Chapter 86 The Altar

"ah!!"

A sharp scream faintly reached Geer's ears through the wooden door, and quickly faded away. The sound seemed to come from a young girl.

Before, Geer suddenly felt that there was an unusual collection of energy positions on the other side of the door. That power seemed to be condensed into substance. His body directly thrust out the sword in his hand based on instinctive reaction. The sharp sword blade struck Geer accurately.

Under his control, he directly penetrated the wooden door and hit the area he sensed as he wished.

The sound coming from outside the door showed that his attack was indeed effective.

Withdrawing the long sword from the wooden door, Geer held the sword in front of his eyes and examined it carefully. The sword was shining brightly, and the edge of the sword shone with an icy cold light, which was no different from usual.

Geer stretched out his fingers and gently touched the tip of the sword - this was the part where he was sure that he had stabbed the unknown object. It was very cold, and the temperature was significantly lower than other parts of the sword.

"The tail has been caught, and you still want to run?"

A few seconds later, there was a loud noise, and the wooden door that was cut off from the connection slammed to the ground, and Geer immediately stepped out of the room.

"Switch to temperature difference visual mode."

It was as if a filter was added to Geer's vision, and all the too bright colors were eliminated.

After looking down at the ground for a while, Geer quickly found what he needed - pieces of silver light dots connected on the floor of the corridor to form an irregular straight line, leading straight to the corner in front.

Geer squatted down and touched the silver light spot. Like the tip of the sword, there was nothing else, but the temperature was unusually low.

This is probably the blood of that kind of thing, right?

When something is unknown, people will always have some scruples when facing it, and Geer is no exception. But once you have a certain understanding, you also find that the opponent will also be injured under your own sword.

Being able to bleed is not invincible, so all previous scruples will be swept away immediately.

Standing up, Geer walked quickly forward following the traces on the ground without hesitation.

Ding…ding…ding…

A very strange wind chime sound suddenly sounded, I don’t know where it came from.

Geer quickly passed through the corridors, and the walls on both sides quickly retreated. The corridors here were very strange. They seemed to have no end at all. After a few dozen meters, a corner would appear, and then it would be the same corridor as before.

If it weren't for the guidance of the "blood stains" on the ground, Geer would have thought that he had been spinning in circles.

I don't know how long I walked, but suddenly the light in front of me brightened up, and I no longer saw an unchanged corridor in front of me, but entered a hall.

The length of the hall is about half a hundred, shaped into a rectangle. It is brightly lit and covered with thick red wool carpets. It is surrounded by golden decorations and wall lamps, and the walls are covered with light yellow wallpaper. At regular intervals, there are statues of people wearing robes.

Heavy armored knight statue.

But what caught Geer's attention was the painting in front of him after he entered the hall. It was a painting that used the entire wall as a drawing board. The scene depicted in the painting was very simple. It was a noble conferment ceremony.

The king wearing the crown placed a ceremonial sword on the shoulder of the silver-armored warrior kneeling in front of him, while the gorgeously dressed people around him were cheering, and everyone's expressions were vividly depicted by the skillful painting brush.

The end point of the "blood stain" is right in front of this wall painting.

Walking to the wall painting, Geer looked up at the image of a soldier on the painting that was a circle larger than his own in reality, and reached out to press the wall in front of the "blood stain".

As soon as I exerted force, I felt a slight vibration.

Geer also pressed his other hand on the wall, and exerted force with both hands in the direction he sensed. Rumbling sounds continued, and the stone wall moved sideways, revealing a dark passage.

This is a long and dark stone corridor. There are symmetrical torch sockets on the dark walls on both sides from time to time. After a few breaths after the stone wall is opened, these torches suddenly ignite without wind, illuminating the passage.

Through the light, Geer could see clearly that there were rows of black stone steps under his feet, extending diagonally downward, leading to an unknown depth underground.

What's important is that Geer rediscovered silver "blood stains" on the stone steps.

Without stopping, Geer walked down the stone steps without hesitation.

This staircase seemed to be an endless staircase connecting to the abyss. It was not until Geer walked for more than half an hour that a black round stone door appeared in front of the staircase.

There were "silver blood stains" and even clear footprints.

Step forward and apply a slight force, and the stone door will be pushed back silently, revealing a beautiful and magnificent palace.

The floor is entirely made of pure black obsidian, which seems to have been waxed. It is so clear that it can almost be used as a mirror. Twelve marble columns are arranged on both sides of the hall, each column is inlaid with a shining gemstone.

It surrounds a circular altar in the middle in a symmetrical manner. The stones that make up the altar are covered with various strange symbols, and finally spread along the strange lines to the small pool in the middle of the altar. I don’t know where to start.

The blue liquid that came from nowhere kept sloping down from above, directly entering this pool that seemed to never be filled.

There was a large rolling mass of black gas floating above the altar behind the pool. There seemed to be a deeper black light churning in the gas and flashing electric light, but no sound came out, which looked strange and spectacular.

The white figure that Geer was following was staying in a corner of the hall, but Geer just glanced at the white figure casually. His attention was already occupied by the owner of the footprints who came in before him - the one kneeling by the pool.

Attracted by the man in black robe.

very dangerous.

This was Geer's intuition after seeing the man in black robe with his back turned to him.

Entering the door, Geer had already drawn his sword, and it was obviously time to rely on the weapon to speak for itself.

"What a surprise, another candidate has arrived...Pluto, the time has come to show your loyalty, use your abilities to the fullest, only the winner can get everything..." This voice came from the black air mass, desolate and

And low.

Without any reply, the man in black robe named Pluto stood up silently, turned around, and faced Geer.

He couldn't see his face clearly, everything was hidden in the shadow of the black robe. Only the pair of eyes that were completely white and even the pupils merged into white proved that he was still alive.

The next moment, Pluto's figure drew a black line and headed straight towards Geer.

Ding ding ding!

A series of metal clashing sounds suddenly spread, and countless sparks instantly exploded from the cross sword that Geer waved.

call!

Pluto flipped over and jumped away, and there were already two sharp serrated daggers in his hands. It was these two murderous weapons that exchanged a series of blows with Geer's long sword.

drink!

Geer was not someone who only passively defended. Taking advantage of this opportunity, he stepped forward and slashed directly at Pluto with a crescent-like arc.

But in the next moment, there was darkness in front of Geer's eyes. To be precise, all the light in the entire hall was lost, and it was completely shrouded in rich darkness.

"Let me add some spice to this wonderful battle...hehe...hehe..."
