Chapter 9 The Snake Eyebrow Copperfish

Under the bright yellow light, Zhang Zhu looked out from the black vest and saw reddish-brown lines from his right shoulder to his upper arm.

The fat man and the two were shocked, and the younger brother also looked over with frowning. Only Pan Zi, who didn't know the details, looked confused, and the Chen Pi, Ah Si and others beside him were even more confused.

Wu Xiaoxie seemed to suddenly think of something, "Is the thing you did after coming out of Qinling related to this?"

It was really strange to be stared at by a group of grown men. Zhang Zhuxun put on his clothes again without zipping up. When he heard Wu Xiaoxie's question, he paused and answered vaguely, "Absolutely."

"Where's that knife? Do you have it with you?" Wu Xiaoxie asked again.

He remembered that in the robbery cave of the undersea tomb last time, the strange red-brown flame patterns on Zhang Shuxun's body were related to the knife called Huanxi. That knife seemed to be able to open some kind of restriction on Zhang Shuxun's body.
Zhang Zhuoxun shook his head, "I brought the other one."

This was also suggested by the system. The system knew little about that weird knife. It was precisely because it was uncontrollable that it gave Zhang Chuxun two knives at the beginning. The skull knife was considered a replacement created by the system.

Zhang Shuxun himself was afraid that if he lost control and hit the thing behind the bronze door, he directly stored the knife in the bank safe.

Pan Zi looked at this, then that, and asked curiously: "What kind of riddles did you guys play?"

Zhang Shuxun and the other three said in unison, "Secret."

The little brother turned around and looked at the roof of the cave and continued to be in a daze.

Pan Zi said "Hey", laughed and scolded him as "stinky boy", and didn't ask any more questions.

A few people chatted for a while and then went back to their tents to rest. Chen Pi's team also set up a tent on the other side of the hot spring and left someone to keep watch.

﹉﹉﹉

On the second day, the wind and snow outside have not stopped yet.

Shunzi woke up belatedly, got out of the tent, and saw Zhang Zhuxun sitting in a crowd of people. He screamed in surprise, regained consciousness, rubbed his eyes to make sure he was not dazzled, and then said happily:

"Boss Yu, you're fine, I thought..."

Zhang Zhuoxun threw him a bar of chocolate, "What did you think? You thought I died..." Before he could finish his words, Wu Xiaoxie next to him gave him an elbow and stared at him warningly.

Zhang Shuxun said softly, "Okay, I understand."

Little Tianzhen was bitten by a snake once and was afraid of well ropes for ten years.

"Come here and have some porridge." Zhang Zhuxun served Shunzi a bowl of thick porridge and gave him some pickled radishes from a small porcelain jar.

Shunzi sat over and thanked him, and immediately started to eat ravenously. He also finished a large bag of beef jerky that Zhang Zhuxun threw for him to replenish his energy.

After eating and drinking, everyone stared at the murals on the wall and studied them.

Zhang Zhuoxun pointed to the cinnabar-colored powder that fell on the ground and said: "This mural originally had two layers. After I discovered it, I took off the useless upper layer."

When Monk Hua heard this, he seemed a bit dissatisfied with his unnecessary efforts and muttered something.

Zhang Zhuoxun sneered and threw him a picture, "Look, if you can see the flowers from above, you bald donkey, I will repaint it for you immediately."

This old thief really has no sense of cannibalism. He ate so much of his food like a pig, and yet he dared to force Lai Lai. If it weren't for the fact that he was still useful, Zhang Zhuxun would have killed him long ago.

Oh, hum, it’s a waste of food.

Monk Hua picked up the photo and compared it with the paintings on the wall while looking at it. In the end, he found that it was indeed a meaningless mural of the flying goddess and the singing and dancing. He smiled and was about to say something, but Zhang Zhuxun had already turned the page.

He walked up to Wu Xiaoxie with a blank stare.

Monk Hua was embarrassed and his face darkened.

Chen Pi's asi's eyes swept across Wu Xiaoxie and the others, finally stopping on Zhang Zhuxun, and narrowed his eyes slightly.

Upon seeing this, Monk Hua leaned into Chen Pi's ear and whispered something. Chen Pi'as shook his head slightly, "It's not yet time."

Monk Hua understood clearly and had already decided the outcome for Zhang Zhu in his heart.

Pan Zi noticed the movement here, walked over and patted Zhang Shuxun on the shoulder, avoiding the sight of the group, and whispered to comfort: "Don't be impulsive, these people are shady and the old man is very powerful. We can't do it for the time being."

We can't fight them. We need them as cannon fodder when we enter the Heavenly Palace. Then I will help you deal with them."

"I got it." Zhang Zhuoxun nodded in agreement, secretly pouting in his mind, how arrogant can a bunch of idiots be?

Monk Hua stared at the peeled-off strokes, but he could see some names, and asked in a whisper: "Do you know what this mural is about?"

Zhang Zhuxun, who was familiar with the original plot, rolled his eyes and pretended to be your mother. Even ten vegetable baskets cannot be filled by you.

Chen Pi Asi glanced coldly at Zhang Zhuxun and the others in front of the mural. Everyone could see the contempt in it. Seeing Wu Xiaoxie and the others' faces became ugly, he sneered and said to Monk Hua:

"Monk, tell them."

Monk Hua cleared his throat and said loudly: "This mural is about the war between the army of Emperor Wannu of the Eastern Xia and the Mongols. The Eastern Xia was defeated miserably and was massacred by the Mongols..."

Monk Hua talked a lot eloquently, but seeing that Wu Xiaoxie and the others didn't believe it, he sneered and took out something wrapped in white silk from his clothes, "I have more direct evidence."

As he spoke, he opened the white silk cloth, and what was wrapped inside turned out to be a snake-eyebrow copper fish!

Wu Xiaoxie's eyes widened and he was shocked. His whole body felt a little bad.

Zhang Zhuxun quickly patted him and asked him to calm down and listen to what the bald monk had to say.

"This kind of copper fish is an abnormal form of dragon. Our old man got this one by chance." Monk Hua said, "Look."

He walked to the side of the wind lantern, held the snake-browed copper fish and adjusted its direction. In an instant, the gold-plated fish scales reflected golden light, emitting many thin spots of light on the mural.

Monk Hua slowly rotated the snake-eyebrow copper fish, and the light spots changed accordingly, and gradually began to gather together to form several text-style spots.

"The secret lies here." Monk Hua said, "There are a total of forty-seven Jurchen characters hidden in the scales of this copper fish."

Wu Xiaoxie was dumbfounded. He took a breath quietly, suppressed the turmoil in his heart, calmed his voice and asked: "What is written on it?"

Hua Monkfu glanced around and was shocked to see Wu Xiaoxie and the others, and even more proud, "The information on this is incomplete, so I haven't deciphered part of it yet, but..."

Before he finished speaking, he was interrupted by a laugh, and Monk Hua looked over angrily.
