Chapter 971 The story begins

Song Xiang walked over and saw his chapped lips. She quickly turned around and went to the table. She turned her back and said, "Dad, do you want water or tea?"

Rong Boye was silent for a moment and said: "...Water."

Song Xiang nodded, poured a glass of water, and even took a spoon.

She squatted next to Rong Boye, intending to feed him, but Rong Boye stood up, took off the spoon and drank half a cup.

They looked at each other and became quiet again.

Song Xiang put the cup back and said, "You can sleep, I'll watch over you."

Although Rong Boye was tired, his eyes were bright. He watched her take a small cushion and sit down before he nodded.

There was only the sound of clocks in the room, and time seemed to slow down.

Song Xiang leaned on the edge of the bamboo chair, calmed down, recalled everything recently, and was filled with emotions.

After waiting for a while, Rong Boye fell into a deep sleep. She thought about preparing something to eat for Rong Boye, and tiptoed out of the door.

Downstairs, Rong Zhe is accompanying Xiang Shuyi, discussing Rong Boye's condition.

Song Xiang went over and listened, and then breathed a sigh of relief after confirming that the problem was not serious. Rong Zhe was very happy to hear that she was going to the kitchen.

"Sir, you will be happy when you wake up."

Xiang Shuyi lost his pen and had to join in the fun.

We followed to the kitchen, which was quite big inside and out, but not many people.

Song Xiang never overestimated herself. After asking for flour, eggs and glutinous rice, she planned to make glutinous rice porridge and egg pancakes. No matter how difficult it was, she couldn't make it.

"If you didn't have the daughter filter, it would be impossible to buy Brother Rong to eat." Xiang Shuyi took a look at the ingredients and complained mercilessly.

Song Xiang snorted, "I didn't give you anything to eat. What does it have to do with you?"

Xiang Shuyi let out a sigh, propped up the table and laughed, "Little girl, you have to be polite when you speak. In terms of seniority, you have to call me uncle."

Song Xiang was shocked and realized that he seemed to be calling Rong Boye "brother". She turned to look at Rong Zhe for confirmation, and Rong Zhe nodded.

Xiang Shuyi said proudly, "Be good, call me uncle."

Song Xiang: "..."

She rolled her eyes but didn't scream.

"Not polite." Xiang Shuyi clicked his tongue, sat down on the edge and commanded, "Put in two more eggs. Uncle is getting old and needs to be replenished."

Song Xiang gritted his teeth.

She just pretended not to hear and did her own thing.

Xiang Shuyi pulled up a deck chair and sat in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, looking at the scenery in the garden while talking to Song Xiang.

Song Xiang would reply a word or two if he liked it, but not if he didn't.

In the middle of the journey, Xiang Shuyi didn't know what he saw and suddenly got up.

Song Xiang glanced at him and did his own thing.

After a while, the phone vibrated. It was a message from Suman, saying that he was leaving.

Song Xiang then remembered that he hadn't seen her at breakfast just now, and he knew immediately that she must have overslept.

After saying "be careful on the road", she prepared to cook porridge.

Nothing happened during the period. She saw Rong Zhe talking on the phone in the corridor and followed him quietly.

Rong Zhe turned around and saw her and hung up the phone first, "Is there something wrong, Miss?"

Song Xiang put his hands behind his back, "Don't call me that in the future, just call me Xiang Xiang."

Rong Zhe nodded and looked at her expression, knowing that she had something to ask.

The two of them pulled up chairs and sat down on the porch to chat.

"What do you want to ask?"

Song Xiang thought for a moment and said, "Do you know what happened to my parents and Aunt An?"

Rong Zhe's expression was sluggish, "I know part of it."

"Then tell me?"

Rong Zhe's smile didn't reach his eyes, "Which part do you want to know?"

"Did Dad really have anything to do with Aunt An?" Song Xiang asked bluntly.

Rong Zhe answered simply, "No."
