Chapter 198: Walking peacefully

The cool night breeze blew Matt's hair, and he stopped rushing forward.

Staring at the smiling Sigurd and the embarrassed Black Fox in front of him, Matt remained silent.

Sigur shook the mace in his hand, showed a fatherly smile, and grinned: "Grandson, what's wrong? Are you not happy to see grandpa?"

Matt glanced at his half-broken, bloody right hand. No one knew how big his psychological shadow was at this moment.

There was also a hideous blood mark on his left arm. Enduring the pain, Matt pulled out the only dagger on his body.

As for the Force firearm, it was dropped behind him when he was attacked by Bessie. As a third-level [Light Riding Gunner], he was at the end of his rope.

Ta─ta─ta─

To make matters worse, with the sound of leather boots stepping on the bluestone tiles, Bessie stood behind Matt.

Glancing back at the wet blood on her black leather jacket, Matt knew that Scarface Pearl was probably in serious trouble.

Bessie was holding a sharp scimitar stained with blood, her long legs were folded together, and her brown pupils were looking at Matt.

She raised a Force firearm in her hand and said in a clear voice: "Do you need me to return the gun to you?

Don't be embarrassed to speak, if a man doesn't have a gun, he can't stab someone, and he can't reach the stomach in one step."

Matt's face was ugly, and he held the short dagger tightly in his hand, but this did not give him much sense of security.

His pupils turned and he looked left and right, hoping to find a glimmer of hope, but the front and rear were blocked by enemies.

To the left was an empty wasteland without any cover. He was seriously injured and exhausted, and he couldn't escape far.

On the right, he could retreat into the town in a roundabout way, and there might be a glimmer of hope for him, just when he was ready to take action.

Bill was walking from the right carrying a double-edged axe, and an owl with dark brown feathers stopped on his shoulder.

This owl has very special eyes, with dark golden pupils that emit a faint light.

The golden-eyed owl is a relatively rare beast and the most common combination of the [Animal Tamer] profession.

"That's it." Matt said with a hoarse voice and a very bitter tone.

He finally understood why the enemy could always find his position accurately and intercept him tonight.

At first he thought Bessie was secretly following him, but after Per stopped her, he was still blocked by Bill.

Matt was familiar with the terrain and did not walk in a straight line when escaping, but Bill and the others were more skilled and were well prepared.

Among Bill's subordinates, Bessie is the best and has reached the expert level, followed by Leo and Jackson.

Leo is a second-level peak [Wind Controlling Gunner], even stronger than Garcia, while Jackson is a [Beast Tamer] professional.

"Woof woof!"

A barking sound came from the alley, and Jackson walked behind Sigg with a black-haired hound.

"You guys are so cruel!" Matt said with a trembling voice as his throat moved.

He was still regretting it just now. If he hid in a building in the town, he might be able to escape.

But as soon as this hound, which had obviously been trained by an animal trainer, appeared, he realized that the other party had no intention of giving him any way to survive.

The black hound stared at Matt fiercely. Unlike the golden-eyed owl, it was only an acquired semi-alien beast, but it was still easy to lock onto a person's scent.

Jackson put his hands in his pockets. As a second-level peak [Palm Tamer], he could control two strange beasts at the same time.

He looked at Matt, shook his head slightly and said: "Since we are the enemy, we should not give the enemy even a glimmer of hope.

Our boss already thinks highly of you and asked us to formulate a whole set of plans. It is because you are too conceited that you are in this situation."

Matt's face was pale, and his eyes subconsciously glanced at the open space on the left. Then, he saw a group of people walking slowly.

Leo was wearing sunglasses, and Garcia had a cigarette in his mouth. The two of them raised their Force firearms, followed by 10 people, twelve Force firearms, all pointed at him.

"Sorry to disappoint you, this road is blocked." Leo adjusted his sunglasses and said seriously.

There are dead ends in all directions. Even if Matt can fly to the sky and escape, he may not be able to escape from this situation.

The seriously injured Matt finally collapsed. His left arm holding the dagger trembled slightly. He stared at the black fox and shouted bitterly: "You want to kill me too?!"

What he hates most at the moment is this fat man and traitor, who is always more hateful than the enemy.

The black fox's face twitched, and he spread his hands helplessly: "Brother Matt, I have no choice but to do it."

What could he do? In order to survive, at Sigur's request, he had just killed many of Matt's men.

"Okay, stop talking nonsense and do it!" Sigur was already impatient, and the mace in his hand was shining with a dazzling red light.

"Wait, I admit defeat, we can talk! I can pay for my life, or even sell my life for you!" Matt shouted, trying to find a chance for survival.

"No need, I prefer to cut you into pieces, hahaha!"

Bessie licked her red lips and said with a smile, her eyes were cruel, the scimitar in her hand was filled with cold light, and murderous intent suddenly arose.

Beside him, a billowing heat wave hit him. Bill raised a red-bladed double-edged axe, and Garcia and the others were also pulling the trigger.

With nowhere to escape, no negotiation, and under the shadow of death, Matt's hair stood on end and his eyes looked crazy.

He shouted hysterically: "Duke Norton will not let you go, you will regret it! You will all die!! You..."

Roar─

Sigur roared angrily, his whole body was surrounded by blazing red flames, he grabbed the ferocious-looking mace, and jumped up with the force of thunder.

Bang!

There was a dull crash, blood spattered, and Matt flew backwards like a scarecrow.

"Ahem!"

With blood dripping from his chest, he fell to the grass with a thud. Matt, who had several broken ribs, struggled to get up when he saw a long black sword.

Poof, the sword flashed, and Matt's entire left arm was broken at the shoulder. The black fox put away the sword with a little guilt and stepped aside.

Bang bang bang!

Immediately afterwards, a series of armor-piercing bullets were shot ruthlessly into Matt's chest, and the drug lord with only half of his arm staggered back.

His whole body was stained with blood, his vision was black, and his body was crumbling. His survival instinct made him shout hurriedly: "No, wait..."

Whoosh!

Bill swept across with his axe, and Matt's legs were completely severed. His body was lifted high into the air by the huge impact, and his consciousness began to blur.

The feeling of weightlessness gave him a sense of comfort. As he was dying, he saw the graceful woman.

‘Arc Blade─Shaping the Moon’

The arms that danced like phantoms brought out brilliant sword lights, densely overlapping each other.

"This is too fast."

Matt muttered one last word to himself, closed his eyes, and after a burst of pain, his consciousness fell into darkness.

A generation of drug lords passed away peacefully.
