Chapter 8 Arrangement

"Don't worry, tell me all the information and we will have a decisive battle tonight." Catherine comforted John with a confident look on her face.

Renn on the side frowned when he heard this.

He knew that the "Red Witch" Claire was very powerful, and he didn't think that he and Catherine alone could defeat her.

But Catherine seems confident, well...her breasts are relatively big.

John sighed and told what happened next. This was a dream he had in the days when he was possessed by the evil spirit.

This part is a bit scary.

After moving to Billy Street, the painter Igor and his wife Claire made an agreement not to allow witches to harm people.

She agreed.

The two were very much in love and lived like this for three years.

Because Claire is the Scarlet Witch (fourth level), a high-level transcendent, and she has undergone physical transformation on herself, so she was unable to get pregnant.

However, although the two have no children, they still live a very happy and sweet life.

The witch Claire works hard to play the role of a virtuous wife,

After she stopped developing various potions and alchemy products, she began to learn cooking. The painter Igor also gave up his dream of becoming a famous painter.

After Igor finished painting a self-portrait, he bid farewell to his career as a street painter.

He went to school to become an art teacher and had a stable job.

Unforeseen circumstances occurred, and this ordinary and sweet life was finally shattered. One day, the painter had a car accident.

He was hit by a steam locomotive and there was a break in the story.

When the scene appeared again, it was in a hall, which was very luxuriously decorated.

The first thing that catches the eye is a lighting hanging from the ceiling on a chain - an urn-shaped chandelier made of glass produced in the Kingdom of Bohemia.

And the fireplace made of marble from the island of Hierna (one of the Northern Islands).

In the picture, "he" stood up, or floated.

"He" saw a pale face underneath him. It was a corpse. He had a handsome face, blond curly hair, and closed eyes. He looked like he was in his thirties.

The corpse was wearing a small blue suit, no tie, and a white shirt underneath.

That is the corpse of the painter Igor.

And the painter was enshrined, with great skill, in his usual clothes, as if he had just fallen asleep.

On the ground is a complicated six-pointed star witch formation, carved out of blood.

The scarlet blood flows slowly, exuding a strange red light.

You can see that there are several corpses in the corner next to the fireplace, including adults and children. They seem to be a family.

They were all mummies, with palms like dead branches, deformed bodies, and extremely distorted expressions on their faces. It could also be seen from their gorgeous clothes that they were from a wealthy family.

As "he" stood up, a dark wind roared in the room.

There was lightning and thunder outside, and the chandelier flickered and then went out quickly.

The room went dark, and then a red light came on. Claire, the "Red Witch", was wearing a black dress and standing next to the corpse.

She looked crazy, and a bloody glow enveloped her.

Pieces of semi-material petals unfolded from the blood ring behind the witch, like a blooming blood lotus!

Countless black and red chains extended from the flower buds, wrapping around "him".

The witch Claire picked up a painting, which was a self-portrait by the artist. The black and red chains pulled "him" into the painting, and she could be heard muttering to herself:

"We will never separate. Even if you become a ghost, I will always be with you!"

As soon as the picture goes dark, the dream ends.

In the living room, John was dripping with cold sweat and licked his dry lips:

"I suspect that I dreamed of the painter's memory. That woman was so crazy that she killed all the family members who killed her husband, even the children!

Claire turned her dead husband into a ghost!"

Ren and Catherine looked at each other, and he said:

"Mr. John, don't go out today, things will come to an end soon!"

After getting the information, the two people quickly left here.

There is not much time left. Wren and Catherine don't know whether the witch Claire is spying on John. They may have alerted the snake and must act immediately.

Catherine took Ren to a deserted park outside Billy Street.

There are many dusty stone tables and chairs inside, as well as broken sculptures with peeling paint.

The two of them stood under an overgrown maple tree, and Ren lowered his voice and said:

"Catherine, are you sure the two of us can kill her? Claire is a fourth-level witch!

The Red Witch seems to have offended the Church of Light.

Why don't we go tell the people in the church the news and let Paladin Michelle come up, and we'll raid the formation on the side, and then we can just shout a few times while eating popcorn."

Catherine stretched out her hand to straighten her bangs, her eyes a little sly:

"It's not necessary. Michel, the 'Holy White Sword', is not a Faloran. Three years have passed and he has already left here.

If I guess correctly, Claire is very weak now and may not be able to exert the combat power of the fourth-level Scarlet Witch."

"But a skinny camel is bigger than a horse! We may be able to protect ourselves, but it's probably unrealistic to kill her.

I think it’s better to tell the people in the church, and it’s safer to do it together.” Renn shook his head at Catherine and insisted on asking others to go together to beat up the Red Witch.

It would be too reckless for two level three demon hunters to fight a level four witch.

It's better to call a few more people and let everyone go shoulder to shoulder. Anyway, this mission cannot be solved by the third-level "Black Hunter".

Cross-level challenges are actually very difficult. Under normal circumstances, the chance of winning is not great, and this becomes even more so in the later stages.

Catherine gritted her silver teeth and stamped her foot bitterly:

"Ren, why are you so timid!"

"This is not cowardice, this is following one's heart! Catherine... you are not a master demon hunter, so what? Do you think you are a genius and can challenge yourself to a higher level?!

No problem, why don't you go up and fight with her, and I'll cheer you on from the side?"

Ren rolled his eyes and teased, "Catherine, this bitch, is too inflated."

There was a huff on her pretty face, and Catherine's chest rose and fell for a while before she calmed down:

Renn was confused and looked a little weird:

"Catherine, you are at the third level now, but you are not much better than me, are you? How can you advance to the fourth level so quickly?"

"Hmph, you don't have to worry about this! Sister, I have my own way. As long as you are willing to help, I can make you stronger quickly without any side effects!"

Hearing that he could become stronger quickly, Ren was a little excited:

"Catherine, what are you going to do? If you can come up with a practical plan, I don't mind taking the risk."

His current strength is neither up to nor down, which is a bit embarrassing.

"It's very simple. We just need to wait here and wait. I discovered a fatal weakness in Claire. We can..." Catherine told him the detailed plan.

A quarter of an hour later.

Ren was "awed" and looked at her with admiration: "I take back my previous opinion of you. You have big breasts, but you have a brain!"

Unable to bear it, Catherine stretched out her hand and grabbed Ren's ear.

She shouted loudly in his ear: "Kid, do you want to piss me off to death and inherit my demon hunting suit?"

After slapping her hand away, Ren took a few steps back with a look of disgust on his face:

"I hope you didn't lie to me. There is really a way to become stronger quickly. I always feel like you are fooling me. If it doesn't work..."

"If it doesn't work, I can give you 6 bottles of natural source!" Catherine glared at him menacingly.

Ren was speechless, this damn rich woman really wanted to rob her!

It was already dusk at this time, the sunset glow on the horizon dyed half of the sky red, the wind blew through the forest tops, and the leaves rustled.

The plan was finalized and there was no sloppiness between the two. Catherine and Renn split into two groups and prepared to set up the stage.

Renn went to the post office first and spent a sum of money to ask a certain postman to deliver a letter to Room 7A, Building E, Billy Street. It must be delivered on time at 8 o'clock tonight.

Then Ren returned to this deserted park and stood in the small central square.

He pulled out the Demon Hunting Style 7 long sword, fighting energy condensed in the blade, and the silver-white blade glowed with a cold metallic light.

‘Soul Blade·Crescent Moon’

The snow-white sword light flashed past, and the sword light flashed across the central square in the abandoned small park, as if blown by a strong wind, and the dust on the ground spread to all directions.

"Ka... Kacha~"

Trees were broken in response, and many shrubs seemed to have been pruned, becoming shorter.

Ren retracted his long knife and swept around.

Time passed by, it was getting late, the breeze was blowing, and Catherine arrived late.

She just went to two places, the Dell Portrait Gallery and the Witcher Association branch.

Putting the self-portrait in the center of the small square, she greeted Ren.

Let him use a long knife to poke holes in the floor tiles in an orderly manner, while Catherine took off the package from her back and buried pieces of black crystal engraved with the warlock's runes.

Moreover, she also took out a glass jar, which contained some viscous liquid that glowed with red, blue and yellow fluorescence.

She took out a special black quill pen and began to draw some simple geometric shapes on the light field.

Graphics such as six-pointed stars, rectangles, and triangles gradually formed a complex pattern.

Catherine stretched out her hand, and the crimson spiritual energy slowly flowed into the complicated patterns, which gradually faded and faded.

After doing all this, she and Ren retreated to the woods nearby.

The two began to inspect the equipment.

Renn pressed seven silver-white demon-hunting bullets engraved with sacred texts into the magazine, which was the maximum ammunition capacity, and inserted the magazine into the butt of the gun while adjusting the sight.

He has strong night vision ability, and most extraordinary people's vision is different from ordinary people.

Catherine also pulled out the demon hunting pistol on her left leather pants. Her gun seemed to have been modified. The gun body was 37.4 centimeters long and had several rose patterns on it.

She took out three silver-plated demon hunting bullets, and loaded them with three golden translucent special bullets from her burgundy windbreaker.

The first four rounds are normal hunting bullets, and the last three rounds are "surprise" rounds.

Tonight the moon is shrouded in thin clouds and the stars are dim.

The evening wind blew Ren's black hair. He and Catherine looked at each other and opened the safety of the hunting pistol at the same time.

"Catherine, I hope your preparation is reliable. I don't want to be killed by that witch."

"Don't worry, little boy. My sister is very reliable. Also, the Red Witch is very beautiful. Don't be soft-hearted."

"Haha." Renn, who was able to destroy flowers without any pressure, didn't bother to explain.

The two squatted down in the grass, preparing to face the powerful enemy.
