Chapter 1540 Arriving at the Mine

"Go to the second location 120 kilometers away." Sergeant Major John said.

"Great, stay in the Hummer for three hours and enjoy the ride." said the boss.

"Then give us some helicopters. We need the support of air units and a better field of view." Sergeant Major John took the opportunity to make a request.

"Oh, that's not possible. The air force has too many tasks. The most I can do is provide you with support. I'm sure I can arrive within half an hour."

In order to prevent Sergeant Major John from pestering us, the superior decisively issued an eviction order: "Let's go quickly. I wish you a happy hunting."

"Thank you, sir."

The request was fruitless, and Sergeant Major John had no choice but to take an apple from the table and leave.

after an hour.

John gathered all the members of the team, as well as translator Ahmed and foreign aid Long Zhan, and left the airport in a Humvee convoy and went straight to the second location.

"Why are the Taliban's weapons depots always hundreds of kilometers away from our bases?" Kitts complained.

"Kitz's hemorrhoids can't stand it. His asshole will explode this time." Tom Cat gloated and joked to the side.

"Okay, guys, listen, this is our fourth time here, get used to it."

"I don't want to get used to it at all. Apart from losing Jack in these four trips, what else have we gained? Even if we find explosives, do you think this will change anything? Or can it make him alive?"

"What does this have to do with Kitz's hemorrhoids?" said Tom Cat.

"Holy shit, why don't you talk about your butt? Tom Cat."

"How else do you think you got the name? Hahaha."

Everyone was very bored along the way, and we kept chatting away with each other.

Jackie Chan is quite satisfied with the spirit of this group of guys. In this world where nothing matters but mountains and sky, it is not easy to stay energetic every day.

unconsciously.

Three hours have passed.

"Hey guys, we're almost there." The lead car's communication came over the radio.

"So fast, it feels like we haven't even sat for three hours. We are now more than 120 kilometers away from the base. It will take 30 minutes for air support to arrive. Finally, check the communication equipment, Tom Cat." John reminded.

"Roger, communication is clear, Sergeant Major." Tom Cat replied.

Following Tom Cat's reply, the convoy came to a platform on the mountainside. There was a mining farm directly in front, with various equipment in operation.

Outside the cave entrance, a group of Afghans were carrying large plastic buckets.

John didn't know what they were doing, so he began to direct the action, stretched out two fingers and moved them, which meant that the troops divided into two routes.

One car goes to the left to block the intersection, and the other car goes to the right to check.

Ahmed, Sergeant John and Jackie Chan's cars drove directly to the left, and the Hummers of Kits, JJ and other team members drove directly to the right.

The two cars drove to the entrance of the cave and hurriedly opened the door. Everyone quickly jumped out of the car with guns in hand.

"Hands up, hands up."

The team members pointed their guns at the Afghans with live ammunition to intimidate the Afghans and control them before proceeding with the next operation.

Several Afghans who were transporting barrels were so frightened that they quickly raised their hands in a gesture of surrender.

The United States enforces the law in its own country and empties its magazines whenever it encounters resistance. You can imagine the treatment that Afghans receive when they resist.

"Come here and line up, hurry up."

Kitts and JJ pointed guns at them and told them to line up.

Ahmed also got out of the car. In order to prevent Afghanistan from retaliating against his wife, he not only put on sunglasses but also put on a hijab.

He completely covered his face and shouted at the Afghans: "I am surrounded by American troops. We are here to conduct a search. Which of you is the owner of this mine? Come forward."

One of them, an Afghan in a leather jacket, raised his hand and looked at Ahmed.

"This place belongs to me. I didn't do anything to the Americans. I'm doing legal business. What are you doing here?" the Afghan in the leather jacket said loudly.

"Let's come up with a target, explosives, bombs to make remote-controlled bombs." Ahmed replied.

"Explosives? We are a closed mine. We haven't used explosives in many years, let alone any remote-controlled bombs." The man in the leather jacket replied calmly.

"What you said doesn't count. They need to collect it. They won't search for too long. I hope you will cooperate." Ahmed replied.

"Are you looking for the Taliban?" the man in the leather jacket said directly.

"Yes, we are looking for the Taliban." Ahmed nodded and said.

"I knew it, but you came to the wrong place. There is a bigger mine down there, and there may be the person you are looking for there..."

He pointed in one direction and said loudly, and it seemed like there was no problem.

But Jackie Chan sensed something was wrong, and found that this guy's eyes flickered, not really revealing information, but more like deliberately delaying time.

As for the purpose of delaying time, Jackie Chan couldn't even guess it after looking at it.

This place is in the wilderness and doesn't look too dangerous.

And in a corner that Jackie Chan didn't know about, there was someone taking advantage of the man in the leather jacket to talk to the US military outside, looking out with his eyes through a small gap.

He made a phone call to the Taliban and said: "The US military has found the mine and is here."

"The U.S. military found the mine?"

People at the Taliban gathering point on the other side asked in shock after receiving the call.

The Taliban leader on the side heard this and immediately said with a fierce look: "Send someone over and send everyone nearby."

There are quite a few Taliban in this room. They are all over the room, at least a dozen in total.

The bearded Taliban who answered the phone immediately replied after hearing what the leader said: "Hold them and more soldiers will rush over."

The U.S. troops at the mine don't know yet, but someone has already informed the Tali version of their news, and a large number of Tali version soldiers are on the way.

"Thank you, after we check here, we will go over there to have a look."

Ahmed thought the man in the leather jacket was telling the truth and expressed his gratitude politely.

"You're welcome." He replied.

Ahmed told John about their conversation and prepared to go there.

"Something's wrong, I think he's lying." Long Zhan said from the side.

Sergeant Major John also felt that something was not right, so he chose to believe Jackie Chan and shouted to the team: "Kitts, keep an eye on the man in the leather jacket. Search the area. Let's go up and take a look."

Kitts raised his gun and replied, "Roger that, Sergeant Major."

"Hey guys, come on over here, get moving, there's a guy here on the phone."

As soon as Sergeant Major John gave the order, JJ and Tom Cat started searching the area with guns. As a result, JJ found the Afghan on the phone in a dark corner as soon as he entered the cave.
