Chapter 25 The Orc's Tragedy

Since the official formation of the Base Mountain Tribe after several efforts, Zhang Quan has become a little less fond of returning to Earth. Compared to his obscurity in the world of Earth and his false devils when he has to face people, he feels that he lives more realistically in the Gaia world.

Here, he can even freely spread his life and change everything. Although the orcs here are foolish, their respect for him is real. The so-called white paper is easy to paint. Here, among these honest orcs, they enjoy their love and dominate their future destiny. Only then did Zhang Quan feel that this kind of life was what he had always dreamed of.

As time entered the Earth's Gregorian calendar, on December 23, 2015, the expansion of the Beidishan tribe in the northwest of the wasteland was finally about to reach a bottleneck, and the population growth rate slowed down, basically above 12,000. At the same time, the population structure of the tribe gradually stabilized.

It has to be said that although the orcs on the wasteland have an absolute survival advantage by using strong fighting races, the number of orcs from other races responsible for producing in the bottom of the society still stubbornly occupying the vast majority. As for the Base Mountain Tribe, among all the stray orcs collected during this period, the population of strong fighting races accounts for less than one-tenth of the total.

Among the orcs, the producers of the orcs who mainly rely on life skills such as grazing and supporting the entire orc social ecology, are mainly three major races such as the Sheep-headed Man (Gauth), Centaurus (House), and Dog-headed Man (Doug), accounting for more than 80% of the total number of people in the tribe. There are also other minority races such as skunk people and rat people, with about 1,000 people. The true strong fighting races of the tribe, such as Bear people (Bill), Taurus (Bole), Wing tribe (Berg), etc., have only a pitiful about 800 people.

Zhang Quan was surprised by such a huge population ratio, but after learning more about the orc society, he realized that this was the normal phenomenon of orc society. If the history of war recorded in the evolutionary history of orcs for thousands of years has always been a stage for the forced war races to shed their lives and blood, then in the entire huge orc society, the food, drink, defecation and sensation of a normal biological species is the producer and the orcs playing the protagonist.

A normal orc tribe, in fact, only a small part of the truly powerful warrior races, are mostly weak races serving these powerful warriors. These weak races are vassals of the powerful warriors, responsible for producing, feeding the entire race, and supporting the powerful warriors to go out to fight everywhere.

This is the true face of the orc society, a normal social structure formed during the evolution of a smart species. Otherwise, the entire wasteland would have been the strong warriors who would kill, loot and squander each other, and the orcs would have been exterminated long ago. A society without producers cannot gain a foothold in natural competition.

Although the strong warriors are powerful, they also have limitations. Compared with the humble living of the producers and orcs, every war on the wasteland is actually a battle for power and profit and killing each other.

The historical process of the orcs' civilization is inseparable from the strong war race, but even more so from the lowly producer orcs. They survive in the orc society where strength is supreme, relying on their powerful survival skills, super high fertility rate, and unimaginable will and resilience, silently supporting the society of strong warriors. More objectively, they are the main body of the orc society and the backbone of the orc society as a whole in the Gaia world.

Of course, Zhang Quan's view has some shadow of the theory of productivity in another world, and perhaps to be more deeply involved in the social class he lives in another world.

In short, after understanding the poor orcs under his command in a deeper picture, he sympathized with the survival status of these producers and orcs, and couldn't help but want to make some changes to this.

Changing the survival status of a certain class in a mature society is actually a change or revolution of this society. Although Zhang Quan doesn’t have much historical knowledge, he also knows that it is difficult. Fortunately, he consciously has all the knowledge and productivity of the entire earth world as backing, so he is not discouraged and almost carried out this plan with a piety similar to a martyr.

In fact, in his subconscious, he did not fail to compensate for his own value in another world. Surviving in that society with strict discipline and similar shackles, he also wanted to make changes. However, in that world, he lacked the power necessary for change and had to choose to compromise. However, in this world, he had the confidence to control everything and turn everything around.

Even if he really fails in the end and fails, he is willing to be a successful loser!

For some reason, Zhang Quan suddenly felt that he had become very young, full of ideals, confident and fearless, and lived more and more exciting every day!

...

In fact, in the history of the orcs, there is indeed an example of the transformation from producers to powerful warriors, and it is a very brilliant example, the Taurus Boer.

In the original orc society, the Taurus also existed as producers. Among the powerful and cruel races in the orc society, the Taurus' nature is honest, gentle and harmless. Compared with the powerful pride of the Ryantegers and the bloodthirsty and cruelty of the Wolfs, it does not conform to the consistent view of the orcs' strong fighting races.

For thousands of years, the Taurens have survived by production skills such as ironwork and grazing. They rarely participated in the mutual attacks and killings of orcs and races. They were once vassals of the powerful war races. Although they are strong and powerful, due to their personality defects, they cannot be compared with other strong war races as a whole. Their repeated resistances were ruthlessly suppressed, so they had to survive in humiliation.

This situation was hundreds of years ago. As the only race on the wasteland that mastered science and technology, the Niutou people finally waited for the quantitative change caused by the accumulation of technological progress in a certain historical period, the technology of building cities, and the heavy infantry phalanx tactics that came from southern humans gradually took root in the wasteland.

These two forces have caused a qualitative change in the power balance between the Taurus and other strong war races on the wasteland. The Taurus, who rose from the bottom, advanced forward with the tactics of building cities and phalanxes, destroyed the ruling structure formed by the strong war races on the wasteland, and established the first wasteland empire in orc history in one fell swoop.

Although the Taurus Empire was defeated by the counterattack of southern humans and elves, and finally became a flash in the pan under the joint suppression of temple religious forces and the remaining powerful warrior forces on the wasteland, this period of history is undoubtedly a magnificent war song that workers can write. The various orders and systems established on the wasteland during the period of the Taurus Empire are still constantly affecting the orcs hundreds of years later today, and the Taurus tribe has also jumped up among the orcs in the wasteland and become the upper ruling class.

This is an excellent example of the great historical changes caused by technological progress, and it is also the best role model for Zhang Quan to learn and learn lessons.

All success must be learned from the historical experience and lessons learned from the past failures!
