Chapter 28 Bone Demon

"How much magic do you have to squander? Not to replace it with an arcane missile."

"Ah? Yes..." Hearing Lynch's reminder, Palin suddenly realized, and stopped halfway through the spell, and replaced it with an arcane missile.

When a new spell was released, a series of white light balls rushed out "bang bang".

Although Palin had not experienced a real battle, he was about to be promoted to a mage. He released seven arcane balls at once, instantly passing through the gap in the gate and scattered at several skeleton warriors blocking the door. He heard a series of muffled sounds of "bang bang bang", and seven arcane missiles exploded violently one after another.

Among the countless light spots that were scattered, there were many fine bone stubbles mixed in, all of which came from skeleton warriors. Some of them had their entire arms blown away, and some had holes in the skull. Obviously, although this string of arcane missiles was not enough to kill them, they all caused considerable injuries to them.

Seeing his own battle results, Palin became a little confident. After the second wave of arcane missiles was brewing, a series of flying out again...

Under such an attack, the first batch of skeleton warriors were quickly destroyed.

However, before Palin could take a breath, more skeleton warriors rushed up on the slope outside the camp gate. The most important thing is that after the skeleton warriors, the skeleton mage had approached the camp...

They were standing behind the skeleton warriors, and the phosphorus fire in their eyes was beating wildly, and the disturbing magic power surged violently, and they actually started casting spells.

Sure enough, the next moment, the fireball flew out and hit the door one after another.

For a moment, flames flew everywhere, and as the fireballs hit, the entire gate swayed with a "creaking" sound.

Lynch knew that the gate had not lasted for long, and began to vent his magic power at all costs. Spells flew out of his hands, and the speed of cleaning up the skeleton warrior suddenly became faster.

Continuous castings caused Lynch's magic power to consume a lot. Fortunately, his meditation method was a magic pot, and the level of magic power was rare in the world. Otherwise, if he had a magic apprentice, he might have been unable to hold on now.

As for Perlin, he had already started taking drugs. Before coming, he brought several bottles of magic potions he had refined. He was just prepared for any trouble, but he really used them at this time.

But taking drugs is not a solution. If there is no external force intervention, he will be exhausted by the other party sooner or later. While using the arcane missile, he shouted at Lynch: "You go and control the crossbow cart and deal with those skeleton mages first!"

"It's not time yet." In a hurry, Lynch only replied this, ignored Palin and devoted himself to a new round of casting.

Under the bombardment of the two, the skeleton warriors outside the door were finally cleared, but the skeleton mages were still casting spells, manipulating fireballs, and constantly bombarding the camp gate.

At this moment, Palin also looked anxious and looked at Lynch from time to time. He couldn't figure it out. Seeing that the camp gate was about to be broken, why didn't Mafameilin start the crossbow? Once these skeleton warriors broke in, he would die?

"You prepare for the magic to dissipate."

However, just as Perrin wanted to urge him again, Lynch's command came again.

Palin also knew that now was not the time to argue, and that the dissipation of magic power was indeed the best choice for those skeleton mages outside. So he drank a bottle of homemade low-level magic potion again and began to recite a lengthy spell.

For magic apprentices, the difficulty of dissipating magic is even higher than that of the Hand of Fire. This time, Palin recited it for more than ten seconds before he finally completed it.

Palin waved the wand in his hand forward, and a transparent magic ripples rippled out from the tip of the staff. After passing through the fireballs in the air, five or six fireballs were rapidly melting, turning into light smoke, and disappeared in the air.

And it wasn't over yet, the transparent ripples continued to spread. When they passed through the skeleton mages, the magic around them suddenly became messy, and half of the spells were interrupted.

In this way, a brief calm was achieved in the uninterrupted fireball bombardment, and the pressure on the camp gate was relieved.

Just as Perlin breathed a sigh of relief and was about to say a few more words to Lynch, the earth suddenly shook and the gravel under his feet began to tremble.

"No way..." Palin's eyes suddenly shook. What's going on? Is it an earthquake?

In such hilly areas, earthquakes cannot die. The problem is that the gate of this camp is seriously damaged. What if the earthquake collapses?

Just as he looked at the camp gate with some concern, he accidentally saw outside through the gap in the door. Then, the little concern on his face was replaced by complete horror...

I saw a white bone monster running towards the wilderness below the gray hills.

It is taller and more powerful than ordinary skeletons, about three or four meters tall. The bones on its body are as if they were removed from the giant elephant, and they are dark red, as if they were soaked in blood. There are ferocious and sharp bone spurs on its back and shoulders. There are fists-sized phosphorus fires in its eyes. When it strode, it makes a low roar in its mouth...

Such a huge body size, no wonder it caused an earthquake...

What surprised Lynch the most was the giant rusty hammer that was resisted by this monster on his shoulder. The surface of the hammer body was covered with sharp barbs, and the tip of the barb was stained with shriveled flesh and blood. I don’t know which creature left it.

"Bone Demon..." Looking at this thing, Lynch couldn't help swallowing.

Although he had never seen the Bone Demon with his own eyes, he had seen an introduction to the Bone Demon from the book "The Book of the Undead" in the library of Auckland Academy. The appearance above was exactly the same as the Bone Demon in front of him.

This is a real second-level undead!

No wonder these undead attacked the gray camp at night. Now, when they first came here, they should have been targeted by the bone demon.

The second-level undead is extremely sensitive to life.

"What should I do?" When I thought that I would encounter the terrible monster recorded in the book later, Perling swallowed with difficulty.

“Cool.”

Lynch's face looked ugly and rushed towards the camp almost immediately.

Palin had no choice but to hurry up and follow.

As soon as Lynch and his friends walked up to the sentry tower, the camp gate blew and turned into a piece of broken wood flying.
