Chapter 4 Pretentious

It was already ten o'clock in the morning, but Wen Jingnian still hadn't come back.

She picked up her cell phone and called him, but no one answered.

Jiang Yao put down her phone and stood up, pulled the suitcase aside, turned around and walked out.

After walking out of the gate, the driver placed the suitcase on the trunk of the car.

Jiang Yao couldn't help but look back at the villa behind her again.

I have lived here for more than three years, and now I suddenly feel a sense of relief.

He averted his eyes and got into the car without leaving any trace of regret.

"Mr. Wen, the servant called just now to say that my wife has moved out of Lanshan Mansion. This is the divorce agreement she had someone send over."

Looking at the documents handed over by secretary Song Li, Wen Jingnian's face darkened.

"Where did she go?" He glanced at the agreement casually, and Jiang Yao had signed her name at the end.

Song Li thought for a while and said, "My wife has nowhere to go. She probably won't go back to Jiang's house for the time being. She should go to the apartment over at Yutingwan."

Wen Jingnian was silent, threw the agreement aside, paused, and said, "Go and do your work first!"

After Song Li left, he picked up the agreement again.

Jiang Yao doesn't want much, a house, a million in savings, and then be responsible for her living expenses until she finds a job.

These are nothing to Wen Jingnian, but what makes him feel a little dissatisfied.

Why did the word divorce come out of her mouth?

It was clear that she had played a trick on this marriage to break up him and Jiang Qing, and now it was over when she said it was over?

He tugged on his tie irritably, crumpled the agreement into a ball and threw it into the trash can.

Jiang Yao waited for Wen Jingnian for three days without reply, and he didn't answer her calls.

In the past few days, she had been hiding in her apartment, licking her wounds and healing herself. Her mood gradually calmed down, and she made an appointment with the hospital for the surgery in a week.

The sun is amazingly bright today, as if it is showing its new life.

She had been bored in the house for several days. Now when she came out, she felt that the air outside was very fresh, and her muddy brain became much clearer.

Checking the time, it was around ten in the morning. Wen Jingnian should be at the company at this time!

Taking a taxi, Jiang Yao went directly to Wen's Group.

After three years of marriage, she had only visited the Wen Group a handful of times. Looking at the building in front of her, she felt inexplicably nervous.

Just when she was about to go in, she saw Wen Jingnian walking out of the door from a distance. He was wearing a black suit, with a tall figure and a handsome face. Such a person is very conspicuous in the crowd.

Jiang Yao was about to go over, but someone was a step ahead of her, "Brother Jingnian."

Jiang Qing stood in front of Wen Jingnian, with long hair shawl, a red butterfly hairpin on her head, and a goose-yellow dress. She looked very pure and cute.

Seeing the two of them getting into the car together, Jiang Yao hesitated for a moment, then got into the taxi again and followed.

Wen Jingnian and Jiang Qing entered a Western restaurant. Jiang Yao paid and followed them inside.

In the restaurant, Wen Jingnian and Jiang Qing had just finished ordering when Jiang Yao walked in.

She completely ignored them and directly pulled up a chair and sat down.

Jiang Qing was stunned for a moment, "Sister, why are you here?" As she spoke, she raised her eyes and looked at Wen Jingnian, "Brother Jingnian, did you ask sister to come?"

Wen Jingnian did not speak, his face was calm, and he did not feel uncomfortable because of Jiang Yao's arrival. His brows were full of coldness and alienation.

Jiang Yao didn't want to stay here any longer because she didn't want to see Jiang Qing's pretentious look.

She raised her eyes and looked at Wen Jingnian, took out a divorce agreement from her bag, and said straight to the point: Mr. Wen, please sign this.
