Lingming sweated like rain, and there was a little panic on his face. He didn't dare to be as arrogant as before. He also knew that Qin Chen had real materials and did not dare to underestimate him anymore.
"If you can answer the last question, I will be willing to give up the disadvantage and admit that you, the uncle, will never complain in the future." He lost to Qin Chen twice in a row, and Lingming's face could not be held back. It was a plea to make such a bold statement at this time.
"You said." Qin Chen nodded, still calm and composed, his mood had changed, without joy or sorrow, and was unmoved.
"You have answered the first two questions correctly. I want to ask a more advanced question. What is the Tao?" Lingming used all his skills. If Qin Chen could answer this question correctly, then he would have no choice but to be at a disadvantage.
After hearing this question, the monks were also thinking about what the great way is. This is clearly an unsolvable problem. There are demons, humans, ghosts, and there are millions of ways in the world. How can we explain it clearly?
"The way is in the dirt." Qin Chen replied immediately without thinking, with a smile on his lips.
"It's on the dirt? You're simply..." After hearing this, Lingming wanted to curse again, but then he thought that Qin Chen had been better than him by this unexpected statement several times, and this time it was probably the same. He did not dare to act rashly, and suddenly stopped talking to his mouth, and asked, "How do you say this?"
"In the past, the Buddha was discussing Taoism on Lingshan Mountain. Everyone asked the Dharma. The Buddha didn't say anything and picked up a golden brahma flower. The disciples were puzzled, but only the Venerable Kashyapa smiled, but he realized the Tao. Only a flower could understand the Tao. It can be seen that "Tao" is just an ordinary thing. Since this is the case, there is Tao everywhere. Why can't there be Tao in dirt?" Qin Chen said with a faint smile. He knew that Lingming's intentions were used, and Tao was divided into tens of millions, and he could not explain it one by one. If he chose one by one, he would be wrong no matter what.
Since this is the case, Qin Chen summarized the Tao in the world with the omnipresence of Tao. Venerable Kashyapa could realize the Tao from a flower, and he understood the great wisdom of the Buddha.
Everyone felt that it was reasonable, which came from the great wisdom of the Buddha. There is Tao everywhere in the world, and everything in the world is born in Tao.
Lingming was as stupid as a wooden chicken, without saying a word. After a long time, he said dejectedly: "I lost, you are more proficient in Buddhism than me."
Suddenly, a burst of warm applause rang out here. All the monks were impressed by Qin Chen's wit and erudition, and dared not underestimate him anymore.
Even the spiritual wisdom who had practiced Buddhism for more than tens of thousands of years was inferior to that of it, which means that Qin Chen's understanding of Buddhism is far better than that of spiritual wisdom. All monks were shocked. Qin Chen was still so young that he had such attainments in Buddhism and would become a great man in the future.
But they didn't know that Qin Chen II was a human being, with insight into the civilizations of the two worlds and combined them into one, so his vision was naturally unique.
"Since you took the initiative to admit defeat, and according to the bet just now, you promised to serve you, Master Kong Jue, so would you complain?" Emperor Kuang Wu also sneered, so it was impossible for him to bypass Lingming like this.
"Don't make fun of the uncle. If the disciple has an appointment first, he will naturally not dare to break his promise. In the future, he will definitely serve Uncle Kongjue in front of the saddle and horse. " Lingming lost this time and was convinced. Fortunately, he is upright, one is one, two is two, and he will definitely not break his promise when he is about to agree, so there is no complaint.
"Do you know why you lost?" The big Buddha's body shone with colorful glass light, and his energy and energy were in harmony with the great way, solemn and sacred.
"I don't know, please ask my master for advice." Lingming knelt down and asked for advice, with a humble attitude, and wanted to know why he lost.
"You are too obsessed with the knowledge in the scriptures and do not know how to adapt. Although you are well-versed in Buddhism, you cannot understand the true meaning of it. You need to know that the three thousand worlds are infinite, and you become Buddhas everywhere, and everything is the incarnation of Buddha. This is more thorough than what you have understood. Can you admit it?" The five aggregates of the Buddha are empty, with no sorrow or joy on his face, and his voice is like a bell.
"Disciple admits it." Lingming was ashamed, bowed his head and bowed his head. He said that he had practiced Buddhism for tens of thousands of years, but his understanding of Buddhism had stopped being one-sided and could not understand the truth. At the same time, he admired Qin Chen's young age, but his understanding of Buddhism was far better than him.
"Since you have admitted defeat, you will not have any objections in the future. Otherwise, even if you are betrayal, my Buddhist will not keep you." The big Buddha looked solemn and became angry because Lingming was offended by the superiors. However, it was not revealed at that time. Now Qin Chen has won Lingming with a strong face and has given him some punishment. He should give Lingming some punishment.
"Disciples dare not, they must fulfill their promises and serve Master Kongjue in the future and ask him for teaching Buddhism." Lingming was completely convinced and was willing to serve Qin Chen, the uncle Qin Chen in the future. Moreover, the profoundness that Qin Chen showed today also made him admire him, so he also wanted to discuss Buddhism with Qin Chen in the future.
Qin Chen's face was strange. He was called the uncle by a great sage who had lived for more than 100,000 years. In the future, he could still order him as he pleased. Qin Chen was inevitably a little nervous.
"Since that's the case, you two go to get a hundred sticks. As monks, you are so brave to win, which is equivalent to breaking the precepts. Even if this matter is exposed, if anyone has any objections, you can raise it."
Everyone looked at each other and had no idea. Although most of them were dissatisfied, it was true that Qin Chen was proficient in Buddhism, and they had no confidence to surpass him.
The holy monks of the Kong generation all respected the will of the Great Buddha of the Beard and did not dare to complain at all. Since then, Qin Chen has been on par with many holy monks and is communicating with his fellow disciples.
"Master, I don't understand. It's clear that you asked me to bet against him. Why did the disciples also get punished?" Qin Chen felt very puzzled and felt that he had been cheated by the Big Beard Buddha.
Hearing this, the Big Buddha smiled meaningfully and said to everyone: "In the past, there was a woodcutter in the wilderness. He was kind and generous, often kind to others, willing to sacrifice himself, but he was poor and destitute. After giving money to others, he himself was in a state of dismay. His wife often complained about him, and eventually left him because of this. The woodcutter was very sad, and he thought to himself... Is there anything wrong with compassion?"
"That's right, this is a great virtue and blessing. This woodcutter is compassionate and sacrifices himself for others, even true, good and beautiful." Someone immediately agreed.
Qin Chen frowned slightly, not knowing what the big Buddha meant, so he did not answer immediately, but listened humbly.
"Since that's right, he is a great master, why did his wife give up him?" asked Big Buddha with a smile.
"this..."
The monks looked at each other, not knowing how to answer. Although this woodcutter is righteous and sacrifices himself for others, it is not right to ignore his wife and children.
"His wife is dull and cannot understand that she has great righteousness, but this is the norm for sentient beings. Most of them are selfish desires and ignore the lives and death of others. The woodcutter and his wife are not wrong. His wife just cannot understand that she has great righteousness." Lingming then said that he still has some foundations in Buddhism, and he immediately understood the meaning of the Great Buddha of the Beard and the Male Buddha.
The big Buddha nodded in praise and smiled, and continued, "The woodcutter was very angry and vowed not to be kind to others in the future. He went through thousands of mountains and rivers and came to this Lingshan Mountain and asked the Buddha to give him the wonderful art of making money. He did not want to be poor anymore. However, the Buddha pointed to the Lingtan on the side of the mountain and said to him: "The secret of making money is hidden in the Lingtan. You go and find it."
The woodcutter jumped into Lingtan with joy, but found that there was nothing but pebbles and sand and mud, and he almost drowned. He was very angry when he got ashore and asked the Buddha: "Why did you lie to me that there is a secret to making money in Lingtan? I almost drowned, and it was clear that it was empty inside."
The Buddha laughed and said, "Why do you believe me? Isn't the Buddha right?" After hearing this, the woodcutter realized his great enlightenment and felt ashamed. After bowing again and again, he left Lingshan. Do you know what the Buddha meant?"
The monks were still confused. The words of the Great Buddha of the Soul and the Great Buddha were too profound and they could not understand. At this time, even the two personal disciples who were accompanied by the Great Buddha of the Soul and the Great Buddha of the Soul and the Great Buddha of the Soul were silent and secretly pondered their meaning.
However, after hearing this, Qin Chen laughed, prostrated himself, and said, "I was stupid before and did not know the master's intention. Now I have achieved great enlightenment and received teachings."
All the monks were shocked, and their eyes were all staring at Qin Chen. None of them understood why this meant, but Qin Chen knew first that he was a great wisdom!
"Oh? Let's talk about it, what's the point of being a teacher?" The more you look at the big Buddha, Qin Chen, the youngest disciple, liked him. His talent and intelligence were, and some disciples who had followed him for hundreds of thousands of years could not fully understand his way, but Qin Chen could understand.
Today, Qin Chen and Lingming discussed the Dharma. Qin Chen let him see Qin Chen's understanding of learning from one example and his spirituality of knowing everything. The Buddha felt very comforted in his heart and felt that there was someone in the future.
"Master wants to use this allusion to tell my disciple that even if you are Master, what you say is not entirely true. The disciple should not blindly obey your arrangements. He should follow his original intention and refuse when Master you just instigated me to discuss the law with Lingming." Qin Chen said in a leisurely manner, and his understanding was thorough.
"Master (Master) has great wisdom!"
The monks were stunned as if they were dumbfounded by Qin Chen. Only then did they learn what the Buddha said was saying. They all knelt down, bowed down, bowed down, folded their hands together, and had a pious attitude.
"The one who has great wisdom is not a teacher, but a Buddha. The Buddha said to the woodcutter that day, so that he could be happy by following his original heart and doing kindness to others. Otherwise, even if he gets tens of taels of gold, he would not know how to be happy." The Great Buddha of Soomei did not dare to seek credit, but was teaching his disciples based on the Buddha's deeds. He glanced at Qin Chen deeply and said, "You have extraordinary insights and should have your own opinions. Being a teacher is just to guide you in your practice, and you have to walk your own path."
"Disciple understand!" Qin Chen said in a deep voice, bowing his head and kneeling down, his heart was shocked, and he was very excited. He was not autocratic or arbitrary. This was a good teacher.
"Master, how about the woodcutter later?" Someone asked if he wanted to know the funeral.
"He followed his original intention and continued to be kind to others. In the midst of disaster, he happened to save a prominent family and received his kindness. He was given the title of marquis and was given a title to be a marquis, and he was able to enjoy his life. Later, he married and had children. His wife was virtuous and good, and he was kind to him. His son was filial and well-educated, so he enjoyed his life."
