Chapter Fifty-Five: The Beautiful Agent 1

After washing his face in the guest room, Shanzi put on his robe again and rushed to Pok Oi Hospital alone.

I tapped the door of room 213, and it was the head nurse who opened the door.

Just like in the morning, the head nurse still wore a mask and a white coat, giving people a holy and mysterious look.

As soon as Shanzi raised his right foot, the head nurse waved his hand to stop him, signaling Shanzi not to enter the ward.

Just when I was wondering, the head nurse had already walked out of the door.

After closing the door, the head nurse said bluntly: "I heard from Dr. Shen that your name is Wang Zikai. How did Dr. Shen and you know each other?"

Shanzi answered the other party with a lie: "How many times have I been with my family to see a doctor? Is this how we know each other?"

After hearing Shanzi's answer, the head nurse nodded slightly.

Shanzi asked: "Has the patient woke up?"

The head nurse answered the question incorrectly: "Please come with me."

After saying that, the head nurse took steps, and Shanzi followed behind.

Entering the passage, the head nurse slowed down and complained in a soft voice: "You are really a person. Why haven't you paid the hospitalization fee yet? What have you been doing since this afternoon?"

Shanzi said: "I was just busy with the things at hand, and I was delayed."

The head nurse asked again: "Why did you come back alone? Where is that brother?"

Shanzi continued: "It was nothing to do with him. He went home."

The head nurse said: "The hospital bills can't be delayed any longer. I'll help you find a cashier and hand them over to her."

Shan Zi forced a smile: "Thank you."

Walking all the way north along the passage, the head nurse said to herself: "There was loud gunfire outside a while ago, and there were five injured Japanese soldiers admitted to the hospital. I wonder what happened?"

Shanzi responded perfunctorily, saying that he just came back from a friend's house and didn't know anything.

After crossing the partition door, the head nurse just told Shanzi——

The rescued girl's name is Miaomiao, who happens to be eighteen years old this year. But for some reason, Miaomiao has been reluctant to tell her family situation and address. No matter how she is asked, she only responds with tears.

After listening to the head nurse's reaction, Shanzi frowned and was speechless.

Calling a hospital door from an alley, Shanzi handed the hospitalization deposit to a middle-aged woman.

After leaving the cashier's house, the head nurse asked Shanzi to go into another small courtyard on the pretext that she had something to explain. The head nurse said that this small courtyard was her home.

Turning on the light in the room, Shanzi sat on the chair beside the square table at the greeting of the head nurse.

When the head nurse took off her coat and mask, Shanzi was immediately stunned by a peerless beauty with a body like a willow and a face like a pear blossom.

At this moment, Shanzi would never believe that this beautiful female head nurse turned out to be a female agent of the Japanese army lurking in Qiaonan. Later, when she knelt down to woo Shanzi, she was shot to death by Shanzi.

Pouring a glass of boiling water from the square table, the head nurse handed it to Shan Zi: "My surname is Wen, my name is Wen Hui. I am twenty-seven years old. I have been in the hospital for less than a month."

Shanzi took the water glass and said in an embarrassed and vague voice: "Thank you, Head Nurse Wen."

Wen Hui smiled calmly and sat down from the other side of the square table: "Wang Zikai, how old are you this year?"

Shanzi said, the virtual age is twenty-six and the full year is twenty-five.

After hearing Shanzi's age, Wen Hui sighed softly: "I really don't know anything about it. I was shocked when I compared it. In my confusion, I thought that the yellow flower was still young. Little did I know that the west wind was bleak, and the frost hit the late autumn, and the flowers withered and the branches and leaves were thin."

Although Shan Zi admired Wen Hui's writing, he couldn't think of the right words to respond to him.

Seeing Shanzi buried his head in silence, Wen Hui said: "By the way, Wang Zikai, if you don't mind, I would like to know what kind of occupation you are engaged in, including your family situation and address."

After thinking for a moment, Shanzi took a sip of water and replied: "The head nurse is not laughing at what I have said. I was born in the countryside and live in Heya Village. I make a living by doing local produce business."

Wen Hui continued: "Perhaps country people are true, but you don't look like a businessman in terms of temperament or speech. As the saying goes, acquaintance is a friend. Since we are friends, why bother to hide it?"

Shan Zi smiled awkwardly: "I've always been honest. I can't say needles or sticks. By the way, Head Nurse Wen, if you have anything to tell me quickly, you can go back to the ward to visit the patient."

Wen Hui stared at Shan Zi's face unblinkingly at this time: "Wang Zikai, actually, I have finished everything I have to explain. I repeat, my name is Wen Hui, and I sincerely hope to be friends with you."

Shanzi said thank you again, then stood up and left.
