Chapter 13 Remember

The two only dated briefly for half a year, but broke up due to some reasons. Later, when Jiang Yao was a sophomore, Chu Yunxiao went abroad for further studies.

Five or six years later, we actually met again.

"Yao Yao, long time no see." Chu Yunxiao stretched out his hand towards her.

Jiang Yao was still a little embarrassed. She slowly stretched out her hand and shook Chu Yunxiao's hand slightly, "Long time no see, Senior Chu."

Chu Yunxiao smiled slightly, "When did you become so polite?"

Hearing this, Jiang Yao bit her lip slightly and lowered her gaze.

He Feiyan looked at the two of them and knew that they must have something to say, so he said, "Jiang Yao, do you want to eat something? I'll buy it for you. You must be hungry after sleeping for so long."

Chu Yunxiao turned to look at her and said: "She has just had the operation. She should not eat food that is too greasy or tonic. It is better to eat light food."

He Feiyan nodded clearly, "Okay, I understand, I'll go and see you later." She winked at Jiang Yao, picked up her bag, and turned to leave.

The ward became quiet for a while.

Chu Yunxiao pulled up a chair and sat in front of the bed, "How did you get yourself into this state, so weak?"

Hearing his words, Jiang Yao's face darkened a bit. She reached out and gently touched her abdomen. Her eyes suddenly became sore. She raised her eyes and looked at Chu Yunxiao, "Is my child..."

Chu Yunxiao's face darkened, and he didn't want to hide anything from her. He said in a low voice: "You are still young and there will be more in the future."

Hearing this, tears fell from the corners of Jiang Yao's eyes uncontrollably.

Although I had known for a long time that this child could not be saved, my heart still ached extremely when I heard that he had really left.

Seeing the tears in the corners of her eyes, he took out a handkerchief to wipe her tears, "Yao Yao, you should have a good rest now and stop thinking about useless things."

Jiang Yao hummed softly and said thank you.

Take a deep breath and try to calm down.

Then he looked at Chu Yunxiao and said, "Yunxiao, congratulations, you have really become a doctor now."

Chu Yunxiao smiled, "What about you? Have you ever become a fashion designer?"

His words made Jiang Yao feel bitter again. She lowered her eyes and shook her head.

Chu Yunxiao looked at her thin body and felt a little panicked when he thought of the scene where she was pushed into the operating room covered in blood last night.

He actually came back for a while and thought about going to Jiang Yao, but he gave up after learning about her marriage from others.

Later, he couldn't help but look at her. He was watching her outside the gate.

At that time, she was sitting in the yard with her servants, trimming bouquets of flowers. From the chat between the two, she heard that she was fine now, so Chu Yunxiao couldn't bear to disturb her and left.

After a pause, he asked in a low voice: "When did you get married?"

Jiang Yao tightened her palms slightly and whispered: "Three years ago."

Listening to her words, Chu Yunxiao nodded slightly, and a burst of bitterness filled his heart. He wanted to ask: "Why didn't you wait for me?"

But thinking that she now has a husband, she still didn't say anything.

In the end, I could only ask in a low voice: "You should have a good rest! I'll go to other rooms first and ring the bell if you need anything."

Jiang Yao said hello.

Chu Yunxiao walked out of the ward, his face a little solemn, and he secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

When he raised his eyes, he saw Wen Jingnian walking this way. Chu Yunxiao took a few steps forward and said, "Mr. Wen."

The two people's eyes met, and Wen Jingnian said calmly, "Is something wrong?"

Chu Yunxiao was silent for a moment and said: "Mr. Wen, your wife has just had an operation and is still very weak. I hope you can take good care of her."

After listening to his words, Wen Jingnian looked at him coldly, noticed the work badge on his chest, and said indifferently: "I remember that my wife's attending doctor is not you?"
