Section 289 Mao Shinan Comes

In the East Palace of Chang'an, the palace gate slowly opened. The Crown Princess Shi led many concubines and grandsons in this small palace to welcome them out of the palace gate. They walked to a palace car and bowed their heads: "My concubine (son) welcomed her husband (father) back to the palace..."

Liu Ju walked slowly out of the palace car, looked at his concubines and children, and said, "Get up..."

After leaving Beijing this time, the Han prince stayed in Yuyi County for more than a month.

It was not until he saw rain falling from the sky and nourishing the earth that he felt relieved to turn back to Chang'an.

In Yuyi for more than a month, he personally sat in the Yuyi County Government, directed and dispatched the system, and continued to recruit materials from Bowangyuan, finally reducing the impact of the drought on the Yuyi people to a minimum.

However, his mood couldn't be better.

Recalling what he saw in Yu Yi, the crown prince of the empire clenched his fists tightly.

As we all know, this prince was actually raised by the late Changpinglie, waiting for Wei Qing to be raised and educated. After all, when I was in my prime, I was either in Fengshan, searching for immortals and asking for the Tao, or walking on the road between Fengshan and searching for immortals and asking for the Tao.

The father and son may have met less than four or five times a year.

So much so that the relationship between father and son is far less than that between Wei Qing and the emperor and the emperor.

And this crown prince was naturally greatly influenced by his uncle Wei Qing.

The personalities of nephew and uncle are particularly similar.

They are all the same good men and the same kind of honest gentlemen.

But now, the prince of the Han Dynasty seemed to have a volcano rolling in his heart in anger!

So much so that he had just got off the car, but he did not order the ministers and guests to reward him like in the past. Instead, he ordered coldly: "All the ministers and guests worked hard for more than a month, and they would give him a message and take three days off..." Then, surrounded by concubines and wives and children, he walked into the cold palace gate.

Looking at the vermilion palace gate, slowly closing.

More than a hundred prince's subordinates and guests looked at each other, unable to believe their eyes and ears.

It seems that this crown prince at home... still hasn't calmed down!

"Have you replied to me?" In the crowd, Jiang Sheng asked his disciples with a cane.

"Report to the teacher..." A young disciple stepped forward and said, "Mr. Mao replied three days ago, saying that he had ordered Mr. Yannian to come to Chang'an!"

"Young Master Yannian?" Jiang Sheng raised his eyebrows and asked, "But the Young Master Yannian, who is called 'Young Master Yannian, can be a poet of my poems?'

The Mao poetry school is the youngest but most talented school among the three major Han schools of "Book of Songs".

Since the founding of the Gentleman Pavilion in Hejian, Mr. Mao Heng has been a member of the world, I have come to know many talents from all over the world to follow.

The Maoist School of Poetry has developed rapidly.

Especially in the hands of Xiao Mao Gong, he received strong support from the late King Xian of Hejian Liu De.

I want money to give money, people to give people, and policies to give policies.

It is easy to do things if you have money. When the gentleman's house was in full swing, he was known as 1,800 disciples and 36 wise men.

The most famous one is Xiao Mao Gong’s closed disciple, Guan Changqing, now the actual leader of the Mao poetic school.

Guan Changqing's "Poem" is said to be extremely rigorous, and his family's academic knowledge is extremely profound.

His father Guan Gao, Zeng Zhi's "The Legend of Zuo in the Spring and Autumn Period", studied under the famous Jia Yi and Jia Changsha, and was appointed as a doctor for King Xian of Hejian, with a status of the same as that of Mr. Xiao Mao.

As he grew up, the son of the great scholar who was born with a golden key, he joined his father's confidant, and specialized in Mao Heng's school of poetry.

In the past twenty or thirty years, as Xiao Mao Gong grew older, Guan Lang actually presided over the affairs of the Mao Poetry School and the Gentleman Pavilion.

It was in his hands that the Mao poetic school did not lose any speed of development after losing a big financial backer like King Xian of Hejian.

In the past twenty years, countless elites have been educated.

Some disciples even had their posts up to 2,000 stones and were appointed as prefects in one place and pastoral people in a county!

Therefore, the Han Confucian scholars respected this Guan Changqing as "Hejian Guan Weng" to show respect.

Guan Weng was rigorous in his studies and taught his disciples for decades. It is said that he has never laughed seriously. No matter how his disciples achieved, he always remained calm.

Until five years ago, a young man from Qi State joined Guan Weng's disciple.

As soon as he entered the school, he was valued by this Guan Weng and accepted as a disciple of the closed family. He also publicly praised him: "The one who can promote my poems is the son of Yannian!"

Therefore, this young master Yannian became famous all over the world and was appointed as the spiritual leader of the next generation of Mao Poetry School.

Now, this disciple of Xiao Mao Gong, the leader of the next generation of Mao Poetry School, has broken the tradition of "not being an official" for three consecutive generations of Mao Poetry School and has resolutely entered Chang'an.

What does he want to do?

Jiang Sheng tightly held the staff in his hand, his face a little embarrassed.

I just want to find an ally to suppress the Zhang Zizhong and the Gongyang School.

He never thought of bringing a wolf into the house!

Jiang Sheng knew very well that when it comes to academic research, he was not the top one.

In academics, there are several who have achieved greater achievements than him and who are higher than him.

Even Di Shan, the shameful doctor of the Guliang School, had much higher academic achievements than him.

Not to mention top scholars like Dong Zhongshu and Mao Shan, who have brought a school to the peak with their own strength!

Nowadays, although Mr. Mao is old, he has been in his seventies and is said to have lost both mouths and cannot even walk.

but……

If the crown prince issued an imperial edict, the court sent an chariot and the emperor sent an envoy to welcome him. Jiang Sheng knew that even if he had to die in the next second, this little Mao Gong would crawl to Chang'an!

Back then, when the Jianyuan New Policy was in his 90s, Duke Shen of Lu was still in his twenties, and he went to Chang'an thousands of miles away despite the fatigue of travel.

Confucius traveled around the countries and was never allowed to use it, so this cast a huge shadow and fear in the hearts of Confucian scholars.

Therefore, as the disciples of the Master, none of the giants of various schools that claim to be the orthodox Confucianism can resist the summons of the emperor and the temptation and temptation of the crown prince.

This is not only the mission of every Confucian scholar, but also the ideal of every Confucian scholar, assisting the king, governing the world, and educating the world!

As long as he is a Confucian scholar, he cannot refuse the call from the heart and the call from the soul!

"But I was wrong..." Jiang Sheng faced the north with a crutch.

He originally thought that the Mao Poetry School had been descendants of three generations since the Mao Zedong and Mr. Mao Heng, who chose to concentrate on studying and ignore common things, probably had no ambitions for politics and governance.

It seems now...

The ambitions of others are big!

As soon as he took action, he sent his next generation descendants and leaders to Chang'an.

If the situation can be opened up, can Guan Changqing and Mao Qian sit in the river?

I am afraid that the Gentleman Pavilion will have to move to Bowangyuan!

If the gentleman's house is moved to Bowangyuan, where will the gentleman from Guliang live?

But the other party was invited by himself.

"Did you shoot yourself in the foot?" Jiang Sheng thought to himself, and then he shook his head.

He looked in Xinfeng, and that Zhang Zizhong was not easy to deal with.

Although Jie Yannian said it very well...

But I'm afraid I can't beat the other party!

If so...

"I may be able to reap the benefits of a fisherman when fighting each other!" Jiang Sheng's mouth was filled with a smile.

When the next generation of the Mao Poetry School enters Beijing, they will definitely bring some of the foundation and basis of the Mao Poetry School.

If this is true, maybe we can still get a glimpse of the power of the Confucian branch that has been hidden in Zhao State for decades.

……………………………………

Pubansui is still unknown now, but is highly valued fortress in the Han Dynasty.

Because from the eastward migration of Hangu, Guanzhong lost the strongest oriental barrier.

In order to make up for it, since the Yuan Feng, the Han Dynasty has rebuilt a new Taolin Pass on the basis of the Taolin Pass in the old Jin Kingdom in northeast of Huayin to guard the traffic throat between Guanzhong and Luoyang and protect Chang'an.

In order to protect Taolins, this Puban Pass was built on the north bank of the Great River to cover and support the safety of the Taolins on the flanks, and at the same time block the enemy from the south bank of the Yellow River from the raid of Guanzhong.

This fortress system will be continuously improved and developed in the next two or three hundred years, and will eventually replace the original Hangu Pass and become the Tongguan Fortress system of Guanzhong defense core Tongguan Fortress system in the Tang Empire after a hundred years.

But at this time, because the Han Empire was upright, it was impossible for the enemies from the country to threaten the safety of Chang'an.

So both Taolin Pass and Puban Pass are still very simple.

In particular, Pubansai only had one Sima county soldier stationed as a public security force.

However, in this turbulent Yellow River, there are several buildings and ships patrolling from time to time.

These are the building ships controlled by the Grand Seminary. Their main responsibility is to stop the cargo ships and merchant ships, and check whether the other party has paid the tax on the ship.

If the tax was not paid... the Grandmaster would like to thank Bumin, the cargo on the ship.

If the ship owner is not lucky, he may even be called to have tea by the Grand Master.

Although the policy of suing the corrupt policy has been terminated in fact, the law of suing the corrupt has not been deposed yet.

He hit the Grand Secretary’s hand and was caught. If there was no connection with the backstage, and with a little luck, the ship owner would have to give Grand Secretary’s work.

Therefore, in the river area in front of Pujin Ferry, merchant ships and passenger ships have basically paid vehicle and ship tax.

To be honest, the car and ship tax of the Han family is actually not high.

Only after a large ship worth more than five meters was calculated, it was only 120 coins.

In this way, many people don’t want to communicate or are unwilling to communicate.

Just like now, looking at the huge tower ship in front of him, a cargo ship merchant sailing on this river said cursingly: "The tax collectors who have been killed these days!"

While cursing, he had to take out several official documents from the Grand Minister's Farmer.

Be prepared to deal with those possible checks.

There was no way, and the merchants and powerful people in the world were scared by the lawsuit and killing him.

Nowadays, almost few people dare to evade taxes at the risk of raiding their homes and exiles.

Especially large cargo ships and merchant ships can only pay taxes with gritted teeth.

"When competing for profit with the people, can the country be peaceful if this lasts? "A young Confucian scholar stood on the deck of the bow of the boat, looking at all this, sighing with heartache.

When Mencius met King Hui of Wei, King Hui asked straight to the point: "Will there be a benefit to our country?"

Mencius replied: "Why do you have to speak of profit? It's good to have benevolence and righteousness!"

This is the first time that Confucian scholars have introduced benevolence and righteousness as the criterion in the view of justice and profit.

But what really awakened the Confucian scholars was a theory proposed by Dong Zhongshu more than 20 years ago.

At that time, Dong Zhongshu clearly put forward the idea of "having suffered from big things, not taking small things", and thus invented a word "competing for profit with the people".

As soon as this word was invented, it immediately became popular all over the world and was widely accepted by various Confucian schools.

Then, quietly mixing your own private goods will become your own theory.

Even if it was Dong Zhongshu, he would be in vain for such behavior.

A great copy of various schools of thought is really serious. Dong Zhongshu's discussion also copied many people's things.

Not only Confucianism, he also copied the Legalists, Yin-Yangists, Zonghengists and Huang-Lao School.

Since ancient times, literati have cited other people's theories and words and added something to their own tradition.

Once Dong Zhongshu died, the theory of "competing for profit with the people" lost its explanation, so the world's school of thought was even more unscrupulous to stuff things into this conclusion.

He completely put Dong Zhongshu's spirit of argument aside, ignoring Dong Zhongshu's emphasis on "Food and Wealth Family" should not compete with the people for profit.

Don’t run private industries, be professional for the country and the people, and be a good public servant of the people.

So much so that now, many Confucian scholars in the south simply link the theory of "competing for profit with the people" with the national court.

It is believed that the court collects commercial taxes to compete with the people for profit!

The tax on fish and salt collection of boats is even more competing with the people for profit.

As for the salt and iron yamen, it is simply an evil existence that is scattered by bamboos in the south and water in the east sea, and it is difficult to cleanse all the books!

In the north, this argument is slightly lighter (mainly because of the existence of the Gongyang School and the Legalist forces), but it is not necessarily gentler than the Qilu area.

At this moment, the young Confucian scholar looked at the tax ships roaming the Yellow River with hatred eyes.

As a child of a landlord from Qi State, the image of the tax collector in his eyes has long been terrible.

At the grassroots level of southern counties, the clerks are like wolves and tigers, exploiting and exploiting common people and even middle-class landlords.

So much so that there were countless refugees in the local area and the order was chaotic.

When he was a teenager, his biological father was almost killed by a clerk because of his tax resistance, which made him hate the tax collector.

When he became a teacher, read poetry, understood the ways of the former kings, and understood the teachings of the saints, he determined to "clearize the world, assist the king and father, and help the people, and use the seven policies of the sect to comply with the actions of Duke Zhou, and establish the teachings of the people."

Let this world reappear!

"I have heard that Han Dynasty had Changsun, who had great ambitions, and wanted to continue the unique skills of the past saints and bring peace to the ages..." The young man looked at the rolling Yellow River water and thought to himself: "When I go to Chang'an, I will assist the virtuous grandson and promote my great ambitions!"

As for the legendary opponents?

In his opinion, they are all fighting against the five scumbags!

who is he?

He is the most outstanding disciple in the Guzi Pavilion ever! Thousands of disciples of the Maosi School, including his teacher Guan Weng, praised them all, thinking that Maosi would be able to enjoy himself in the future!

He was only twenty-five years old and was accepted as a closed disciple by his mentor and trained as the successor of the robe and mantle!
