Chapter 27 Recruiting Magicians

The work of the Health Products Expo is very hard, and you have almost no time to spare every day from morning to night. However, for Jiang Yichen, he has become accustomed to it. Having said that in today's society, how could it be his turn to work that is both free and high in salary?

After work that day, Jiang Yichen took a bus back to school and walked to Hongguang Street near the college area. When he encountered traffic jams, he stopped three steps and slowly took a long time on the road.

Passengers in the car complained, but it was useless. The road construction process is far from rising at the rate of increase in the number of cars, and it is common for this situation to occur in big cities.

Jiang Yichen sat in the seat by the window, looking bored at the street view outside.

At this time, seven or eight people were surrounded by the door of a building on the west side of the road, all of whom looked up at a notice on the wall and were talking.

Jiang Yichen looked up curiously and saw that the notice was written in very black words:

"The company openly recruits performing artists, male and female singers, dance, acrobatics, magicians... all full-time and part-time jobs are available... Friends with a skill are welcome to join and develop together... Once hired, the treatment is generous..."

Singer, this job is really good. Just take a microphone and yell on the stage for a few minutes. It’s easy and earns a lot of money. Unfortunately, my voice is average, which is the level of joining in the fun at a karaoke party. Jiang Yichen thought with regret.

As for acrobatics and dances, it is even more unreliable. You have to split and lower your waist when you are young. You have high requirements for physical fitness, which is not something that ordinary people can do.

There are other magicians that I heard of as famous teachers. I can’t even get to the top of my work after a few years of hard work.

Jiang Yichen shook his head slightly and turned his head back.

Wait, no, magician? He suddenly remembered something.

Jiang Yichen stood up from his seat, ran to the door, and got off the bus early when the bus entered the station.

He walked back quickly for two minutes and came to the announcement just now.

The building where the notice was posted turned out to be a very large nightclub called "Shenghuang". At this time, it was still early and the business was not open yet.

Jiang Yichen carefully read the recruitment notice and the interview time was set at 2:00 pm on August 18th, which is the day after tomorrow. The location is in the second floor multi-purpose hall of the nightclub.

He silently wrote down the various requests for the applicants on the notice, then turned around and left, slowly heading towards the school.

The nightclub is open at night, which just meets his part-time requirements. Moreover, artists like this will not last too long each time, otherwise the guests will be tired of it. I heard that many singers and other singers have several shows a night.

If you can get this kind of job, it will be much better than being a tutor. Moreover, because there is a technical threshold, not everyone can do it, so the salary will probably not be bad.

As for the magician's skills, he couldn't even touch the door before. Now, haha, space is not just a toy, and it would be a waste of resources if you don't use it.

In addition, I have watched the special films of magic introduction on TV before, and I still remember some. Magic performances are mainly divided into two types: large-scale stage magic and close-up magic. The former requires large-scale magic props, dance, stage lighting, and audio performances. Such performances are only suitable for being held in a coloane or auditorium. There are many performers and the cost is high.

The latter close-up magic is much simpler. Basically, a magician performs a close-up performance against a small group of audiences. The props used are simple, mostly daily necessities, such as coins, playing cards, etc. However, because of face-to-face contact with the audience, the magician's personal quality is high, and it requires skillful techniques, otherwise it is easy to get into trouble. The content of the program is also relatively casual and can be played on the spot.

In places like bars and nightclubs, it is naturally impossible to perform large-scale stage magic, so the latter is the main focus.

The more Jiang Yichen thought about it, the more he felt that this matter was reliable. If possible, it would be fine to graduate from college. Of course, it would be time to stop at that time. After all, this was just a temporary measure and did not meet his future development intentions.

At present, we must first pass the interview. Although there is room for us, the necessary learning and drills are still indispensable.

After he returned to school, he hurriedly had dinner, then turned on Qi Zehui's computer and searched for magic-related videos and information online.

Next, we will prepare a few programs and props.

That night, he practiced until very late before going to bed.

Two days later, Jiang Yichen asked for leave from the company at the expo and went to Shenghuang Nightclub alone to apply for a job.

Following the prompts in the recruitment notice, he found the side door of the building, and after entering from there, a male staff member took him to the door of the multi-purpose hall on the second floor.

There are already many candidates sitting in chairs waiting for the interview.

The staff handed Jiang Yichen an registration form and asked him to fill it out.

Jiang Yichen took out his pen, walked to a table by the window, spread the registration form on it, filled in information such as name, address, contact information, etc., and finally wrote the three words "Magician" carefully on the job application column.

After handing the form to the staff, the other party explained that his number was thirty-six and asked him to wait in place to call the number.

He found a seat to sit down and looked at the surrounding environment.

The decoration of the outer hall is very high-end, with deep red carpets, solid wood decorative doors, light yellow wallpapers, exquisitely crafted chandeliers, and uniquely shaped copper art stair railings. A luxurious atmosphere comes to us.

Jiang Yichen watched all this curiously. He had never been to such a high-end place before, so he naturally felt very fresh.

The door of the multi-purpose hall was pushed open, and a young girl with heavy makeup and long earrings hanging on both sides walked out, with frosty faces.

"Hmph, I still think I can't speak clearly and have a heavy nasal sound. Isn't this popular now? I don't know the goods, so I'm not serving you anymore."

The young girl muttered angrily and twisted her waist toward the stairs. Her high heels made people worry about her balance.

Seeing this, the waiting people whispered to each other and talked a lot.

"No. 15." The staff continued to call.

"Here, come." A tall guy quickly stood up from his seat and walked into the multi-purpose hall, and the door closed again.

About three minutes later, the tall young man walked out with a drooping face.

"How is it?" his companion hurried forward and asked.

"What else? I made a mistake accidentally. I said I couldn't do it again. It was really harsh. Let's go." The tall guy took the bag from his companion and left together.

Listening to other people's comments, it seems that this person is also applying for a magician.

Applicants were called to the examination room one after another, but it seemed that most of them had failed, and only a few of them were successful, and they said they wanted to celebrate with joy.

It seems that the recruitment requirements are not low, Jiang Yichen thought to himself.
