Two hundred and seventy-six. Operation Zero

When Jiang Hailong was idle in the voyage department to read the newspaper brought back by Li Zheng, an article caught his attention: lt;lt; the Nanjing Massacre I saw gt;gt;. A foreign journalist used a camera and a diary.

It faithfully describes the scene in which the Japanese army massacred Chinese military and civilians in Nanjing in December 1937, raped women, and the scene was turned into ruins of one-third of the city of Nanjing at that time. The scene was quite bloody and shocking.

The Nanjing Massacre, which is the Nanjing Massacre, is a war crimes such as rape, arson, robbery and crimes against humanity committed by Japanese militarism in Nanjing, the capital of the Republic of China in the early days of the war of aggression against China.

In November 1937, the National Revolutionary Army lost in the Battle of Shanghai. On November 18, Chiang Kai-shek ordered the Chinese army to retreat on all sides. With the large-scale bombing of Japanese bombers, the retreat evolved into a great defeat. After Shanghai was occupied by Japan, the Japanese army took advantage of the situation.

He invaded Nanjing in three ways. Chinese general Tang Sheng was determined to defend Nanjing and volunteered to command the defense battle in Nanjing. Chiang adopted his suggestion and on November 20, the National Government announced the relocation of the capital to Chongqing (Qing).

Nanjing is only more than 300 kilometers west of Shanghai. Before the Japanese army approached Nanjing in early December, the Chinese command mobilized 13 divisions and 15 regiments, a total of more than 100,000 troops to defend Nanjing. Many of these units have just experienced it.

The hard battle in Shanghai and the subsequent major retreat were severely short of staff and morale was quite low. Most of the newly added tens of thousands of soldiers had not completed training, so the combat effectiveness could be imagined. Tang Shengzhi publicly expressed his swearing to live and die with Nanjing City many times, and

Jiang promised not to retreat without orders. He took the attitude of fighting to the death. In order to prevent the troops from retreating privately, he ordered the ships controlled by various departments to be handed over to the headquarters, and also withdrew two ferries from Xiaguan to Pukou to Wuhan, a series of "burning boats"

The order laid hidden dangers for the later tragic retreat.

On December 1, 1937, the Japanese army issued a combat order to attack Nanjing, and the battle to defend Nanjing began.

On December 2, the Jiangyin defense line was lost. The first and second fleets of the main forces of the Chinese Navy were all sunk in the Sino-Japanese Jiangyin Naval Battle. As the only water barrier of the Nanjing National Government to protect the capital, it was lost.

On December 10, the Japanese army launched a general attack, and on December 12, Tang Shengzhi issued a breakout and retreat order, and the resistance of the Chinese army collapsed. On December 13, the Japanese army invaded Nanjing and began the horrifying Nanjing Massacre that lasted for several weeks.

According to the relevant judgments and investigations of the Far East International Military Tribunal and the Nanjing Military Tribunal after the end of World War II, more than 300,000 Chinese civilians and prisoners of war were brutally killed by the Japanese army in the massacre, and Nanjing City was arson and robbed by the Japanese army.

One third of it was destroyed and property damage was countless.

Although he was familiar with historical materials, the pictures and texts in the newspaper still made Jiang Hailong feel excited and furious. After thinking, he decided that there were three days left before December 13, and he decided to do something for hundreds of thousands of compatriots who died in Nanjing.

Foreign journalists can still accuse the Japanese army of atrocities, so how can the Chinese be indifferent on the Nanjing Massacre anniversary!

He decided to launch a heavy blow to the Japanese army on December 13, code-named zero-point to comfort the spirit of the dead compatriots in heaven, make the Japanese pay a heavy price, and let the Chinese people remember history and not forget the national humiliation.

The Independent Brigade left a logistics regiment and a German-Armed Company in Huangshizhai. Three combat regiments and guard companies, and the spy companies were dispatched one after another at night, and lurked near their respective targets. The radio remained silent before 12 pm on December 12.

At midnight on December 13, more than a dozen companies of Liu Heizi's regiment launched a surprise attack on eight Japanese and puppet army artillery towers along the provincial capital. Mortars blew the artillery towers into ruins, and the soldiers would not be killed.

All the Japanese killed the gun towers, looted them all and set off a fire. When the Japanese troops arrived in the provincial capital, they only saw the remains of the gun towers that had been razed to the ground, and most of the bodies of the Japanese and puppet troops had been turned into ashes.

Li Ming led Li Tiezhu's second regiment to launch a zero-point attack on the Japanese airport. More than 100 mortars placed within two kilometers of the airport. The Type 92 infantry artillery blew the airport and the Japanese anti-aircraft artillery positions into the sky.

The smoke was rolling, and the oil depot and ammunition depot were detonated by dense artillery fire, connecting the airport and the ground buildings into a sea of fire. Chief of Staff Xu and the artillery observation post lurked near the airport, providing coordinates for the artillery to correct the bombing point. The Japanese airport garrison troops were bombed.

Fleeing in all directions, their various guns were useless to the artillery positions several kilometers away from the Independent Brigade. A large number of Japanese pilots who had been domineering and arrogant in Chinese airspace were blown away in their sleep, and a few pilots climbed onto the plane before

When I had time to start the engine and escape, the plane was either overturned by shells or ignited by a fire, burying the pilot in the plane.

The artillery soldiers of the Independent Brigade fired all the shells they carried and moved the cannons onto the truck and quickly retreated. The trucks were less loaded and left faster than when they came. When a Japanese wing arrived at the airport for reinforcements, the Independent Brigade was no longer visible.

.

Li Tiejun's third regiment collapsed several railway tunnels at midnight. Blowing up a railway tunnel is more difficult to repair than blowing up dozens of kilometers of railway tracks. An unlucky train driving in the tunnel was buried by a landslide and was escorted to a Japanese squad.

No one escaped. Another train that had just left the tunnel was blown away from the rails by huge air waves and overturned on the side of the roadbed. The soldiers from a battalion nearest to the place rushed up and threw the train inside.

Dozens of Japanese devils who were so terrible were killed and moved the supplies in the car to the side of the roadbed.

After Li Tiezhu's second regiment returned to the station, Erhuzi brought all the vehicles of the logistics regiment and the Independent Brigade to come over and transported the unloaded materials from the train onto the train.

The commander of the Erhuzi saw boxes of supplies piled up like mountains, as if he saw the wonderful scene of his half-empty logistics warehouse being filled again in the battle of Heihu Mountain. He smiled and directed the soldiers to pack and leave quickly, without any hesitation.

He used Li Hong's battalion for his own use. Li Hong did not dare to offend him, the God of Wealth Bodhisattva in the army. Under his threats and temptations, he honestly led the soldiers to be porters for the drivers of the logistics regiment.

The Japanese brigade leader at the station woke up from his dream. A while ago, the Japanese surrounded Heihu Mountain and his area was safe and sound. He had only been a few days of stable life. He heard that the tunnel was derailed by a train that was bombed, and he only jumped in a loincloth.

Then, a squadron of mobile troops and a brigade of puppet troops were urgently sent to join trucks, and the armored vehicles were dispatched quickly, hoping to annihilate the enemy troops attacking the railway.

Jiang Hailong led the elite troops of the Independent Brigade, the guard company and the German-Air Company of the Third Regiment were ambushed by the road that must be passed, waiting for the enemy to arrive. Jiang Hailong first wanted to destroy the Japanese army more in this zero-point operation.

The second is to buy time for the troops rushing to transport supplies.

The Japanese squadron leader saw a large crowd of people walking toward the truck from a distance from a telescope, carrying supplies to the carriage, and immediately ordered the troops to advance at full speed.

Unexpectedly, before the sound of the words came, several fire dragons rushed out of the roadside, entered the two armored vehicles in front and the bodies of several trucks behind. The 37mm war defense guns of the Independent Brigade blew the vehicles and crew into the air. Then they were as dense as hail.

The mortar shells exploded in the middle of the Japanese and puppet military convoys. The puppet army abandoned their cars in a hurry and fled. The Japanese on the surviving truck jumped out of the car and fought back. The armored vehicles turned their guns and fired at the side of the road.

The armored vehicles that opened fire became the target of the combat defense artillery attack power of the independent brigade. The shells easily penetrated the thin shell of the armored vehicle and blew it into a pile of scrap iron. The Japanese who hid behind the car were affected.

As soon as the cannon stopped, the spies threw out a round of molten bottles. The night combat molten bottles have both lethal and illuminating effects, and the raging fire allowed the enemy to see them at a glance.

With the order from Jiang Hailong, the soldiers of three companies rushed out of the fortifications like tigers, surrounded the enemy's convoy, and used light machine guns and submachine guns to kill the Japanese and puppet troops.

Bai Lu is not as good as a man, and runs in front of the team with a submachine gun, and the bullets rush towards the enemy like a whip. When she heard that Jiang Hailong wanted to use zero-point action to avenge the compatriots who died in the Nanjing Massacre, she firmly demanded to join the war. Jiang Hailong dissuaded him and did not

As a result, Li Zheng, the deputy commander of the guard company, followed her to protect her. At this time, Bai Lu was desperate and gritted her teeth and shot at the enemy in a standing posture, using her skills learned in the rigorous training of the Military Commission to the extreme, and fell to her gun

There were countless Japanese soldiers under the van. A Japanese poked his head out from the back of the car and pointed the 38th cover at her. Before he pulled the trigger, he was beaten to the face of Li Zheng with a shuttle. A Japanese machine gun deputy shooter had just passed the machine gunner

The machine gun was not standing firmly by the corpse, Bai Lu's eyes widened and shot him and beat him into a sieve.

Jiang Hailong led the German-Armed Company to kill the enemy troops who were trying to escape outside the encirclement. Wang Dali led the spy company, and Wu Qiang led the guard company soldiers to suppress the Japanese and puppet troops who were stubborn in the encirclement or who were hiding under the car and dared not look up.

Kill. Bai Lu jumped around in the crowd and traffic, and the bullets did not let go of any remaining enemies. Li Zheng, who was as strong as a cow, ran immediately after her panting.

More than half of the enemy convoys were killed or injured in artillery fire and incendiary bottle attacks. The remaining defeated generals could still resist the pursuit of the elite troops of the three independent brigade companies.

After an hour, the battlefield gradually became quiet. Except for dozens of puppet troops who jumped off their vehicles and fled in the dark during the first round of artillery fire, the rest of the puppet troops and a squadron of Japanese troops were killed.

Bai Lu shot the last bullet at the Japanese lying all over the ground, threw away the gun, knelt on both knees, took out the photo of his college classmate from his close pocket and burst into tears and said, "Sister, have you seen it in the sky? Sister, sister, do you see it in the sky? Sister

Revenge you on your murder day!" After loosening his hand, the photo fell on a burning Japanese corpse. Bai Lu looked at the familiar face in the photo and disappeared inch by inch, and finally turned into ashes, riding on a sudden gust of cold wind

It floated away like a butterfly, feeling limp and falling down depressedly.

Jiang Hailong, who was hurriedly called over by Li Zheng, quickly took action and hugged Bai Lu, who fainted from exhaustion and excessive sadness, tightly in his arms.
