2. Chapter 2 Admitting the wrong person

"It's rare that Mr. Mu is here tonight." A voice sounded from somewhere among the guests.

Mr. Mo?

The crowd of guests was very noisy, and the man's voice was a bit muffled, but Gu still couldn't hear it clearly.

Mo Yichen?

Gu Yiran's drooped head suddenly lifted up, looking past the crowds of different heights and looking in the direction of Mu Siyan again.

After entering the room, the man didn't even look around the scene, and went straight to the most secluded corner of the hall.

The host of the banquet and several guests who came first followed him with their heads bent, looking flattering on their faces and not knowing what to say.

Gu still couldn't hear the conversation of several people clearly. He lowered his eyes and looked at the camera in his hand. Thinking of his purpose of coming here this time, he walked over on stiletto heels.

This banquet brought together celebrities from all walks of life, and reporters from major weekly newspapers were also invited. What was the real purpose? Gu still knew very well that a group of wealthy people wanted to put on a show, and the media was the best publicity tool.

Mu Siyan has only had a few people around him since entering the venue, which created an opportunity for Gu Yiran.

For an interviewer, the fewer people there are, the more advantageous it is.

The only thing that puzzled her was that as Mo Yichen was an international superstar, why was she the only reporter who paid attention to him after he appeared at the scene?

Gu Yiran was a little confused about this, but she didn't think much about it. She stepped on the smooth floor with her stiletto heels and walked step by step towards the man in the shadow in the corner with his back to her.

"Hello, Mr. Mo, I'm a reporter from WJ Weekly." Arriving one meter behind the man, Gu Yiran briefly introduced himself with his eyebrows lowered.

The man with his back to her tilted his face slightly and whispered to the people around him, not sure if he heard her words.

Gu Yiran took a step forward and said again, "Mr. Mo, can you spare a few minutes of your time for an interview?"

The man elegantly took a glass of Martini from the waiter next to him, shook it carelessly twice with his well-proportioned hand, and raised his hand to slowly bring the glass to his lips.

His movements were very casual, with an indescribable sexiness, his eyes were light, and there seemed to be a trace of impatience on his face.

Still ignored Gu Yiran.

Gu Yiran's fingers holding the interview machine tightened slightly, and the smile on his face seemed a bit stiff.

There was only one meter between them, but her voice was so loud and she repeated it twice. There was no way he hadn't heard her.

Did he do it on purpose?

What are you dragging? Who do you want to show by acting like you are the only one in the world?

Gu Yiran didn't like this kind of arrogant person very much. If she met him normally, she would just walk away.

However, sometimes, people have to bow to reality.

Such as right now.

He is her mission this time!

"Mr. Mo..." After forcibly holding back the tone, Gu still spoke and wanted to make a third request. A delicate voice suddenly sounded in his ears, "Haines, you are here too today!"

Gu Yiran was stunned after the sound, and slowly turned his head to look at the source of the sound.

A tall woman was walking towards the direction of the two of them with two glasses of red wine. She was wearing a Chanel slim-fitting milky white dress that wrapped her slim figure. Wherever she passed, the charming scent of Lancôme Midnight Perfume overflowed, filling her nose with fragrance.

.

When she came to the man's side, the woman seemed not to notice Gu Yiran standing next to her. She pushed her to the side with her elbow and took her position.
