Chapter 181 Game between Buddhism and Taoism I am the stick that disturbs you

"It's really strange for a furbolg to come to protect a human temple." Sun Wukong saw through the black-faced man's heels at a glance.

It is not uncommon for monsters to be used to guard the mountain gate or serve as mounts, but that is a treatment only given to great immortals. Ordinary small sects do not dare to do this, as it will cause trouble, and it is easy for monsters to attack the mountain gate and kill them to death.

Although this Guanyin Temple is dedicated to Guanyin, it is not the dojo of Guanyin Bodhisattva. The monks there are not even real monks, and it is impossible to use a monster to guard the door. It is still a monster that has become a habit, so the monkey finds it strange.

Mu Chenxing knew the reason. When he saw this black bear spirit, he understood that this was one of the eighty-one difficulties in the original plot, the stage of stealing the cassock.

The elder of the monastery has a relationship with the bear spirit in Heifeng Mountain. This is a sign of loyalty and he came to help.

"Great Sage, Little White Dragon is no match for you. You go down and kill the black bear spirit. Let's tear down the temple and leave. There is no need to waste time here." Mu Chenxing was afraid that Little White Dragon would be beaten to death, so he quickly asked Wukong to take action.

"I'll wait for my old grandson to go meet him for a while." Sun Wukong was also a little happy to see the hunting spirit. He took out the golden cudgel, jumped off the cloud, and shouted: "Look at the monsters!"

With the momentum of falling straight down from a thousand meters altitude, the iron rod was thrown around the head and hit.

The black bear spirit was no ordinary person. He raised his gun above his head and took it down forcefully.

The exchange of guns and sticks was like a thunderbolt, with a loud bang. Where the weapons collided, sparks flew everywhere. The two huge forces collided, just like detonating thousands of kilograms of explosives. The walls of the nearby attic were overturned by the shock wave.

The monks in the courtyard were so shocked that their ears were bleeding, their hands and feet were weak, and they cried for their fathers and mothers as if they were about to die.

Little Bailong was so frightened that he turned around and ran away. He quickly avoided the two evil spirits and went elsewhere to continue demolishing the house.

"What a monster, take another blow from me, Sun Wukong!" Sun Wukong was shaken by the huge force and did not even hit the ground. He rolled over in the air, rounded the golden cudgel and struck again.

The black bear spirit cheered up, raised his gun to meet him, and yelled: "Look at the devil!"

When the roaring noise started again, the sound shook the whole place.

Again, there is no distinction between top and bottom.

"Come again! Come again!" The monkey was completely excited. The golden hoop in his hand danced like a hot wheel, and he fought with the black bear spirit.

The two men traded guns and sticks without giving in. They fought for more than ten rounds in the blink of an eye. They were truly superb in martial arts and powerful in magic.

Most of the gods and monsters in the world of Journey to the West like to fight in close combat with weapons in hand. This is fundamentally different from the martial arts of mortals. Not only are the weapons heavy and lethal, but they also test the control of mana, the strength of the body, and the capture of spiritual consciousness.

.

It is an all-round competition, which is called the way of fighting.

It's not that they don't know how to attack from afar, it's just that the damage caused by those spells is not as efficient as melee combat.

Basically, without a powerful magic weapon or knowing how to use the rules, it is difficult to cause enough damage to a strong body. Therefore, melee combat has become the most cost-effective option.

This black bear spirit can fight as well as Sun Wukong, so he must not be an ordinary wild monster, but must have learned from an expert.

You must know that Monkey has an extraordinary origin, his teacher is even more powerful, and he was made indestructible by Taishang Laojun. This is not something that a random wild monster can match.

This black bear's spiritual cultivation is extraordinary, and his cave is deliberately located within twenty miles of Guanyin Temple. Isn't he afraid of being discovered by Guanyin and killed easily?

As a result, we have been living in peace for at least two hundred years, and we are even on good terms with Elder Jinchi of the Zen Monastery. No one would believe it if there was nothing fishy.

Mu Chenxing didn’t believe it anyway.

"Reporting to the master, Xiao Long has completely demolished Guanyin Temple." While Sun Wukong and the Black Bear Spirit were having a fierce fight, Xiao Bai Long had already completed his task.

"Well, take a closer look at the great sage's martial arts, so that you can improve your abilities." Mu Chenxing ordered calmly and leisurely watched the battle below.

Ding ding ding ding, it’s quite lively.

He was not in a hurry. The conflict between Buddhism and Taoism had become clear in the current situation. He traveled thousands of miles westward, and Tathagata never came to cause trouble once, which showed that the Three Purities had restricted the Buddha.

Both families have concerns about their maximum combat power, and they will not take action easily unless their lives are at stake.

Then it depends on how the people below fight.

At this time, rushing to Lingshan in a hurry is just being cannon fodder for the Taoist sect, which is not advisable.

He walked westward with great fanfare, just to mobilize the power of Buddhism, to expose the opponent's flaws, and to let the Taoist people see the opportunity to take action. Whether it is intercepting or raiding the old den, he will not be alone.

Combat.

The effect has not yet been seen in the west, but Ksitigarbha's ashram in Beiyin Mountain in the underworld, Guanyin's Nanhai Purple Bamboo Forest, and Samantabhadra's Mount Emei have all been raided.

The four great Bodhisattvas are the pioneers of Buddhism. Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva communicates with the gods in heaven and intends to invade the world; Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva enters the underworld and intimidates the underworld; Samantabhadra Bodhisattva is in Mount Emei, and Manjushri Bodhisattva is in Mount Wutai, establishing two monasteries.

It was for the purpose of marching into Nanfangbuzhou.

As soon as Jin Chanzi completed his great mission of studying scriptures and the Tang Dynasty began to respect Buddhism from top to bottom, their layout was completed.

The Taoist sect definitely doesn't want to see this situation, but the Buddhist sect has the Jade Emperor's support behind it, so it's hard to break up and the fight is too fierce.

The Jade Emperor is not a show-off. He really dares to attack. The Supreme Being of the Three Realms is not a coward. Anyone who dares to look down on him is a fool.

Naturally, Mu Chenxing could see clearly that he was seizing on Buddhism's personal vendetta to surround him and targeting Buddhism everywhere, thereby disrupting the situation in the three realms.

He is not a little monster, but a "mighty" ranked high in this world. The Jade Emperor must give him dignity and allow him to avenge his personal revenge and show his bad temper. He cannot send heavenly soldiers and generals to stop him unless he goes out of his way.

This is a rule, an agreed upon principle.

Otherwise, Sanqing and Zhen Yuanzi could use the Jade Emperor's excuse of not giving us face to rally a group of "senior powerful men" to rebel against him.

They are all indestructible and eternal realms. What is the goal? The disobedient ones are cut off by the Jade Emperor, and then they become his grandsons obediently?

Why?

After reaching this level of cultivation, who wants to be humble? So there is a saying of jumping out of the Three Realms and not in the Five Elements. This was originally said to the Jade Emperor, which means that you should take care of your Three Realms and don't mess with us.

.

Later, it spread and evolved into an auspicious saying praising the immortal family.

This is the reason why Mu Chenxing dared to torment Buddhism. Tathagata was being watched and the Jade Emperor was unable to take action, so he could only let him stir up the situation for the time being.

It just depends on whether Buddhism can come up with a powerful person to control him.

According to Mahayana Buddhism, there are as many people as the sands of the Ganges River who have achieved Buddhahood, which means innumerable.

This is definitely bragging.

But there are also named Buddhas, and it is said that the closest one to the present is the Seventh Buddha.

The first Buddha was named Vipassi Buddha.

The second one is Corpse Buddha, also known as Baoding Buddha.

The third one is Vaisheva Buddha.

These three are the Buddhas of the solemn kalpa period, that is, the last kalpa.

After the solemn tribulation, the world ushered in the "virtuous tribulation". The virtuous tribulation is also called the "present tribulation", which is the period of personal experience now.

The first person to achieve enlightenment and become a Buddha during this period was named Jusun Buddha.

The second one is named Kunagami Buddha.

The third one is named Kassapa Buddha.

The fourth one is named Sakyamuni Buddha, also known as Tathagata Buddha.

After Sakyamuni Buddha, the virtuous kalpa will end, and the future time is called the star kalpa. During the star kalpa, the enlightened person who realizes the Tao and becomes a Buddha is called Maitreya Buddha.

Mu Chenxing does not know whether the legend of the seventh Buddha is trustworthy, but there is a third Buddha, which is certain, that is, the Buddha of the past is the Ancient Buddha, the present Buddha is Tathagata Buddha, and the future Buddha is Maitreya Buddha.

According to his understanding, the Ancient Buddha of Burning Lights was the old leader of Lingshan, and now he has taken a back seat. The Tathagata takes control of Lingshan and appoints Maitreya Buddha as the crown prince.

These three are all Buddhas who exist in the world. As for other Buddhas, we either don’t know whether they exist or their fighting power is not as good as the four great Bodhisattvas. There is no need to pay too much attention to them.

As for the Amitabha Buddha that Buddhist disciples talk about, no one has ever seen it. They only know that in the Western Paradise, no one knows whether it is life or death, and there is no need to worry about it.

Sitting in the air, watching Sun Wukong and the black bear spirit playing ping-pong-pong for half a morning, Mu Chenxing's ears were buzzing. There was nothing exciting about coming and going. It was exciting at first, but the more I watched, the more boring it became.

Already.

He played Haqie out of boredom.

But he has no intention of taking action. Sun Wukong is excited. It is unethical to snatch his opponent at this time.

And that bear was a monk who practiced Qi seriously, not a man-eating monster. If he killed him, he would feel a little guilty.

There is no need to surrender and become a thug. This kind of combat power is dispensable to him, so why bother to spend all that time? He has no plan to drag a bunch of monsters to attack Lingshan. There is no need. The mess is not enough to cause trouble.

When he was bored, a golden light rushed towards him from the sky. Finally, he no longer had to listen to blacksmithing and could do something else.

"Great Sage, stop playing around, we have a guest." He reminded Sun Wukong, then spread his wings to greet him.

"Amitabha." The golden light came close, and a lean and clumsy Buddhist Zen master with a wrinkled face, long eyebrows and short beard appeared. He was wearing a gray monk's robe and nothing else.

"Old Zen Master is here to see me." Mu Chenxing asked knowingly.

"All worries arise from the mind. If the mind is confused, the demonic obstacles will be difficult to eliminate. I have a volume of the "Many Hearts Sutra" and would like to pass it on to donors. Reciting this sutra can eliminate disasters and solve problems." The Zen master clasped his hands together and sincerely wanted to resolve them.

Disaster.

Mu Chenxing curled his lips, you started the dispute, and now you see that the situation is not good and you want to settle the dispute, why should I follow your wishes, I am not your father.

One volume of "Heart Sutra" just wants to send me away, how can it be so easy?

He asked with a smile but not a smile: "I don't know the Zen master's name? Who are you here to eliminate disasters for, and for whom are you solving problems?"

"I don't dare to bear the surname Gao, so the benefactor can just call me Wuchao. The old monk lives in Futu Mountain several hundred miles away. Hearing that the benefactor wanted to take this road to go west, he came here specially to persuade me. When will retribution be repaid? It's better to turn the war into friendship and avoid it.

Wouldn't everyone be happy if the calamity of all sentient beings in the three realms has been eliminated?" Zen Master Wuchao persuaded with compassion on his face.

But Mu Chenxing didn't believe a word of it. Now that you're going to turn the war into friendship, why did you go there? He said with a sarcastic smile: "It means I have some means, otherwise by the time the Zen Master thinks of eliminating disasters for all living beings, I will be dead long ago. You

Say yes, Ran Deng Ancient Buddha?"

With him destroying four Bodhisattvas in one battle, including three of the four great Bodhisattvas who were no less than Buddha, who among ordinary Buddhist monks would dare to seek death?

Ordinary golden immortals would not dare to lean against him.

The so-called Zen Master Wuchao is just an incarnation. If he comes to you at this time, Ran Deng is the most suspicious.

"Alas! The catastrophe is coming, no matter what, no what." Zen Master Wuchao neither admitted nor denied, sighed and shook his head, then took a deep look at Mu Chenxing and said: "Whatever you want, fellow Taoist, you may as well

To put it bluntly, why bother disturbing all living beings?"

He looked up at the sky and sighed: "At this time, this world may be in danger of overthrow. Fellow Taoists should be aware of it."

"The dispute was started by you. Who are you showing this compassionate look to? Isn't Buddhism the most important thing about cause and effect? You get whatever you sow, and no one should complain." Mu Chenxing knows what this world is like.

He also knows its shortcomings and fragility better than anyone else, but he doesn't care.

He said in a deep voice: "You have started the war, and I have the final say as to when it will end."

He didn't want to negotiate, just talk about trivial matters. His mental state was not good. He wanted to find a new world to relax, and he didn't provoke anyone. He didn't want to participate in the disputes between the locals. In the end, he was beaten up. If he hadn't been rational, he would have

Now, the earth has long been blown into space junk by him.

It's not like he doesn't have the means to destroy stars.

If the anger suppressed in my heart cannot be released, this matter will not be over!

"Alas! The old monk is waiting for you at Lingshan Mountain." Zen Master Wuchao clasped his hands together and bowed, and his body turned into a golden light and went straight to the west.

This incarnation cannot exert its full capabilities, and he is not here to fight.

And Mu Chenxing has no intention of taking action. There is no use in destroying an avatar.

While the two were talking, Sun Wukong and the Black Bear Spirit had already given up and were confronting each other in the ruins of Guanyin Temple.

It's interesting that this bear spirit didn't take the opportunity to escape.

Mu Chenxing asked thoughtfully: "Is Zen Master Wuchao your master?"

"I don't have that blessing."

This answer explained a lot of things. He should have taught me some skills, but he didn't receive them. He didn't bother to study them carefully and said softly: "I'm sorry."

With a slight wave of his finger, six rays of silver light flashed through, cutting the black bear spirit into dozens of pieces...

Now that we have determined that we are the enemy, there is no reason to let him go.

"Let's go, it's time to hurry up." He urged Little White Dragon and Sun Wukong who looked surprised.

"Fly to the northeast, to Mount Wutai." Sitting on the dragon's body, he decided on his next goal. Who stipulated that he must follow the route for Buddhist scriptures? He could go wherever he wanted.

Naturally, Xiao Bailong and Sun Wukong had no objections. After traveling thousands of miles, they quickly arrived at the place.

Mount Wutai is the dojo of Manjusri Bodhisattva and the last pillar of Buddhism in Nanfangbuzhou. When the sun turned west, a demon wearing black armor and fanning big black wings greeted us.

"You are so bold and evil, how dare you disturb the Bodhisattva's retreat place?"

A group of monk soldiers and guardian gods who guarded the mountain gate loudly scolded Mu Chenxing who was flying in the air.

"You are hiding in the formation and don't dare to come out? Comparing your energy with me is not a good choice." Mu Chenxing muttered in a low voice, and those other people were too lazy to pay attention to him.

Po Jun pointed downwards, the Heavenly Blade Judgment was launched, and golden-red high-energy photons rushed towards the Wutai Mountain Manjushri Dojo like a torrent.
