1339 The Whale Siren

A cargo ship sailing at night cut through the sea.

Perhaps because it is close to the windless zone, there is not much night wind in this sea channel.

The sea surface was calm, and only the rumble of cargo ships could be heard as they sailed, as well as the undercurrents flowing from time to time on the seabed.

The sailor on the night shift on the deck yawned. Perhaps because the night was calm and the sea was calm, he had many thoughts in his mind. He suddenly thought that there were no islands nearby and he would not encounter pirates, so he could steal safely.

After a while, I thought about my wife and daughter in my hometown. Are they also asleep at this time? Will they meet in dreams...

As he thought about it, the sailor felt that his eyelids were drooping more and more.

Drowsy.

Suddenly, a buzzing sound sounded in my ears.

The sailor opened his eyes suddenly and looked around quickly, fearing that something would happen to him because of his sleep.

But after looking around, I didn't find anything out of place on the boat.

At this time, a water column sprayed out from the sea in the distance, and a milky white back was exposed on the sea. When the sailor saw this, he smiled slightly: "It turns out to be a beluga whale."

Belugas are gentle whales. Although they are huge, they are not interested in ships sailing on the sea. They usually eat small fish, shrimps and plankton.

The reason why the Baleen Sea is called "Whale Baleen" is because there are a large number of white whales here.

For people who make a living in this area, encountering beluga whales is not only not a disaster, it can even be called luck.

Sure enough, not long after, the beluga whale made another buzzing sound, which was exactly the same as what he heard before.

The sailor felt relieved and thought to himself: with the appearance of the beluga whale, the voyage would be safe and sound.

So, with this thought in mind, the sailor leaned under the mast again and half-squinted his eyes. Because he rested his head on the mast, his head was held high. In the half-squint, he could vaguely see the sky flashing.

A bright light passed.

The sailor opened his eyes in confusion. When he saw the truth of the bright light in the sky, his pupils suddenly shrank.

"What's going on? Why does such a thing appear in the sky..." The sailor rubbed his eyes to make sure he saw it correctly.

Immediately, his legs trembled with fright, and he rushed to the deck door. There was a companion sitting on the ground.

"Wake up quickly and look at the sky!" The sailor shook his companion anxiously, but he couldn't wake him up.

A burp came out, and the sailor smelled a strong smell of alcohol. Only then did he realize that there was a wine bottle next to his companion. Obviously, this guy was worse than him sleeping. Not only did he secretly drink while on duty, but he also drank

drunk!

The sailor couldn't help but spit, walked into the inner cabin, and knocked directly on the nearest door.

When the door opened, the sailor discovered that the room corresponding to the door belonged to the old navigator.

The old navigator was wearing pajamas and had obviously gone to bed. When he opened the door, his expression showed a hint of anger: "Why are you knocking on the door in the middle of the night? What's going on?"

The sailor nodded quickly: "There is a situation, no, I don't mean there is a situation at sea, it is in the sky!"

"A...door appeared in the sky!"

The old navigator followed the sailor out doubtfully. Although there was no strong wind outside, the low temperature still made him shiver.

Enduring the cold, he raised his head and looked at the sky

The night sky is very clear, with thin clouds and clear clouds, and occasionally a few bright stars can be seen.

Not to mention the door, not even a seabird was seen.

Faced with the doubtful and angry look of the old navigator, the sailor stuttered: "I just saw a door appear in the sky."

In order to deepen the power of his words, the sailor even simulated the situation at that time, leaning on the mast and looking up at the sky.

"I clearly remember that it was a door, which seemed to be shining... By the way, there was a small boat flying out from the door. The boat was very beautiful, with twinkling stars and a curved hull, like

The moon ship in the fairy tale book." The sailor described the scene at that time in detail, but the old navigator not only did not believe it, but also became even more angry.

"The captain arranged for you to be on duty outside. One of you was drunk, the other was sleeping in, and he woke me up in a dream to accompany you crazy! Let me tell you, I will go to the captain now and explain clearly what happened today!"

When the navigator saw the sailor leaning against the mast, he immediately judged that he was sleeping.

You just slept in secret, but you woke yourself up because of a dream, and the navigator was so angry!

He turned around angrily and walked towards the door.

But at this moment, a scream suddenly came from the sea not far away. The old navigator stopped and looked back, only to see the sea in the distance was churning. After a while, the body of a beluga whale floated.

stand up.

The most shocking thing is that there is an extra hole in the head of this beluga whale, and a large amount of blood sprays out, dyeing the sea surface even darker at night.

The sailor pointed to the white whale tremblingly: "This seems to be... the one from before?"

The old navigator carefully looked at the wound on the beluga whale's head, and seemed to remember something. His pupils shrank suddenly: "Oops, it's a whale-hunting siren! Quick, notify the sailors and turn the ship immediately!"

The sailor nodded quickly and ran in a hurry towards the observation deck, where there was a platform to communicate directly with the main control room.

However, before he could run to the observation deck.

Less than a hundred meters away from the freighter, a wave suddenly set off, and a male sea monster holding a trident stepped out of the waves!

The old navigator looked at the sea monster's scarlet eyes, which were full of cruelty and killing. He couldn't help but froze, and said unconsciously: "It's over..."

Whale-hunting sirens are generally male. They have a human-like appearance, but their ears are fin-shaped and have gills behind their ears. Their upper body is human-like, but below the waist they have a fish or snake tail.

Although they are said to be "whale hunting" sirens, it does not mean that they only hunt whales.

This is just a reference. Being able to hunt whales in the Baleen Sea means that they are at the top of the Baleen Sea food chain!

High in the sky, the gondola was covered by a layer of illusion.

Bobota was still in a trance. He was still in the windless zone before, but Angel suddenly waved his hand and summoned a door, and then they came to the outside of the windless zone?

"Is this your creation? But how could it be the space system?" Popota looked at Angel with surprise.

However, Angel did not answer. His face was very pale and he looked extremely tired.

Angel also didn't expect that the demonic source in his body would actually bottom out after he had just moved a few nautical miles away!

According to his estimation, this shouldn't be too far.

The effect of the door model is short-range spatial displacement, but it is said to be "close", but at least the range should be within a hundred miles!

As for his own magic source, although it is not full, it is almost 90% full.

As a result, after a transfer of several nautical miles, the source of magic bottomed out. This was something Angel had never expected.

According to the feedback he got from the door model, something was obviously wrong.

Angel raised his head and looked at Bobota who was still in shock across from him.

Could it be that it is because this spatial displacement brought other people with it?

Angel has no way of knowing for the time being and can only make a guess about it. The real situation will not be known until more experimental data is collected.

However, Angel was very fortunate that fortunately, the magic source had only bottomed out and was not yet exhausted or overdrawn. The latter two were equivalent to injuries. If it were more serious, the magic source might even be broken.

"Sure enough, any trick, even a magic trick, must go through rigorous testing before it can be used in practice." Angel sighed in his heart, using it so hastily, he almost hurt himself.

.

While Angel was thinking, a scream came from below.

Angel looked over in confusion, and then noticed that there was a whale-hunting sea monster controlling the sea, holding a trident, and attacking a cargo ship.

Seeing that Angel was unwilling to answer, Popota wisely stopped asking.

He also noticed the following situation and said in a low voice: "This is a male sea monster. It is the lowest level among sea monsters. It is also very weak. It can at most control the waves. But the male still has to fight with the female.

Sirens all have one thing in common, they like to eat humans, and the taste of human flesh is as good as delicacies to them."

"Actually, there are sea monsters that don't eat people." Angel replied casually, but he recalled the appearance of Silver Star in his mind.

As a snake-haired sea monster, Silver Star not only does not eat humans, but even has a much deeper affection for humans than humans themselves.

Bobota was silent for a moment: "I have never seen a sea monster that doesn't eat people. Even if there are, they are probably in the minority. But this group of people is very unfortunate. They encountered a sea monster that eats people."

Looking at the tragic scene below, Bobota sighed: "It's probably hopeless."

Angel: "Not necessarily."

Popota was stunned for a moment, and then realized what Angel meant: "Are you going to save them?"

Angel nodded slightly: "Exactly, I want to try a trick."
