Chapter VII Can't Accept Apprentices

"What did you two brats do? Didn't I tell you that you couldn't go out last night for fear of your life? You brought some disgusting things back and made the yard so smelly!"

Before I walked out of the main room, I saw a person standing in the dawn outside who could make me burst into tears at this moment. It was Uncle Wu.

After last night's bizarre experience, no one can make me feel more at ease than Uncle Wu, the makeup artist.

"Uncle Wu!"

I shouted excitedly, but before I could say anything, Uncle Wu strode into the room, glanced at me with an unkind expression, and then started looking for Zhang Wei.

I followed behind and whispered, "Zhang Wei fell asleep on the kang in the house!"

Uncle Wu didn't say anything and walked directly in. After a while, he heard him yelling loudly, "You two are seeking death, Zhang Wei, Zhang Wei..."

Accompanied by the sound of slaps, I didn't dare to go in. I thought that Uncle Wu used to have a good temper, but why is he so fierce now? Did he serve Zhang Wei a small pot of stew in the house or something?

Brother, I can't help you!

But after listening for a long time, I didn't hear Zhang Wei say a word. I didn't expect that this guy was so loyal. Even after being beaten, he didn't betray me.

I braved myself and stepped forward and shouted, "Uncle Wu, it was me last night..."

I just wanted to say that I had to go out and Zhang Wei risked his life to accompany Junzi and asked him to calm down. Unexpectedly, Uncle Wu's actions shocked me.

He directly got on the kang with one leg, stretched out his arm and felt the breath in front of Zhang Wei's nose, and also pulled Zhang Wei's eyelids to take a look.

He shouted with a stormy look on his face, "Ye Sanman, what did you two do to your death last night? Why is Zhang Wei's soul gone?"

This time I was frightened, not the kind of fear I experienced last night, but the fear of worry.

"Uncle Wu, what happened to Zhang Wei? He sat here after he came back, and soon he lay down and fell asleep!"

Uncle Wu was taking a long breath, probably trying to calm down his anger. Knowing that a layman like me couldn't explain anything, he could only calm down his temper, and stared at me word by word and asked, "You guys went out yesterday.

right?"

"Well, we went to grandpa's tomb."

Then he obediently told the story of the several frightening events last night as completely as possible.

After hearing this, Uncle Wu just looked serious on his face and waved to me, gesturing for me to go out with him for a look.

I followed Uncle Wu and didn't go far. I only walked out of the wide open courtyard door of my house and stood in front of it.

He pointed to the ground, and the cold air began to rise from behind me again.

A shovel, a wooden pole, and two flashlights were neatly placed under the wall next to the door.

And there is a greasy, dark fingerprint on each one.

It's like someone ate a pot of pork stewed vermicelli with their hands without washing it, and grabbed the broth directly on it, leaving behind it.

I immediately thought of the only possibility, which was the butcher woman with a strange face and several pots of strange meat in her cart.

Could it be that last night, in addition to the shameless guy who stretched his body into the courtyard to ask for shoes, the old woman also came and stood in front of the door watching the scene where we were scared to death inside!

This idea made me extremely shocked, and even more frightened.

In the situation last night, if she comes in again and interferes, I guarantee that Zhang Wei and I will not be able to wait for Uncle Wu, and we will be able to burp last night.

Uncle Wu only glanced at me with a look of horror on his face. Without saying anything, he went directly into the courtyard, dragged out a bundle of firewood from the woodshed, dragged those few things to an open space farther away, and lit a fire directly.

The old house still burns firewood, and these dry firewood are convenient. The fire ignited quickly. Uncle Wu stepped aside and told me, "Go in and grab the bundle of firewood."

I didn't dare to delay, I ran directly in and hugged another bundle. Uncle Wu signaled to throw it directly into the fire.

When I threw it, the burning dust below was kicked up, and it also brought up a fishy and unpleasant smell, which was very similar to the smell of the meat yesterday.

"Cough cough cough..." I was so choked that I ducked aside and coughed violently, choking my nose and tears. The only good thing was that I didn't vomit.

I haven't eaten for three or four meals in a row and still don't feel hungry at all.

Uncle Wu, who had been silent for a long time, finally spoke. He stood behind me and held the cigarette pot in his hand without lighting it. He just held it in his mouth, "It doesn't smell good. The more evil the thing is, the stronger the smell. Now I know

Why am I in a hurry to train you?"

I was still coughing and could only nod in an educated manner, looking at the pile of burning flames in front of me and suppressing my nausea.

Various questions slowly arise in my mind, and I want to get answers.

Finally able to speak, I wiped away my tears and asked Uncle Wu, "Uncle, what's wrong with Zhang Wei? Is there something wrong?"

Uncle Wu snorted angrily, "You two little bastards, if you don't listen when I tell you not to go out, Zhang Wei's personal belongings were taken away, and his soul was suppressed."

We both took one last look at the fire and turned back to the hospital.

Zhang Wei was still lying on the kang in the back room, uncertain whether he was alive or dead. Uncle Wu took me and sat in front of my grandfather's tomb.

He habitually lit incense and inserted it into the incense burner. He looked at the fruits I placed on the table and sat on the chair. "You little girl is really suitable for eating the food of the dead. You are not afraid of the evil, so you are good."

A pair of Nine Thunders, Yang Fires and White Tigers."

Uncle Wu's words made me confused for a while. Why are you talking about me? Shouldn't I be talking about how to save Zhang Wei?

Obviously, this uncle was not too anxious, but asked me calmly, "Sanman, your grandfather said he wanted you to join the yin and yang industry and be a makeup artist. He asked me to take care of you before he died. Now I ask you, will you be a makeup artist for a long time?"

Do you dare to deal with those messy and dead people yesterday?"

Zhang Wei was still lying in the room, his soul suppressed because of me. I didn’t know how long I would survive, and I was still carrying bad debts. To be honest, I had reached the point where I couldn’t refuse, let alone say I didn’t dare.

I could only suppress the fear in my heart and said bravely, "Uncle Wu, I dare you to teach me."

This is my life.

After saying that, I will kneel down to Uncle Wu, kowtow and worship.

I had never worshiped a master before, I only knew how to kowtow and serve tea, but now I have nothing at home except the ready-made knees.

Uncle Wu was quick and grabbed my arm, squeezing me tightly to prevent me from kneeling down, "You kid, just talk when you say it. Why are you kneeling randomly? You knocked it down because you want to make Uncle Wu live less."

How many years?"

Is this because Uncle Wu refuses to accept me?

Before I could ask questions, Uncle Wu pulled me aside and continued, "I can teach you, but I can't accept you as my disciple. I haven't fully memorized the three words "make-up artist" myself, and I'm not qualified to teach others.

You just work with me and share half of the wedding money with you, Sanman, what do you think of this?"

I didn't expect that I could get money for doing this, so I felt a little better, and I didn't ask Uncle Wu what he meant by not memorizing the word makeup artist.

Regardless of whether I am a disciple or not, it is better to teach me than to blindly guess and blindly kill a mouse on my own.

"I listen to Uncle Wu."

Uncle Wu grinned, "Do you all listen to me? That's easy. Now Zhang Wei's affairs depend on you."
