There was a platinum writer who wrote a book that year, and the ending was finished. He uploaded it and revised it. Because I personally liked his book, I talked to him about the subsequent plot.

Most writers actually like to talk about novel creation, so he started to tell me about the future of this book! After I heard the ending, I said, "Why did Cao not die in the ending?" If Cao dies, it will definitely be a huge sensational point, which can push the taste you want to the extreme."

I was just expressing my opinion at the time.

The next day I went to his room to continue chatting, but I saw the other party crying while revising the novel. That morning I just sat quietly watching him modify the chapters of less than 6,000 words. He used two packs of tissues and one morning.

I was very moved at the time. This was a very talented platinum writer, and his hand speed was quite fast, at least much faster than me.

Many years have passed, but I still remember it very clearly. His book was a buyout and his other income was also very good. For him, whether or not that chapter would not affect his income would be a penny.

But he changed his six thousand words for a full morning, just to get the best spiritual satisfaction from his friends who read books.

You know, at that time, the author was still writing something else, and he was still in a state of rushing the manuscript, but he took out a manuscript that had no economic benefits for him.

I am talking about patience. Be patient and concentrate on your own works. Unless you are a genius, don’t rush to publish books and save more manuscripts. This is not only responsible for yourself, but also for your readers.

Several people asked me the same question yesterday, read my chapter comments, and said, what if he saved a million manuscript and the novel failed?

Facing this problem, I am actually speechless.

Why speechless?

Because how unconfident are you in your work? Are you planning to make money? If you really treat your work 100% , write a million words, and then go back and revise it, find the mistake, then your work will not be bad.

A truly patient and focused work will not be of much quality.

After I finished speaking patiently, I would like to talk about concentration for a few words. Focus is the next topic. I will mention it briefly today.

What is concentration? Focus on one’s mind! What is focus on one’s mind?

To give a simple example, I always hear people coming to ask me, saying that Tang San’s writing style is average, Tang San’s this and that, why can’t he become famous? I can’t? Every time I hear such words, I want to laugh.

Every author I have seen who has achieved results never says such words, because! Red-eye can't make you concentrate, it can only make you jealous and destroy a pure writing heart, and... Red-eye can make you blind.

Tang San's words are not called ordinary, that is a state of mind. Have you ever heard of the heavy sword without sharp edges? People who are really good at telling stories do not rely on gorgeous words to pile up, but use words with a serious storytelling heart.

I have seen many types of authors, talented and non-geniused. Some of them may not save manuscripts and revise them, but they have one common feature, which is to concentrate and have no red-eye disease. Red-eye disease will only make people loser.

Today I have talked about a lot of writing. You can treat your colleagues as writing experiences, and you can treat it as a way to see what I have seen and heard in the years I have written?

The last two things, the first thing, I revised the manuscript last night until after 2 a.m. I was so tired. I got up this morning and continued to modify it. I was so tired! So tired!
