Chapter 102 Watt List
The big yellow duck fell into nothing, and the pipe hit the dry and hard land. When I shouted like this, I calmed down and cursed: "You bastard are so bad." The lazy guy's hand that was placed on his waist finally dropped, and said lightly: "I'm trying to save you. You don't thank me, but instead attacked me. Is it too kind to revenge?"
Mr. Hu spoke out, "Okay, don't argue." He then said to the big yellow duck, "If you don't do your best, why blame others? It's getting late, don't delay here, right?" I can see that Mr. Hu seems to be teaching the big yellow duck a lesson, but in fact he is calming down. It seems that his grandfather does not agree to stay in this strange cemetery.
At this time, the lazy guy yawned and looked straight at the center of the cemetery. There was also a stone tower in the center, which was as high as the surrounding stone towers, and even the materials were more sophisticated. It was not piled up with rocks, but with regular polished stones. I don’t know who was buried inside.
I suddenly remembered that big beard.
Obviously, the bearded man was also a soft rice dumpling. He kept saying that he was a practitioner, so his status should be not low. Could this largest stone tower be his fault? The lazy guy went straight to the stone tower and said, "Don't you find it strange that there is a cemetery in the deep mountains? Or is it because your alertness is too low? You don't want to know who left these cemeteries? Maybe it's related to what we are going to investigate."
Mr. Hu said with a face: "The map is in our hands, and there is still a day left to our destination. Now is not the time to be serious."
The lazy guy asked back, who could guarantee that the information on the map was true? Didn’t Mr. Bai say that this clue is not sure. Is it possible for us to act according to the opportunity? Mr. Hu was speechless by these words, so he could only shake his head and signal us to follow us.
At this time, Tofu was finished pulling it, twisting its pants and following up quickly. When he saw our location, he couldn't help but scream: "I said, how many benefits did Master Bai give you? It's worth your trouble?" The lazy guy didn't look back and said slowly: "Then what benefits did Master San give you two again, making you work so hard?" Tofu choked for a moment, and I found that the lazy guy was just too lazy to speak. He wanted to be diligent and could really choke people to death.
A distance of about thirty or forty steps, we reached the center of the stone tower. There was a half-man-high stone tablet on one side of the stone tower, embedded in it, and there were dense Tibetan texts carved on it. As for the text on it, no one except lazy people understood it. Sure enough, the lazy guy squatted down and began to look at the contents on the stone tablet. After a moment, he said to himself that it turned out to be so.
When Tofu heard this, she immediately squatted down and asked, "What's that? What's written on it?"
The lazy guy said, "You guessed it was right. A long time ago, there were people living in the mountain. It was a tribe called "Watan". This is their last cemetery." Tofu looked at the stone towers around him and said, "The last cemetery? If there was a tribe here, wouldn't these graves be too few? Where did Wadan go later?"
The lazy guy glanced at Tofu and told us about the contents on the stone tablet.
There is no clear record of how many years did Wadan exist before, but according to the text and religious information, Wadan people should also belong to the Tibetan nation, and their culture is similar to the Tibetan nation. Although it is located in the deep mountains, it has always had contact with the outside world. Wadan's people also practice. They also believe in Buddha, but there are some differences from Tibetan Buddhism. It can be said that it is a separate culture. Unfortunately, this culture has long disappeared. Even if we hadn't discovered these stone pagodas, we would probably never be known.
Watan people lived here for generations, but compared with traditional Tibetans, they prefer the sinicization of corpses and awe. In Watan, there are only tower burials and cremation. As for water burials, earth burials or sky burials, they do not exist, which is disrespect to the deceased.
Generally, most ethnic groups that value the dead too much have ancestor worship. Wadan is a typical ancestral worship group. According to the records on the stone tablet, they originally belonged to the Tibetan people. Historically, Tibetans were in extreme chaos for a long time, and Tibetans at the bottom were very difficult and often struggled on the brink of life and death. In order to survive, Tibetans urgently needed to form alliances. The targets of alliances were naturally their own brothers and sisters.
Therefore, the Tibetan people have derived a polyandry system that has been passed down to this day. Of course, this phenomenon has been reduced a lot now, but it still exists. It is often because several brothers will marry the same woman in order to form an alliance and protect their own property and territory. In ancient times, there was no such thing as paternity test, so they don’t know whose child is born. Anyway, it may be their own, so they naturally have to treat it well. Such unclear relationships have become a bond, buttoning the whole family together, allowing them to live tenaciously on the altitude of the vast and sparsely populated mountains.
Otherwise, according to the conditions of Tibetan areas in ancient times, if everyone is divided into countless small families, life will be extremely difficult.
Wadan is also a Tibetan branch. Because he could not bear the long-term turmoil in Tibet, he moved to this place under the leadership of a "Bawo". Bawo means hero in Tibetan. This Bawo is the leader of Wadan, and after his death, he also used the highest-standard tower buried.
Of course, the stone tower we are seeing now is actually the product of cremation. The real tower burial is to cast a tall tower and keep the body.
Wadan retains the tradition of the Tibetan nation, so it is normal for polygamy or close relatives to form alliances in Wadan. In this way, due to blood ties, some deformities will be born, and most of these children will often die prematurely. Many small stone towers we see on the outside are those deformities that die prematurely.
At this time, I remembered the child I saw last night and suddenly realized that it might be a child who died of abnormal brain development because his head was very big, but we didn't pay attention to this problem last night.
Tofu said: "Why did they even get married to each other even though they knew they would give birth to deformities?"
I said, "The ancients didn't know about this. They thought it was a 'revenge of evil', so their religious beliefs were more firm, and they believed that only by atonement in this life could heal the sins in this life could resolve the revenge of evil." The lazy man nodded slightly and yawned and said, "So Washan is also a tribe with religion above everything else."
According to the stone tablet, the later ethnic groups of Wadan became increasingly weak, one was because of the deformity, and the other was that most of their energy was spent on religious activities and there was no need to produce. Therefore, the ethnic groups declined to almost extinction later.
However, humans have strong survivability, and they eventually lived tenaciously.
Until an accident occurred, the fate of this tribe changed.
This incident is accompanied by legendary colors, so we cannot tell whether it is true or false. According to the contents of the stone tablet, the great master Pazhudala of Wadan felt that a disaster would happen, so he issued an order to move his tribe.
In an extreme religious environment, no matter how ridiculous this order is, no one will object. So Wadan said goodbye to his hometown in tears and prepared to move. However, just a few days later, there were no stars or moons. Before the Wadan people could move, disaster came.
That night, in the dark night, a sound like a drum beat came to mind. Then, the stars and moon in the sky dimmed. The ground suddenly began to tremble, and then evil ghosts crawled out from the ground. These evil ghosts slaughtered Wadan and turned this place into hell on earth.
The leader of the evil ghost was a skinless person. After devouring the living, they continued to devour the dead and headed towards the pagoda in Bawo. In order to prevent the evil ghost from offending Bawo, Pazhudala followed him and with the help of the Buddha's power, he opened a crack underground, pushing the evil ghost back to hell, and he himself sacrificed himself.
The remaining Wadan people buried the last group of dead people, including their patriarch, the owner of the highest stone tower, and then moved out of this place.
So, this is the last cemetery for Wasan.
As for what Was experienced after moving out, no one knows.
The previous records are understandable, but the subsequent records of evil ghosts are really too nonsense. We looked at each other and felt confused.
Tofu muttered: "Is that living Buddha that awesome? He can tear a crack in the earth? Ancient people were very smart. The only bad thing was that they like to exaggerate and do not start from reality in everything. Such behavior is really bad."
I said, "It seems that the practitioner we met last night was probably the last patriarch of Wadan. That child may be a deformed child who died. They did not hurt us. I don't think so."
At this moment, the sky was already bright. When Tofu heard that those deformed children died prematurely, his sympathy suddenly flooded and he nodded quickly and said, "Let's go, don't bother with these dead people."
As soon as he finished speaking, the lazy guy suddenly pulled out the probe shovel from his equipment bag.
