Underground Fighting Hall

Arthur almost fell to the ground because of the presence of Nighthawk. God knows how scared he is of orcs. The rhinoceros gentleman he met shortly after arriving in Brighton City was enough to scare Arthur. What's more, this is a wolf, a fast one.

A giant wolf that is nearly two meters tall. And why is a wolf called Nighthawk?

Nighthawk stroked the blue hair at the front of his pointed beak with his slender fingers, which was the beard he was proud of in human society. He turned his gold-rimmed glasses and confirmed again and again that the little boy in front of him had a strange face.

"I probably haven't seen you before."

Arthur opened his mouth, but couldn't say anything due to the intense fear. This made Nighthawk a little unhappy. In his dictionary as the boss of the basement, reciprocity was the most important thing. He originally thought he knew him.

What kind of person would be named? A child is enough to disappoint him. A child who can't even speak, oh, so disappointed.

"Don't bring any stray hairs to me from now on. I don't have that much time." Nighthawk stretched out his talons from his fingertips and pointed at the giant man's nose, turned around and wanted to leave.

"Wait a moment!"

Nighthawk turned his head impatiently, but the scene in front of him surprised him. The young man first shook his trembling legs, then patted his cheek, forced himself to calm down, and looked directly at Nighthawk, although his eyes were still

There were subtle dodges, but still not complete avoidance.

Arthur looked down on himself. Although he didn't know what this place was for or what the giant wolf named Nighthawk was for, he looked down on himself for being so scared that he couldn't speak well.

Nighthawk crossed his arms playfully. The young man in front of him now has a little bit of backbone that allows him to face up to his equal status. "Okay, tell me how you know me. My name is the East District."

, except for some big shots, ordinary people are not qualified to know."

Arthur wanted to pick up his words before speaking, but he was troubled by the fact that George didn't elaborate on what he was asked to do, so he had to start with George first.

"I know your name from George, Mr. Nighthawk." Arthur deliberately used the honorific. From Nighthawk's proud tone, Arthur felt that his identity was not simple.

"George?" Nighthawk pretended to think deeply, and the giant man beside him who knew something about the situation glanced at his boss.

"Sorry, kid, there is no such person here."

After hearing this, Arthur's expression suddenly became irritable. He began to wonder if he had read the wrong address, and had taken the note with him if he had known better.

Seeing the change in Arthur's expression, Nighthawk couldn't hold it back. He laughed loudly, bumped his elbows against the giant man beside him, and made a mocking sound like "Look, look, look." Only then did Arthur know that Nighthawk

He was teasing himself. Nighthawk originally wanted to hook Arthur's neck like an acquaintance, but Arthur was too short, so he squatted down to barely reach the same level, so he gave up on this action.

"Young man, don't mind it too much. Isn't it the nature of a wolf to be cunning? I'm just teasing you."

But you are a werewolf. Now Arthur has finally relaxed a little. Facing this giant wolf who is still in a joking mood, he no longer has the fear he had before.

"George, that kid is quite capable. I have a good impression of him. He is the first human kid who can make me feel real since he was naturalized." Recalling George, the smile on Nighthawk Wolf's face became more obvious, and his body

He was shaking unconsciously, and his eagerness to try made Arthur raise his own questions:

"Seriously? Mr. Nighthawk, what is the purpose of this place?"

This time, Nighthawk was surprised, "You didn't know? You came here even if you didn't know? Didn't George tell you?" He asked three questions in a row, which made Arthur, who had made suspicions, become confused, "I originally wanted to keep fit.

A place like that..."

Before he could finish his words, he was interrupted by Nighthawk who was laughing so loudly that he howled like a wolf. He leaned over and covered his stomach in an exaggerated manner and laughed, "That's right. It's just that the process may be a bit bloody."

After laughing, Nighthawk clapped his hands, and all the kerosene chandeliers in the basement were turned on at the same time. A sandy area surrounded by ropes appeared in the center of the basement. Several gangsters turned on the lights and came together.

Arriving at Nighthawk, Nighthawk stretched out his arms and formally introduced this place to Arthur with a hearty smile:

"Welcome to the Templer Underground Fighting Gym. I am the person in charge and boss here, Nighthawk."

Arthur gradually opened his mouth from ear to ear in surprise.

...

Three days passed by in a blink of an eye, and when Arthur stood in the Templer underground fighting gym again, he was already a competitor.

Three days ago, Nighthawk took Arthur to visit the entire underground facility. This venue was set up to provide venues and bets for people who wanted to box and watch boxing. It has extremely complete but simple facilities, places for training, and places to rest.

Places, locker rooms, bathrooms, everything is available. According to Nighthawk, even though the East District is a well-known no-control zone, it is still impossible to establish a truly professional fighting gym without the consent of an official organization.

In other words, this is an illegal fighting gym. What is the East District? It is a place where gangsters, thugs and homeless people gather. If the bloody men want to vent their anger and get money, this is undoubtedly a good place.

"As long as we don't kill people here, you can beat the opponent to any kind of effect. What is your purpose here, money or promotion?" Standing next to the sand ring, Nighthawk leaned on the side rope and asked Arthur. It was difficult.

Imagine how the nearly two-meter giant wolf was supported by the side ropes.

When he thought of this, Arthur felt very uncomfortable: "To be honest, I want to become stronger, but after becoming stronger, I guess I'm still not qualified for what I want to do."

Nighthawk started laughing wildly again, "You are a little brat, what trouble can you get into? Is it useful to think so much? Do you want to become stronger at once and become an outstanding wolf like me or something?" He

He lifted up the only shorts on his body and said, "Who doesn't get stronger slowly? Even if you can't do what you want to do in a year or two, what about ten or twenty years from now? As long as you

You have been on the road to becoming stronger, and sooner or later you will be rewarded."

Nighthawk's words were inexplicably attractive, and Arthur unconsciously followed Nighthawk's way of thinking. His eyes sparkled,

"Then what should I do to become stronger? Mr. Nighthawk?"

Nighthawk did not answer, but looked at Arthur's not so thin body with a meaningful smile. This made Arthur shudder.

So back to the present, Arthur took off his shirt, first looked bitterly at Nighthawk who introduced himself in the center of the ring, then glanced around the crowd holding Brighton City currency and shouting and cheering, and finally looked at the opposite side and

The giant man who guarded the door before was about the same size as a giant.

To be honest, this is completely different from what I imagined. Arthur is only half the height of a giant.

Ah! The giant man induced the audience, and the whole basement burst into enthusiastic cheers. Everyone was shouting: kill him, kill him, etc. Giant Oston, this is the name of Arthur's opponent.

Auston gestured at Arthur to crush him, took long strides, and rushed towards Arthur, splashing sand and gravel on the ground with every step.

Now I was dead. Arthur cursed George silently, then bravely faced him with his fists raised.
