Introduction—Photo (1)
My philosophy teacher in college once said to me: Nothing in the world will last forever, and the only thing that is eternal and unchanging is "change". At that time, I did not understand the practical significance of this sentence, but after entering society, I quickly discovered through the change that it was extremely correct.
Everything is changing, and you can only guess but not predict most of the things, such as when I encountered Lan Ting. I always thought that she and I would only be ordinary collaborators, but I didn’t expect that this kind of situation would happen that surprised me.
I began to not understand what she meant. We met by chance because of a plan. Although this was not the first time we met, it should be the first formal meeting. Then we had a conversation and then we had a meeting. She suddenly found me and told me that she had also been to the desert I had visited and encountered something strange.
This sounds a bit like the beginning of a suspense novel. Is she testing whether the beginning of her novel is attractive? Take a good joke?
But when I looked into her eyes, I found that she was very serious.
We are engaged in photography and have a special intuition about human eyes. Because when photography reaches a certain level, the things captured by the lens are deep inside. The immortal photography works are often taken by human souls. So I can feel that there is no joke in her eyes.
"What's the matter?" I asked, "I'm a photographer, not a desert expert. I don't know if I can help you?"
She continued to move forward: "It's because of this that I'm looking for you."
"Oh?" I was stunned: "Is it a photography problem?"
She smiled a little reluctantly: "I hope it's just a photography problem... Do you have time to help me see it now? Let's find another place to talk."
I looked at my watch. Although I was very tired and wanted to go back to bed and watch American TV series for a while before going to bed, I felt that rejecting her at this time was very cruel. What's more, I have been in the industry for 15 years and am very conceited about my photography skills. Someone asked me that I was still a little vanity and wanted to show off.
So I smiled and nodded.
