1440 Target Anchor

As he watched the ghost ship in the sky move further and further away until it disappeared from sight, Angel still looked a little dazed.

He looked at the palm of his hand and could feel an energy wave still radiating ripples.

This ripple is unprecedentedly powerful.

He had just experimented casually before, what effect would the energy generated by the new magic vortex have on activating illusions? By the way, if it could help delay the Sky Ghost Ship for a while, it would be a double kill.

Angel really wanted to delay time and released an illusion on Sesebilas.

After the release, it was discovered that Sesebilas's resistance to illusions did not seem to be high, and Angel easily caused the huge scarlet eye to fall into a state of chaos and confusion.

Succeeding so easily made Angel decide to further control the illusion and guide Sesebiras away from the ghost ship in the sky.

In the end, it really succeeded.

The energy cost was much lower than Angel thought.

After his breakthrough, Angel knew very well that his current strength should have improved a lot. However, how much improvement was actually just a concept until he released this illusion... or even a very simple basic illusion.

Only then did Angel truly have a new understanding of the changes in his own strength.

There seems to be only a thin line between wizards and apprentices, but their abilities are worlds apart.

Saving the Sky Ghost Ship was a natural move, and Angel didn't think too much about it, but from Sanders's point of view, it actually had all the benefits and no harm.

It seems that Angel only saved the people on the Sky Ghost Ship, but in fact, all parties were involved behind it.

The Ghost Ship in the Sky does not belong to Wizard Ivan alone, nor does it belong to Silent Hill, but is shared by the entire Fairy Tale Town Wizards Alliance.

Once word spreads about Angel's rescue of the Sky Ghost Ship, it is actually a favor to the entire Fairy Tale Town.

Of course, this does not mean that all wizards in Fairytale Town owe Angel a favor.

But as long as someone accepts this love, the personal relationship can actually develop slowly like this.

For example, Wizard Ivan accepted Angel's love before. Originally, he had intended to establish a friendship with Angel, but now that he has accepted his love, he has become even more enthusiastic.

This does no harm to Angel.

When this was done, Angel and Sanders left the middle world with emotion.

Soon after, Angel and Sanders were hanging near the door vision in the void.

Even though it was the second time Sanders came, he still felt a subtle sense of shock when he saw the doors that were almost invisible to the end.

Although everyone's vision of creation is different, this was the first time he saw such a strange vision.

Perhaps it was because these visions came from Angel, and he didn't feel any weirdness at all. Walking between these gates, Angel felt very comfortable, as if he was at home like a fish in water.

Angel pushed open a delicate checkered wooden door and walked out of another wooden door of the same shape.

Several consecutive experiments gave Angel a sense of enlightenment.

These two corresponding doors may correspond to the spatial displacement effect in the door model? However, the door model effect formed by the special energy does not seem to appear in the vision.

Soon, Angel stood in front of the door that looked very ordinary, but in the whole world of doors, it was the most special.

Angel quietly observed the door. He indeed understood the door more than others.

However, understanding is understanding, he still doesn't understand the meaning of the existence of this door?

Why is the gift of truth given to this door?

Angel was lost in thought and stood silent for a long time, while Sanders stood behind him, waiting quietly.

After a while, Angel made a move. He stepped forward and pulled the doorknob, intending to push the door open.

Sanders' eyes also followed Angel. He was actually very curious as to what secret was hidden behind this door. But soon, doubts appeared in Sanders' eyes.

Because Angel couldn't open the door either.

After Angel found that he couldn't open the door, he took a few steps back again and looked at the door with strange eyes, sometimes frowning and sometimes stretching, as if he had discovered something, but when he thought about it carefully, he felt it was ridiculous.

After a while, Sanders saw Angel come back from his thoughts and asked, "What do you think of this door?"

Angel pondered for a moment and did not answer Sanders' question directly, but said: "This door is a gift of truth."

"The gift of truth?!" Surprise flashed in Sanders's eyes. He naturally knew what the gift of truth was. It was a compliment given by the will of the world. He himself had received it many times. But even if he knew what the gift of truth was,

What's the meaning? Sanders still feels strange. Why is it a door?

Speaking of gifts of truth, most of the time they are given to an idealistic self-state, and such external rewards are rarely given... at least Sanders has never heard of it.

"The instructor asked me how I should look at this door." Angel paused and said, "I don't know how to look at it, because I know this door very well, but the more I know about it, the more confused I become."

"Why?" Sanders asked curiously.

At this time, there was no one else in the void. Angel thought for a while, no longer concealed, and decided to reveal the function of this door.

"To me, this door is...a coordinate? A street sign? Hmm, it doesn't seem very accurate." Angel paused, as if he was looking for a suitable adjective. After a while, he hesitated.

The tone said:

"Target Anchor."

Target anchor? Sanders frowned. From a literal meaning, it is actually very similar to 'coordinates', both referring to a location. However, coordinates are more conceptual, while target anchor is a concrete representation.

However, Sanders still didn't understand what Angel wanted to express by using this word.

"Here it is, abiding forever."

"As long as I want, I can feel its presence anytime and anywhere."

Angel narrated quietly: "It is like a bright lighthouse. As long as I look back, I can see where it stands."

As Angel spoke, Sanders gradually understood what Angel wanted to express.

This door can actually be understood as a spatial landmark, but it is more specific than a spatial landmark. As long as you perceive this door, you will always know the way back, just as Angel described, in the dark

It is like an ever-bright beacon, guiding the way for those who are lost.

It sounds very good.

But judging from the performance, it's actually a bit tasteless.

As Sanders understands, a space beacon can completely replace the role of this door. No matter which world Angel goes to in the future, as long as he remembers the space beacon, he can always stay in the dark.

Lost.

"Besides, are there any other effects?"

Angel rubbed his brows and shook his head: "It seems there is no more."

Because of this, he hesitated when Isabel asked her before. In Angel's view, if the "gift of truth" only had this effect, it seemed unreasonable.

So, he came to the void in person and wanted to confirm it.

Facts show that this is really the only function!

At least Angel couldn't sense other effects.

"You said that his eternal existence means that this door will not disappear?" Sanders asked.

Angel nodded. He could not sense the phenomena of other doors, and they would disappear sooner or later. But this door is an anchor, fixed here and will not disappear.

Sanders was silent for a moment: "No matter what, at least it saves a space beacon, which is... not bad."

Sanders reluctantly boasted.

Angel shrugged. Originally, he thought that he would tell Isabel after he figured out what special effects this door had. But now it seems that there are no special effects.

Just tell Isabel directly when you get back.

"Indeed, a space beacon has been saved." Angel responded helplessly.

Unwilling to give up, Angel checked it carefully again, but still found nothing else. It seems that the gift of truth this time has probably really shrunk.

Angel thought back and thought that it was right. After all, there was only one model of the door.

He used a door model to deceive two visions of creation. Overall, he was not at a loss. At least, the "road" appeared, and this time the gift of truth was used as a space landmark, which is not a bad thing.

.

With this idea in mind, Angel felt a lot more at ease.

Since he found nothing, Angel himself relaxed and decided to leave the void. After all, he had just been promoted and still had many things to deal with.

Angel and Sanders turned and left.

However, just as they turned around and walked a few steps, a guttural chuckle suddenly came from behind them.

"Young man, long time no see~"
