in the residential area, just the gap left when building a house. It is full of twists and turns.

Once the female thief entered the alley, Winters had no hope of catching up with her. Winters was also worried that the female thief would be ambushed at a corner, so he did not rashly enter the alley.

Kaltrops are a very immoral weapon, especially when they are scattered at the exits of crowded alleys. Nearby residents will feel very painful tomorrow...

Winters stood for a while and walked back with grievance.

After a brief and fierce life-and-death struggle, he felt scared.

No one will be on the verge of death without feeling afraid. As long as he was a little less lucky or slower just now, he may be dead now.

He could never have imagined that Yegang could kill anyone?

His right hand was wet. When he looked at the moonlight, Winters found that his hand was covered with black and viscous liquid, which was blood.

A deep wound was cut into his right arm, and the sleeves of Xia Changfu were soaked in blood.

The effect of adrenaline gradually faded, and the feeling of fatigue and pain doubled towards Winters.

He had nothing on his hand to treat the wound, so he had to clench his left fist and clamp it under the armpit of his right arm, hoping to stop bleeding slightly.

While walking, he found a reflection of metal on the ground - it was the dagger.

Robbery?

Winters picked up the dagger, and there was a small square package the size of a palm next to it, which he picked up.

The fabric outside the package feels very good, and it seems to be silk. That means it is not the garbage thrown by others, but it should be something that fell out when the woman put out the fire on her hair.

Winters stuffed two things into his shoulder bag and continued to walk towards the stone table.

The heavy running sound gradually approached, and Bud ran over.

Bud was surprised to see Winters sweating heavily, his left hand was clamped under his right armpit, and his right arm was completely soaked in blood.

"I heard the whistle...what is this?"

"There is a woman..." Winters felt that she might be a little dizzy because of blood loss: "It seems like a thief, who ran out of the school, holding a dagger. I lit her hair, and she ran away."

"What? Female thief? Where did the female thief come from?" The amount of information made Bard feel at a loss. He quickly distinguished the main and secondary: "Don't worry about the thief! Stop the bleeding quickly! Go back to the duty room first! Where did the thief run?"

Winters had both hands, so he had to point it with his head.

"Are you sure... are you lit the female thief's hair?" Bud looked in the direction where the female thief escaped and suddenly asked.

"Unless the hair on her head is not called hair!" Winters didn't understand why Bud asked this nonsense.

But then he was stunned.

The sky has been dyed red by flames.
