Chapter 7 The first encounter with the dog-headed military division

A green carriage passed through the yellow-orange official road and slowly stopped in front of the majestic bluestone city gate.

"Wow! Is this Jingzhou?" As soon as Jiang Heyun saw the carriage stop, he couldn't help but lift the curtains and look at the city wall towering into the sky in front of him, amazed.

"Jingzhou." Seeing the familiar yet unfamiliar traditional Chinese characters, Jiang Hexi finally felt that she was in a different world, a time and space full of war and oppression, and couldn't help but feel filled with emotion.

Huo Jingchen carefully checked his surroundings and made sure no one was following him before he slowly drove the carriage to the general's mansion.

Several people arrived at a large, simple and solemn house. Two stone lions solemnly guarded the door, with green bricks and green tiles, and a red door with iron locks. On the huge plaque was written "Mighty as a floating cloud, as delicate as a startling giant."

Far from the General's Mansion".

"Who! How dare you break into the general's mansion!"

Huo Jingchen jumped off the carriage and walked over. Just as he was about to show his identity, he was stopped by two mighty soldiers in battle armor.

The three siblings who got out of the car behind were confused, especially Jiang Hexi, who looked at Huo Jingchen with strange eyes.

But as soon as I saw his dark face, which was very different from half a month ago, I was instantly blessed.

"Your face has changed, they can't recognize you." Jiang Hexi first gave the two soldiers a flattering smile, then sneakily pulled Huo Jingchen, who was hiding anger, and listened.

Huo Jingchen immediately realized that he had been changing his feelings for so long that he had forgotten what he looked like before!

A bronze token was suddenly raised in front of the two soldiers.

The two soldiers subconsciously wanted to salute, but were stopped by Huo Jingchen's sharp eyes, and silently swallowed the words "General!"

"Let's go."

Until the figures of several people disappeared into the mansion, the two soldiers were still stunned on the spot, not yet digesting the news that their general had become dark and ugly.

"Jinghe." Huo Jingchen walked directly to the main room and glanced helplessly at the man in blue, who was lying facelessly on a chair.

Hearing the haunting voice, Wen Jianzhou jumped up like a carp, looked left and right, but couldn't find a familiar figure, until he met the dark eyes of the dark-faced man, his eyes widened in disbelief, and he subconsciously took a few steps back.

.

"All right?"

Wen Jianzhou really couldn't believe that the ugly, shabby, bearded man in front of him was his family friend. The cool, handsome, elegant and calm handsome man had turned into such a ghostly appearance!

Wasn't it just a chase? How could it be so embarrassing?

But Wen Jianzhou didn't dare to say these words to death. He could only cough lightly and fanned the white jade folding fan in his hand, trying to get rid of some strange smell.

"Brother Wen, who is he?" Jiang Heyun, who was hiding behind his sister's thighs, couldn't help but poke his little head out, his round almond-shaped eyes scanning the strange man in blue in front of him.

"You! You have a child! Or two!"

"Is this the reason why you still refuse to get married when you are so young?"

"You actually had a child behind my back."

Only then did Wen Jianzhou discover the existence of the three siblings. He looked at the three good-looking people, and then at his friend who had a tenderness in his eyes. He automatically ignored Jiang Heyun's name, and once again looked strangely confused.

Huo Jingchen didn't want to show violence in front of the three people, but because Wen Jianzhou was really hopeless, he kicked the chattering person and successfully silenced him.

At this point, Jiang Hexi still didn't understand what was going on. He glanced at Huo Jingchen who was panic-stricken and said through gritted teeth: "Mr. Wen, no, I should call you General Huo."

"The general is so charming and has great acting skills. The three of us, brother and sister, were deceived and turned around!"

Looking at Jiang Hexi with a sinister look on his face, Huo Jingchen knew he was in the wrong, but he didn't dare to refute, so he touched his nose.

"Miss Jiang, I'm the one who pretended to be you, right? Huo hereby apologizes to you!" As he said that, Huo Jingchen directly clasped his fists and bowed deeply.

Jiang Hexi hurriedly avoided his salute. How could she, a peasant girl, dare to embarrass him in the general's mansion? Didn't she see the guard outside the door staring at her eagerly?

"General, you are trying to offend me. You must have a compelling reason, so you don't need to pay such a big courtesy to us." Jiang Hexi looked at Huo Jingchen, who looked worried, with a smile on his face, and said mockingly.

Wen Jingzhou, a human being, immediately clarified the cause and effect in just a few sentences. With a clatter, he opened his fan and winked at the angry Jiang Hexi with a smile.

"Hello, Miss Jiang. Miss Jiang is truly a woman, and she actually saved our general. She is truly a hero among women!"

"On behalf of all the soldiers, Mr. Wen would like to thank Miss Jiang for her great kindness."

Wen Jianzhou saw Jiang Hexi's embarrassed expression and secretly smiled proudly. When he saw his expressionless friend from the corner of his eye, his peach blossom eyes rolled and he suddenly had an idea.

"I guess Miss Jiang doesn't have a place to settle down. It's better to live here first to repay Miss Jiang's kindness."

Jiang Hexi thought about it for a while. After all, he was not familiar with the place and still had to think carefully before finding a place to stay, so he agreed.

After saying that, Jiang Hexi directly took the hands of the two confused brothers and left with the maid ordered by Wen Jianzhou, without leaving a single glance at Huo Jingchen, who was always looking at her pitifully.
