Chapter 9 8. Wand

Chapter 9 8. Magic Wand

Before previewing his homework, Lin An couldn't help but take out the magic wand.

Made of ebony wood and unicorn hair, eight and a half inches long, very elastic (this is what Lin An is most satisfied with).

Because it was such a slender wand like a chopstick, only 22 centimeters long, she was really afraid that she would accidentally break it or break it in some way.

It's really nice to have elasticity, at least it's not so brittle.

Lin An still remembered the scene when he got the wand - Mr. Ollivander had a soft voice and light eyes. He was very old and looked a little pale.

All in all, he has nothing to do with kindness, but he has a very professional quality.

Lin An thought in a very unartistic way - this is probably the bonus of a determined temperament brought about by monopoly management.

"Ebony symbolizes peace and auspiciousness, but it also represents power and nobility - you are a very contradictory existence."

These are Ollivander's original words: "This is a magical combination... However, unicorn hair also represents peace, friendship and nobility."

"I think you may have a great bloodline."

After Ollivander said this, Professor McGonagall's eyes immediately looked over in surprise, and then seemed to realize something——

"Oh, I mean, when that person is panic-"

"Lin an, maybe you..."

Lin An took back the wand - when he tried the wand, it was not as violent as other wands, but instead shed a faint silver glow, like unicorn hair.

But Lin An knew that the moment she waved the magic wand, what surged in her heart was something she had never experienced in her previous life, and it even felt pretentious to express it.

What falls is not the unicorn’s glory, but the moonlight in its heart.

So she held the wand tightly - because it was the only one that fit her thoughts.

In 1991 in Diagon Alley, London, was the bright moon she saw when she looked up at night the same moon as the one she saw in her previous life?

Therefore, she interrupted Professor McGonagall:

"I don't care about blood."

"What does bloodline mean? Nobler or more powerful?"

"If a noble bloodline is really that useful, there will long be no room for ordinary people to survive in the magical world."

"Oh," Professor McGonagall looked at her in surprise, and then a kind smile appeared on her serious face.

"I think you are really a sensible girl."

Now, Lin An stroked the magic wand and finally carefully opened the second-hand books he bought.

I was unlucky. All I bought were brand new books from poor students, and I didn’t even have half a word of notes.

But I'm also very lucky. I bought all brand new books to prevent my thinking from being swayed by the notes.

The first volume you want to read is of course "Hogwarts: A History of the School".

This is a guide book that may seem boring, but it helps people open up a new world and is even related to the plot of the story in the following seven years.

For example, Lin An didn't know whether comments such as "Technical products cannot be used at Hogwarts" were derived from reading fan fiction or novels, but now she is sure——

It's written in "Hogwarts: A History".

The founder is also very interesting. He believes that boys are more unreliable than girls, so boys are strictly prohibited from entering the girls' lounge.

ha!

Lin An was happy to see it.

Sure enough, in the magical world, strength is supreme.

You know, in London in 1991, women's rights were not necessarily guaranteed.

This further convinced her to become a top student.

For no other reason than to protect yourself in this fairy tale world.

This wand was tried by Harry Potter, and the opportunity was taken away here.
