1676 Sharu's thoughts

 Inside the Circular Library.

"We have all seen your performance. Your repentance is very sincere. The next time we see Master Thiessen, we will collectively go to him to plead for you."

The scholar stroked his long white beard and patted Salu on the shoulder.

The words of the old scholar also aroused the nods of other scholars around him. Shahlu has been in the library recently, helping them organize documents and materials and compile the history of Chuxin City. They are all very satisfied with Shahlu's performance.

Moreover, if such a beautiful thing as the return of the prodigal son were written by them, then not only would the story be written into books, but it could even be compiled into plays and passed down.

It also greatly improves their reputation.

Therefore, they were very happy to see Shalu's repentance, even more eagerly than Shalu himself.

Everyone's affirmation made Shalu look grateful on his face: "Thank you everyone, Master Thiessen is actually very good to me. It is said to be punishment, but in fact it just makes me reflect on myself. I am also very grateful to Master Thiessen."

After Shalu finished speaking, a group of scholars expressed their appreciation: "You can understand Master Thiessen's painstaking efforts and understand self-reflection, which already shows your repentance. I believe that Master Thiessen will also understand you."

Shalu nodded gratefully.

But when he lowered his eyebrows, there was a flash of ridicule in his eyes. These rotten scholars are really not smart, but this is just right. He can't persuade Thiessen, but these people might be able to.

Even if Thiessen still doesn't let him go, he can still alienate these people. When the time comes, he might be able to alienate a few people.

Thinking of this, Shalu sneered when no one was paying attention.

"Your eyes are changing so fast, as if you are acting. Are you an actor?" Suddenly, a young female voice sounded beside him.

"Who?" Shahru suddenly jumped up and looked up, only to see a little girl in red squatting on the ground, holding her head in her hands and looking at him innocently.

Shalu knew this girl in red, her name was Shani, and she came to the library often recently. She seemed to be Jon's student, studying singing at the Ocean Theater.

"Saru, what are you talking about?" The old scholar who had praised him before was immersed in sorting out documents. Hearing Saru's exclamation, he looked over in confusion.

Shalu waved his hand quickly: "No, it's nothing, I'm just playing around with Shanni."

After Shalu finished speaking, he turned around to show "goodwill" to Shanni, but when he turned his head, he didn't see Shanni. He looked around and finally found Shanni beside Jon.

Shanni was smiling at herself, but there was a hint of sarcasm in her smile. Jon also looked at him, but he was not smiling, but his eyes were full of meaning.

Shahlu didn't dare to look at Jon. In the whole library, he was most afraid of Jon. For some reason, he always felt that Jon's eyes could penetrate everything. Every time he looked at Jon, Shahlu felt like

It seemed as if all the secrets in his heart had been exposed to the sun, giving him the uncomfortable feeling of having nowhere to hide.

Shahrud avoided Jon's gaze and thought to himself: Has Jon discovered his thoughts?

Even if he is really discovered, it should be okay. This Jon doesn't seem to like the Taoist priest.

Sharu was thankful and continued to sort out the repetitive and boring information. Time passed in a blink of an eye. When the sky outside turned dark and the light of the stars and the moon reflected through the windows, all the scholars went home to rest.

Jon and Shanni were the last to leave. Before leaving, Shanni waved to Shalu: "Brother who is very good at acting, see you tomorrow."

The innocent tone came out of Shanni's mouth, but it had an evil smell. Shahlu felt a chill running down his back. Even when he faced the monster in his body before, he didn't feel this way.

Shalu looked at Shanni with a gloomy face as she slowly left. It wasn't until her back disappeared that Shalu dared to say to himself in a very low voice: "This dead kid..."

Not long after they left, the sound of "ta-da-da" footsteps came from the corridor outside.

Shalu knew that the footsteps should come from the guards.

He was not allowed to leave the library. During the day, he accompanied the old scholars to sort out materials. At night, guards would escort him back to the prison cell.

The prison cell he lived in was actually just like a prison, with only one bed. It was narrow and cramped, with no windows, and the only ventilation hole was the palm-sized hole in the iron door.

Shahruh hated the prison cell very much. In order to get out of the prison cell, he made a promise to Thiessen not to reveal his behavior during this period. This gave him the opportunity to accompany the old scholar in sorting out information during the day.

"Stay here for a while longer, and after I have completely instigated those nerds, I will have a chance to leave here." Shalu's eyes flickered, waiting for the guards to come in and take him back to the prison cell.

crunch

The door was pushed open.

Those who walked in from the outside were indeed two guards who were familiar with each other. Cellul immediately put on a flattering smile and greeted them as usual.

According to past situations, the guards might not be so friendly, but they would at least nod when faced with Shalu's smile. But something was strange today. The two guards looked rigid and serious. Not to mention nodding, they didn't even move the corners of their mouths.

When Shahrul was suspicious, two people walked out from behind the guard.

With the soft white moonlight shining in, Shalu could clearly see their faces.

"Ah, distinguished master of the new world, and Master Thiessen." Sharu saluted respectfully.

Those who came were none other than Angel and Froud.

Shalu felt a little nervous and didn't know why they came. He had heard a rumor that Shanni seemed to have a close relationship with Master Thiessen...could it be that the dead kid snitched on them after he left?

What should we do if we are really tipped off? Shalu's mind was spinning rapidly, thinking about how to deal with it.

However, all the countermeasures Cellul thought of were of no use in the end. Because, without waiting for Angel and Froud to reply, he was directly held up by the guards and blindfolded...

Shalu felt as if he was being taken out of the library. He didn't know where he would go. He asked repeatedly and even begged for mercy, but he didn't get any response.

Except for feeling the huge force on his shoulders as the guards clamped down on him, his world was dark.

Later, I couldn't even feel the restraining power of the guards.

"Huh? No one is restraining him anymore?" Shalu moved, feeling as if his hands were free. A joyful look flashed across his face, and he quickly reached out and pulled down the cloth that covered his eyes.

Just when the blindfold was pulled away, Shalu vaguely saw Froud's figure, but the next second, he felt as if his body fell from a tall building and fell into an abyss.

"Could it be that I was taken to the top of the Sky Tower and pushed down?" Salu's expression flashed with panic, and at the same time, his eyes turned into chaotic darkness again.

When the feeling of weightlessness after falling from the building disappeared, Shalu slowly came back to his senses.

There seems to be no pain? Am I not dead?

While Shalu was thinking to himself, a strange fragrance floated into his nose.
