Chapter 419 Warm Invitation

Mu Wan brought a voice recorder, and listening to her calm explanation, she immediately admired the woman in front of her.

"Ms. Gard, could you please talk about your life?" She thought of John just now, a very ordinary-looking man with a slightly stout body and gentle gaze, which was completely incompatible with the temperament of this fierce female finance minister.

.

"Aren't you curious about John?" Christina said as if she knew what she was going to ask.

"Would you like to talk? It's okay if you find it inconvenient." Mu Wan said hurriedly.

"There's nothing I don't want to say. John is an alumnus of mine. He is now a teacher at Champell Middle School. When he doesn't have many classes, he repairs the flower garden." Christina explained simply.

Mu Wan was extremely surprised, but did not answer.

"Isn't it surprising that he and I took two completely opposite paths. He chose to be a teacher, and I chose to be a lawyer." Christina continued, "Later, we had our first daughter, too.

He's responsible for raising the children."

"He must be a great man." A man who is willing to live behind a woman also needs courage.

"Yes, he prefers to be quiet, while I like to go to lively places." Christina said, "He has also suffered a lot of criticism. When I ran for Congress, my relationship with him was magnified and attacked.

It even affected his work at school. But he never complained, and he treated it with a normal heart that I admired."

Mu Wan was also in awe of John for a moment. The lady in front of her was constantly chasing the peak of her career, while her man stood firm and gave her a safe home.

She really likes the woman in front of her. She is very frank and reveals her family and career without any scruples.

Before I knew it, three hours had passed.

"After talking so much about me, why don't I talk about you?"

"I?"

Mu Wan was slightly startled: "What can I say?"

Having said this, she turned off the recorder.

"For example, you and Yang." Christina's eyes flashed with a strange look, "The Yang I know is a very charming oriental man. He has far-reaching vision, unique knowledge and humor. He can please ladies very much."

He has always had a good time among women, and she knows it very well.

"I'm afraid I'm still some distance away from being a lady."

"So, you don't love him?"

Such a direct question, Mu Wan couldn't answer it for a while. She only felt bitter, thinking that it would be better if she really could not love her.

"I have never seen Yang treat a woman so carefully. After the forum that day, he specifically asked me to be interviewed by you. For a person like Yang, who distinguishes between public and private matters, I am a partner to him.

He will also be a subordinate of the company. If it weren't for someone special, he wouldn't talk to me."

When she said this, Mu Wan became a little embarrassed.

"You also have a very beautiful child." Christina saw her strange expression and knew that she was not completely emotionless. "Yang is a good man."

"He is indeed." Mu Wan sighed.

"Okay, this is your private matter, but a man like Yang has become a big hit in the British upper class. Many ladies and ladies want to get to know him. If you don't hold on tight, he will run away." Christina

replied.

Mu Wan was in a very complicated mood and still didn't answer.

"It's lunch time, and I invited a guest, you won't mind, right?" Christina said meaningfully.

"How could it be?" She was very happy to know such an amazing woman.

When they went downstairs, they saw Wen Jinyang holding Little Tiger and setting the table with John. When they saw them coming down, he smiled at her downstairs.

Mu Wan really didn't expect that the friend Christina invited would be him, so she went down slowly.

John's lunch has been prepared, a large cheese pizza with onions, potatoes, beef and peas on top. It looks very tempting. There is grilled bacon and a large pot of vegetable soup on the side. It is fried and crispy.

chicken legs, lobster, scallops and vegetable salad in a glass bowl.

"It feels so rich." It's a very authentic European family Western food. John is obviously a master of cooking, and everything looks very tempting.

He also baked a cake for dessert, and Wen Jinyang brought champagne.

"I was planning to call you." John said to Christina when he brought out the cake, "We can continue chatting in the afternoon and eat first."

Mu Wan naturally had no objection. Seeing that his son was sitting neatly next to his father, John gave him a small fork and cut a small piece of pizza for him. He started eating with a little difficulty.

"We usually don't have many guests, but today it's rare that it's so lively and there's such a cute child." John looked down at the little tiger, "This is a cute child."

"It's us who disturbed us." Her "we" naturally included Wen Jinyang, and she didn't even notice it herself.

"It's so rare today, let's have a drink first." Wen Jinyang said, pouring a glass of wine for each of them.

"Dad, I want to drink too." Little Tiger said hurriedly when he saw that everyone had such beautiful glasses and the color of the champagne poured out was also beautiful.

"Children are not allowed to drink." Mu Wan put the juice in his hand, "Just drink the juice."

"It doesn't matter, the degree is very low, just drink a little!" Wen Jinyang didn't care and poured a glass for his son.

Mu Wan glanced at him and had no choice but to say nothing.

Christina and John smiled at each other and toasted together.

"If you don't mind, I'll invite you to my place another day. I can cook you an authentic Chinese meal." This is called coming and going, Mu Wan said.

"Okay!" John was very interested in Chinese food,

"When will Ms. Gard be free?" Seeing John's interest, Mu Wan immediately decided on the time to prevent this appointment from becoming a courtesy.

"Call me Christina!" Christina smiled, "How about this weekend."

"That's great." Mu Wan rarely invites guests to eat at home, so she is quite happy.

Wen Jinyang was in a good mood listening to it, especially seeing how happy Mu Wan was. Of course he was very happy.

"I have been to China several times. Chinese people like to eat a very special kind of food." Christina said, "There is a big stove, and they put the food in and cook it, and it is steaming hot."

"Then hot pot." It happens to be her favorite.

"Hot pot?" Christina smiled, "What a special name."

"Why don't I treat you to hot pot this weekend? We can have curry hot pot and make a traditional Chinese hot pot." Mu Wan had eaten curry hot pot here before and she really didn't dare to compliment her.
