Chapter 26 Fake long fingers

 How big is this lake?

Logombo couldn't tell. Almost everything he could see was covered by the lake, and the surrounding lakeshore shoals were covered with white snow and ice.

These ice layers have spread to more than 200 meters above the lake surface. Only some water in the center of the lake has not yet frozen, showing a sparkling blue color, as if a shrunken sky is contained inside.

There is no ripple in the lake water under the sun, and the afterglow of the setting sun is projected on it, as if it has spread a layer of pale golden gauze on the green lake surface.

It took a long while before Luo Gongbu's attention came back to his senses from the extremely beautiful scene in front of him.

On the ice of the lake, a few Tibetans carrying green things were walking on it. Looking in the direction they were walking, they saw a very old and small wooden boat parked on the edge of the lake in the distance.<

Brother, they are in a cave that is opened from a cliff, and the ice slopes down directly to the shoal of the lake.

The two sat on the package and slid down carefully. The ice surface was not smooth and the friction was great. Plus the weight of the two people pressed on it. They were forced to stop not far after sliding and hid behind a raised rock.

Cover your body.

Luo Gongbu looked forward and saw that the Tibetans had already boarded the boat, and the boat was about to row away soon.

For some reason, Luo Gongbu subconsciously breathed a sigh of relief and said to his brother: "My boss, they have a boat and we can't get through."

The little brother didn't say anything, just looked at the other side of the lake, and quickly looked back, only to find that those people did not leave after getting on the wooden boat, but left one person beside the boat, the one wearing a blue Tibetan robe.

Leader.

The mask on the man's face glowed with a cold white light, and he was looking up at the direction where the two brothers were hiding.

Luo Gongbu felt nervous, what happened, they were discovered.

Sure enough, the next moment he saw the Tibetan who stayed outside the boat waving towards him. Judging from his movements and demeanor, he seemed to want them to pass.

Luo Gongbu didn't know what to do, so he looked at the younger brother and asked with his eyes what to do.

The little brother thought for a moment and didn't move at first, but the blue-robed Tibetan seemed a little anxious and his waving became wider.

The little brother moved his body slightly and seemed a little out of breath.

Luo Gongbu's heart suddenly lifted. He had actually been very entangled in his heart before, because this was the most likely person he had encountered in so many years. But the greater the hope, the greater the disappointment. The ten-year deadline was almost here.

It’s the end.

But the little brother didn't go out in the end. He waited patiently until the blue-robed Tibetan waited for at least twenty minutes, finally gave up, shook his head and got on the boat.

The oar swayed slowly, parting the water surface, creating golden water ripples, and the boat slowly rowed towards the center of the lake.

That side is the area with the strongest sunlight reflection, and the boat gradually drifts into the golden light and is no longer visible.

After half a cup of tea, Luo Gongbu was wondering why the younger brother hadn't moved since all those people had left. He couldn't help but come over and ask.

"Boss, why didn't you go out just now? Those people have noticed us long ago and they seem to be calling us over."

The younger brother shook his head and said calmly: "He's not waving to us."

Logombo was surprised, "Then what was he doing just now?"

"There are other things following them, but we didn't notice them at all." The little brother said.

Luo Gongbu suddenly became nervous and looked around suspiciously, "How do you know? There is no one else around here except us."

"It doesn't have to be a human being." The younger brother said indifferently. Just when Luo Gongbu was about to ask, he met the younger brother's cold eyes and swallowed his words instantly.

The little brother's expression was extremely calm, so calm that it was almost inhumane. He said, "You don't need to know."

Luo Gongbu choked, but did not dare to refute anything. From the previous chase, he had long realized that this young boss was not an ordinary person. At least ordinary people would not be as fast as him in the snow.

.

He glanced at the younger brother cautiously, followed the other person's line of sight to the side of the lake, and found that there was a huge black stone-like thing, skinny, and the stone was completely covered with snow, making it impossible to tell what it was.

What.

But what made Logonbu tremble a little was that the snow covering the surface of this suspected stone was gone, as if it had been wiped away by something.

Luo Gongbu's eyes widened suddenly. Could that thing be behind the stone?

He couldn't help but look at the little brother again. He had unconsciously put himself in a position of obedience, because the little brother was too calm and composed, as if there was nothing he couldn't solve.

"Under the snow, that thing has been moving under the snow and into the ice, otherwise I would have discovered it." After finishing speaking, the little brother got up and carried the package and walked towards the stone.

The rock was actually not too far away from their position. Luo Gombu quickly stood up, brushed off the snow residue on his buttocks, took a few steps forward and walked to the ice by the lake. He was about to catch up.

I went to bed, but suddenly I felt something was not right.

He turned around subconsciously, and a huge black shadow in front of him instantly pressed down on him. He opened his mouth wide, and he felt a warm and slippery feeling, as if there was a big and thick bag that put him completely in, and it hit his nostrils.

The salty smell enveloped his whole body.

The second before he lost consciousness, he saw the little brother running towards him at an extremely fast speed. The long stick wrapped in black cloth that the little brother had been carrying behind him also showed its true identity for the first time.
It turned out to be a knife.

At the end of the first volume, Zhang Zhuxun's consciousness returned and he stretched his neck, which was a little sore from sitting at his desk for a long time.

When I looked out the window, I realized that it was almost dark outside and Deren had not come back yet, but the lanterns under the eaves of the corridor outside the window were already lit.

Guessing that Deren would be back soon, Zhang Zhuxun organized the books and put them back in the carved wooden box. He carried the box out and saw a familiar little lama passing by with a lamp, so he told him that he planned to stay overnight.<

The little lama glanced at Deren's room, changed the lamp in his hand to the other hand, and led the way, "The master has arranged a room for the distinguished guests in advance, please follow me here."

Zhang Zhuoxun wondered if it was because it was too dark and the lights reflected the shadows. The little lama's figure seemed to be much stronger than in the daytime.

He followed the other party, walked down several floors from the other side along the corridor, and turned a few more turns.

He didn't meet any other lamas along the way. Zhang Zhuxun glanced behind the little lama's ears for a few times. When the lamp shadow passed by, there were a few fine lines there.

By chance, he arrived at the corner of the corridor. Zhang Zhuxun paused slightly, staggered two positions away from the other person, and fixed his eyes on the other person's right hand holding the lamp. His two fingers were obviously a little longer than ordinary people.

Zhang Zhuoxun smiled in his heart, it came so quickly.

But what does the other party want to convey to me by deliberately sending such a shocking stick?

Zhang Zhuoxun looked at his left hand. After arriving in Medog, he did not hide the obvious feature of long fingers. So the other party sent a small character to test him first?

The young lama in front noticed that Zhang Zhuxun had stopped, and then turned sideways and said: "Dear guest, your room is still in front, please follow me."

"This place is too remote. I like lively places." After Zhang Zhu said this, he turned around and walked back.

The little lama stood there stunned for a moment. When he saw Zhang Zhu turned around and walked away, he hurriedly wanted to stop him, so he went up and grabbed his shoulders.

Zhang Zhuoxun didn't even look back, he ducked sideways, held the box with one hand and leaned it against his waist, held his arm with his backhand, and twisted his arm hard, twisting his entire arm in a circle and turning it towards him.

Outside.

The little lama screamed in pain, realizing that he had been exposed, and immediately threw the lamp in his right hand towards Zhang Zhuxun's face.

Zhang Zhuoxun let go, took half a step back, raised his leg and kicked the fallen lantern in half. Wax water splashed everywhere. He calmed down a little and kicked the little lama on the chest.

It flew out and hit the pillar.

With a bang, the snow on the roof tiles and corridors was shaken up, and the snow slag fell down.

The lanterns on the eaves vibrated and the demons danced wildly in the night. A ray of cold light cut through the snow and went straight to Zhang Zhu's face door.

Zhang Zhuoxun's eyebrows moved slightly, and he was a little surprised that the other party could still stand up. He began to get serious.

The hunting knife that had been hanging on the waist was unsheathed and held against the opponent's short knife.

The moment the blades collided, the little lama felt a huge force coming from the point where the two knives met. His arm was violently shaken, and his whole arm was numb. The tiger's mouth immediately swelled and hurt, and the short knife in his hand was already about to be grasped.

I can’t stand it any longer.

Zhang Zhuoxun's second sword followed closely, leaving him no time to breathe.

The little lama hurriedly resisted the blow, and blood was already flowing from the cracked hole in the tiger's mouth. The short knife flew out of his hand, and he had no time to pick it up, so he could only retreat in embarrassment.

Zhang Zhuxun's third sword turned his wrist and hit his upper arm with the back of the sword.

There was a crisp sound, and an abnormal bend protruded from the edge of the humerus of the little lama's left arm. The entire arm could no longer be lifted.

There were light footsteps from one end of the corridor, and Deren slowly walked out from the darkness holding a lamp, looking calmly at this side with a peaceful face.

Zhang Zhuoxun glanced over there, kicked the young lama on the knee, causing him to lose his balance and fall. Then he spun half a circle and kicked the young lama in the abdomen. The little lama rolled out a few times and stopped just in time.

Under Deren's feet.

Deren lowered his eyes silently, looking at the little lama huddled in pain and fear at his feet, and seemed to sigh.

Zhang Zhuxun casually held a sword in his hand, put the sword back into the wooden sheath, and raised his chin at Deren, "Where are the people in your temple? Are they okay?"

Deren nodded slightly, "I have found it. It has been frozen in the firewood shed for a long time and is a little feverish. I just gave it a medicinal soup and fell asleep peacefully."

Zhang Zhuxun put the empty wooden box aside. When he felt something was wrong, he had already moved all the books in the box to the space.

I just don’t know if this person pretending to be a young lama is here for the things recorded by Deren in the past, or if he is here for himself.

He half-crouched down and reached out to touch behind the little lama's ear. The strange touch on his fingertips once again confirmed his suspicion. He took off the thin mask and took a closer look at the hapless loser in front of him.
Deren calmly moved the lamp closer and looked at the man.

Zhang Zhuxun looked at this unfamiliar foreign face and was not surprised at all. He said coldly to the foreigner in German: "Your fingers look really fake and ugly. The Zhang family's disguise skills are not as good as yours."

Bad."

The German almost vomited a mouthful of blood. Seeing that Zhang Zhuxun looked unkind and seemed to want to break his fingers, he immediately admitted honestly, "My boss gave me the fake face for the purpose of

There is a reasonable identity here to monitor you. I am just a subordinate at the lowest level and know only a little bit."

Zhang Shuxun looked back regretfully, "Who is your boss?"

"My name is Ruud Adenauer, and I am from Quiet Company." The German answered very cooperatively.

Quiet company?

Zhang Zhuoxun asked again, "When did you arrive in Medog?"

"We have always had a stronghold here, and the purpose is to observe people with long fingers. They will appear every once in a while. The whereabouts of other long fingers are very mysterious. Even the most powerful agents of our company often chase them.

"Rudd said honestly.

Zhang Zhuoxun raised his eyebrows when he heard this, "So you are targeting me?"

Rude nodded, "As long as your behavior is unique, our boss feels that you may be easier to get close to."

Zhang Zhuxun was speechless for a long time. What on earth gave the other party such an illusion? Wu Xie’s face is really inviting evil.

"Did your Anjing Company take over Jude Kao's last wish?" he asked, "I remember that the old guy seemed to have passed away a few months ago."

Rude nodded, "After Judekao passed away, the company was in chaos, and our leader bought the project of Judekao Company."

"Your leader?" Zhang Zhuxun wondered, "Who is your leader?"

"I don't know." Rude himself was confused. "Our group of agents stationed in Medog have never seen the leader. They just perform the tasks issued by the above and receive a basic salary when there are no tasks, so we never

Confused about this."

"But it seems that there are going to be some big moves from above recently. Two bosses came from the German headquarters, bringing with them a large number of weapons and people." Rude added silently.

Zhang Zhuxun looked at him suspiciously, "Why are you so honest and say everything? I suspect that what you just said was all lies to me."

Rude almost rolled his eyes. In order to save his life, he told everything he knew, and he even doubted him. How could this man's temperament be so different from his appearance?

He had no choice but to explain: "I'm just a small subordinate. Without clear instructions, saving my life is the first priority."

"What else do you know? If you don't want to be paralyzed in the hospital bed and live a life worse than death, just say it all at once." Zhang Zhuxun said lightly threateningly.

Rude thought about it carefully, and suddenly thought that some time before he went up the mountain, something strange seemed to have happened in the stronghold.

The two new bosses seemed to have caught someone, someone very important.
