Chapter 36 Two-level reversal, the Four Saints begged me to learn from it

Having failed the test, Manjushri Bodhisattva stopped pretending. A flash of golden light flashed, he transformed back into his true form, and issued a stern scolding.

In his expectation, Tang Sen should be shocked and pale at this moment, then kneel in front of him, repent devoutly, and beg himself to forgive him.

I was about to take this opportunity to teach this scripture seeker a lesson. Tang Sanzang did not give him face when he was Jin Chanzi in his previous life. He used to embarrass himself in public many times because he was a disciple of Buddha. This time, he finally got into trouble.

Manjushri Bodhisattva raised a sneer at the corner of his mouth.

He lowered his head slightly, preparing to see Tang Sanzang crying and crying.

But I just saw Tang Sen's calm and calm face, and there was no wave in his eyes, as if he already knew.

"Puxian Bodhisattva, please show up too." Tang Sen said calmly, turning to look at Ai'ai next to him.

"Do you know it's me?" Puxian Bodhisattva turned back to his true form and asked with a shocked look on his face.

Impossible, his own transformation technique shouldn't be seen through? Samantabhadra couldn't figure out how Tang Sanzang knew his identity. Could it be... Guanyin?

Guanyin Bodhisattva's reaction just now was indeed not quite right.

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva couldn't help but feel suspicious in his heart.

"Tang Sanzang, do you know your sin?"

Now is not the time to think about these things. Samantabhadra Bodhisattva put these things behind his mind, floated in the air, stood with Manjushri Bodhisattva, and asked questions.

The Buddha's light is shining everywhere, the Sanskrit sounds are bursting, and the two Bodhisattvas Manjushri and Samantabhadra are emitting immeasurable light and are extremely sacred.

The questions that come out of his mouth are like God's interrogation, making people suddenly feel repentant.

Another person might have repented on the spot and devoutly admitted his mistake in front of this grand Buddha's light and thunderous questioning.

But Tang Sen's heart was unmoved, and he even wanted to laugh a little.

What are these two pretending to be? Like two idiots. The poor monk grew up under the light of the Buddha and fell asleep listening to the Buddha's sermons. You are embarrassing yourself with such a little trick?

"The poor monk doesn't know." His calm words shattered the arrogance of the two Bodhisattvas.

How dare he!

Manjusri Samantabhadra was really furious. Suddenly, the external situation changed, and the sky became overcast. Dark clouds as thick as ink and as heavy as lead pressed down the entire sky, as if they were weighing on everyone's hearts.

The golden light in the room suddenly flourished, and the sound of chanting came from the golden light. The phantoms of the monks appeared in the golden light, and they spoke one after another, as if they were accusing Tang Sen of not abiding by the rules and precepts, and breaking the precepts again and again.

What a thousand people mean!

Despite all the criticism, Tang Sen remained unmoved.

Seeing that the two Bodhisattvas were really angry, Zhu Bajie quietly came closer.

"Master, why don't we admit our mistake? A good man won't suffer the consequences. The Bodhisattva seems to be really angry."

"Bajie, it's none of your business if you go down. As a teacher, I have my own discretion in this matter. Don't worry, nothing will happen."

Tang Sen comforted Zhu Bajie back.

First of all, I am a destined scripture seeker and cannot be replaced unless Buddhism does not want to flourish; secondly, I am a disciple of the Tathagata, and these two people dare not touch me; thirdly, the journey to the West is now known to the three worlds, and I really give up on it.

, then Buddhism would be completely disgraced.

This is a rare place to live, Tang Sen is full of confidence, these two stupid Bodhisattvas dare not touch him, and they have to apologize to themselves!

Seeing that Tang Sen did not repent at all, Manjusri was furious. He held his palm in vain, and a whip emitting golden light appeared in his hand, and he was about to hit Tang Sen.

"Brother, calm down, calm down, it's not like that. He is a disciple of Buddha, so calm down." Samantabhadra Bodhisattva quickly grabbed Manjushri Bodhisattva's raised hand and urged him urgently.

Manjusri Bodhisattva, who was being held back, was also frightened for a while. He almost thought that Tang Sanzang was his disciples and taught him a lesson. If this fight continues, things may become really serious. It is his fault that Tang Sanzang did not give him face. Manjusri thought bitterly in his heart.

.

But he couldn't lose his face, so he put his hand down pretending to be embarrassed, but still had an angry look on his face.

"Puxian, I am doing this all for your sake, otherwise, I would have to teach Tang Sanzang a lesson."

"Okay, okay, calm down, calm down."

I still don’t know who you are! If I give you the steps, just get down quickly. What are you pretending to do there?

Although his eyes were full of contempt, he couldn't say it clearly, so he just spoke perfunctorily.

"Tang Sanzang, as a disciple of Buddhism, the first thing to do is to avoid sex. Now you have become interested in sex, and you have abandoned the great cause of Buddhism and ignored it, just for the sake of beauty. This crime is unforgivable!"

"Ah, yes, yes."

"I know that my sins are serious, that I have no blessings and virtues, and I go to the West to pray for the true scriptures. I have no shame to be a disciple of Buddhism anymore. I am determined to return to secular life, and I hope that the two Bodhisattvas will approve me."

Tang Sen was not false at all, his tone was as calm as ever, and there was even a slight smile on his face.

Two little Karami, who are you trying to scare? Are you still in trouble? Okay, let’s stop working.

I thought Tang Sen would be scared to death and beg for mercy in a panic, but what happened? Why was he not afraid at all?

Hearing Tang Sen's words again, the two Bodhisattvas Manjushri and Samantabhadra jumped in their hearts.

Hey, why doesn't this person play his cards according to the routine?

And asked them to allow Tang Sanzang to return to secular life? How dare they! If Tang Sanzang didn't go to get Buddhist scriptures, who would? Are they both on top of each other? This has to count!

The two looked at each other and communicated with their eyes.

'Quick, think of a solution, what to do, wait online, it's quite urgent.'

'What to do? How do I know what to do?'

The two of them were now defeated by an entire army, and they were a little bit stuck in a trap.

Manjusri looked unhappy just now, but now it was hard to give in, so only Samantabhadra came forward.

Thinking about it, Samantabhadra put a warm smile on his face again and said gently.

"Sanzang, although you said you did something wrong, it was not an unforgivable mistake. Don't say that again."

After a pause, he continued.

"We at Lingshan Group still believe in your abilities. There is a merit in traveling to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures. As long as you get rid of your lustful habits, the merits of traveling to the West will still be yours. When you reach the West, you will become a Buddha and become an ancestor, and you will be free and at ease."

Puxian Bodhisattva sang with a white face, showed kindness and power at the same time, and drew a big cake.

"You see, Manjushri Bodhisattva is angry with you. This is for your own good. You should not argue with him if you are angry. You have to understand us and apologize. I believe that Lord Manjushri Bodhisattva will also forgive you. This pilgrim

The position is still yours."

"Yes, as long as you find your way back, I will forgive you!" Manjusri Bodhisattva consciously sang with a red face, still with that angry expression on his face.

Looking at his teammates' assists, Puxian Bodhisattva smiled with satisfaction, "I'm not afraid that you won't take the bait this time."

"Thank you Bodhisattva for your kindness. I am serious this time. I fell in love with Lian Lian at first sight and I will never change it in this life. I'd better inform the Buddha about my plan for traveling to the west and find someone else."

This kid, why doesn't he eat anything? We've all given him a step, why don't you get down without knowing it!

Tang Sen's words made Manjushri Samantabhadra very angry, and at the same time, he felt worried in his heart.

If Tang Sen really gave up his job, if Buddha knew that it was the two of them who were responsible, he would probably be able to skin them both.

"Tang Sanzang, what do you want!" Manjushri Bodhisattva was so aggrieved that he couldn't help shouting and questioning.

"Bodhisattva, do you think our Buddhism is for all sentient beings?" Tang Sen did not answer directly, but asked a strange question.

"Of course it is for the sake of all sentient beings. All sentient beings in the three realms know that I am a Buddhist who is compassionate. This time I am taking you to the West to obtain scriptures. It is also to save all sentient beings in the three realms from the sea of suffering. My merits are immeasurable and I can make my own little contribution to this matter.

This is a supreme honor.”

Ignoring the second half of Manjusri's brainwashing words, Tang Sen continued to ask.

"Then letting all living beings experience happiness is also my Buddhist mission."

"Of course!" The answer was categorical. These were all dogmatic answers. There was no need for excuses at all. It was just right.

"Then let me ask Bodhisattva, why don't you let me return to the world and get married? I am happy, compassionate and happy. Isn't this the mission of Buddhism? Why do you say I made a mistake? Am I not a member of all sentient beings? Or are the sentient beings you refer to conditional?

Is it limited to some people?" Tang Sen asked again and again, confusing the two Bodhisattvas.

What he said makes sense, and I can't even refute it.

"But, you are a monk and a disciple of Buddhism, so you should abide by the rules and precepts. Otherwise, it would be chaos." Samantabhadra Bodhisattva's mind was thinking fast and he retorted.

"Pure rules and precepts? They are set to restrain individuals and for their own practice. So, let me ask Bodhisattva, do you think that all living beings or yourself are more important? Then what is the acquisition of Mahayana Buddhist scriptures? Huh?" Tang Sen pressed forward step by step and spoke.

Leading to the trap that he has set long ago.

Nonsense! Of course one's own practice is important! But this cannot be said.

The two Bodhisattvas could only sit there and say nothing.

However, we must not let Tang Sanzang return to secular life! If we really stop traveling to the west, the price paid by Buddhism will be too great. Thousands of years of planning and countless years of benefits will be in vain.

This is the bottom line for both of them.

"Well, what you said makes some sense, but Sanzang, you have to know that the most important thing for you now is to travel to the West to obtain scriptures and save all sentient beings. The matter of getting married is not unavoidable. After all, our Buddhist sect also has a precedent of the lineage of the Happy Buddha.

.”

The two Bodhisattvas have compromised. As long as you don't give up, these are all negotiable. What are the rules? The rules are not set by us Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Who dares to say anything!

"However, this marriage has to be consensual. You say yes or no." The two Bodhisattvas persuaded Tang Sen by explaining the facts and reasoning.

"But Manjusri Bodhisattva just yelled at me, which scared me. My legs are weak and I may not be able to walk. Are you still studying in the West?" Tang Sen said aggrievedly.

Manjusri's face turned red with anger, and he looked at Tang Sen's legs with a golden light in his eyes. Well, there was no problem at all. Not to mention there was no problem, but there was really a problem. After one treatment, he could immediately start jumping around.

For people at their level, weak legs is a problem? This is obviously deliberately looking for trouble.

"Tang Sanzang, don't bully others too much! There's obviously nothing wrong with your legs, there's nothing wrong with them at all!" Manjusri roared aggrievedly, with his red eyes and eyes that were looking for others to devour, extremely ferocious.

"Bodhisattva, I don't know if there is any problem with these legs growing on me. I just can't walk." Tang Sen said helplessly with a faint sigh, looking confident.

People had to bow their heads under the eaves. Although he was extremely aggrieved, Manjusri lowered his proud head for the first time in his life.

"I'm sorry, I spoke a little too loudly just now." His voice was as soft as a mosquito's moan.

"Ah? What are you talking about? I can't hear you! Louder!" Tang Sen's puzzled expression was extremely exaggerated, and he even put his right hand by his ear, as if listening.

"I said, I'm sorry! I just spoke a little too loudly!" Seeing Tang Sen's reluctance, Manjusri understood that he was destined to suffer today's insult, so he had no choice but to speak loudly.

Tang Sen nodded with satisfaction.
