Chapter 4

Ji Yun was an optimist and complained about Teacher Wang in the office for a long time. It was not until she looked through the window and saw that the students were almost there that she remembered that Su Meng and Jiang Ning had not been introduced to each other.

"Look at my memory, you two must have been familiar with each other for a while, right? I have the impression that you two have known each other for the first time, right?"

Su Meng shook her head, while Jiang Ning remained silent.

"Oh, I forgot. Su Meng entered our Class B. Unlike Jiang Da Talent, he is the leader of Class A and the provincial champion!"

Ji Yun patted Jiang Ning's shoulder happily and asked curiously:

"You said that you, a provincial art champion, didn't choose from so many art colleges, so why did you study science? Now, why are you back?"

"Teacher Ji was joking. I was just lucky at first. As for studying science..."

Jiang Ning paused deliberately, glanced at Su Meng, and then shook her head helplessly.

Su Meng was startled by the sudden gaze. What flashed through her mind was: [Look at what I am doing?]

Could it be that I did something in school that offended him? That shouldn’t be the case. I didn’t even talk to anyone in the studio!

Ji Yun seemed to have an inspiration, her eyes lit up, and she quickly scanned the two people.

【Jingle Bell!】

The ringing of the bell interrupted the three people's thoughts. Ji Yun put her arms around their shoulders and joked as she returned to the classroom:

"Class is over, class is over, talk to me later when you have time!"

The three of them pushed the door open and entered the studio, only to see that the students did not return to their seats, but were gathering around Su Meng's paintings and pointing.

Classmate A: "Who painted this? Is the level so high?"

Student B: "Do you think this painting style and this touch look familiar?"

Classmate C: "I know! I know! It's exactly the same as the painting of Zhou Shaoyang, the great painter of Zhou Dynasty!"

【Zhou Shaoyang!】

Su Meng panicked, hurriedly squeezed into the crowd, and put away her watercolors in a panic.

"It's class! Everyone is deaf? Can't even hear the bell?"

Ji Yun had a straight face and shouted at the top of her lungs, and everyone sat back in their seats dejectedly.

Su Meng held the painting to her chest, buried her head and walked back to Jiang Ning.

"Let me introduce to you the new intern teachers, Teacher Jiang and Teacher Su. You two should find a seat in the back and sit down first. I have to draw a demonstration sketch for them first."

Seeing the students gathered around Teacher Ji to watch her demonstration, Su Meng carefully unfolded the painting on her chest and looked for a painting bag to put it away, but found that the painting bag was on the side of Jiang Ning's body.

"Excuse me, give me a moment."

For a long time, Su Meng didn't get a response, and Jiang Ning didn't speak or move.

Su Meng looked up at him in bewilderment, her face was tight and there was no trace of a smile.

Why is this man so uncertain, and you have offended him again?

Seeing that he was not moving, Su Meng had to squeeze past him to get back her painting bag.

Jiang Ning held down the painting bag and stared at Su Meng coldly.

Su Meng instinctively lowered her head. When she saw that the painting had been folded, she retracted her body and no longer held on to the painting bag.

"Are you so ungrateful?"

"What?"

The conversation between the two was interrupted by a male classmate standing in the back row. He jumped off his chair and leaned against Su Meng.

"Teacher Su, are you really studying art?"

"Well, what's wrong?"

"No, Teacher Su, your dressing style is too old-fashioned! How did you become an art teacher?"

Su Meng paused for two seconds, her face turned red, and she could only pretend to be calm while sharpening her pencil.

"Ouch!"

The boy was kicked by Jiang Ning, let out a scream, and ran away.

"Some people just go out if they don't want to see the teacher doing demonstrations!"

As soon as Ji Yun spoke, the boy had to stand up and silently stood back on his chair.

"When others laugh at you, you don't say anything?"

Jiang Ning felt sullen in her heart. Just by looking at Su Meng's reaction just now, he knew that Su Meng and Zhou Shaoyang were not just ordinary classmates.

"They are still students, so I have nothing to argue with them."

Su Meng is understated, while Jiang Ning is full of yin and yang.

"With your temper, you probably won't last long as a teacher."

"Why can't I last longer?"

Su Meng was a little too excited, and her slightly loud voice attracted many classmates to watch.

"Ahem, cough, cough, Teacher Su~ Keep your voice down~"

As soon as Ji Yun opened her mouth, Su Meng lowered her head so much that it almost touched her chest.

Jiang Ning tilted her head and raised her mouth and laughed:

"Aren't you quite angry?"

"you……"

The whole morning, Su Meng didn't give Jiang Ning a good look. She finally made it to the end of the morning class. Su Meng said hello to Ji Yun and left in a hurry.

After returning to the classroom, Jiang Ning found no trace of Su Meng and learned from Ji Yun that she was going home for dinner.

"This girl is also pitiful. She didn't go back to eat. She must have gone back to cook for her uncle and aunt's family!"

Jiang Ning frowned, displeasure showed in the corners of her eyes, and did not answer.

"If she had performed well in the provincial art exam, several colleges and universities would have offered her admission with reduced tuition fees! I even asked the monitor of our Class B to do some psychological work for him!"

"Squad leader? Zhou Shaoyang?"

Ji Yun nodded in approval.

"Yes, it's a pity that fate has played a trick on us. This girl didn't perform well. She only got a little over 100 in the colors she was good at. Even if the school wanted to help, it couldn't help."

Jiang Ning stopped talking and ordered an extra lunch box.

When Su Meng flew all the way to Su Na's rental house, it was already twelve o'clock.

She hurriedly opened the door with her key, and what she saw was indeed the scene of Su Na kissing another man.

"Sorry sorry..."

Su Meng wanted to run away, but Su Na grabbed her.

"Who asked you to come! Where did you get the key?"

"Auntie gave it to me..."

Su Na grabbed the key and paced back and forth uneasily outside the door.

Su Meng finally realized that her aunt's request to cook for Su Na was secondary, and monitoring her was primary.

"Don't worry, I won't tell my aunt."

"Yes, you won't complain now, but will you grab my pigtails in the future so that I can do things for you? Su Meng, stop daydreaming like this!"

Su Meng used to think that Su Na had delusions of being persecuted and always liked to regard herself as an enemy who deliberately persecuted her. Now it seems that this is really the case.

"I didn't think so..."

From the bottom of her heart, Su Meng didn't want to take care of Su Na. After all, she only had two hours for lunch and rest. If she had to make meals again and again, she wouldn't even have time to eat.

Now, bumping into Suna's boyfriend on the first day is not a bad thing. At least Suna will not let her come again in the near future. In the future, as long as Suna speaks to her aunt, she will no longer have to take care of her!

"Keep this ring!"

"ah……"

Su Meng's face was full of questions, what did Su Na mean by this? To bribe herself?

"Ah what? Just think of it as hush money for you. Don't let me see you at home in the future!"

"good."

Su Meng was so interested that she got on her bicycle and left without looking back.

The man lazily walked to the door, hugged Suna into his arms, and asked lazily:

"Why don't you bribe her with money? What kind of jewelry should you give her? So you don't take seriously what your boyfriend and I gave you?"

"Give me money? Does she deserve it? Don't worry, I'll get that ring back tomorrow!"
