1977 Bone Guard

Angel stared at the thick fog created by the aura of the nightmare world. As he stared deeper, Angel seemed to see tall stone towers, dark wasteland cities, ancient castles covered with rose vines... and so on.

A bizarre sight.

They are all scenes from the nightmare world.

Shine into the illusion and project reality. This is a sign of the extremely strong atmosphere of the nightmare world.

Tree Spirit: "Let's go down, they are all waiting for you on the island. By the way, follow me later, and be sure to avoid the thick fog. Although Rhine is often cleaned, there are always some living threads and parasites lurking inside.

"

Although Angel did not feel the threat of the thick fog, and even felt a vague sense of intimacy, he still followed the tree spirit's words and nodded.

When the tree spirit and Angel flew towards the island, they would inevitably pass by the edge of the thick fog.

Under such close contact, Angel could more clearly sense the majestic breath in the thick fog. Feeling the breath of the nightmare world that could almost make people addicted, Angel couldn't help but whisper: "Can

With such a strong aura of the nightmare world, it seems that the half-passage inside this ruins may have been completed."

Bypassing the thick fog, the tree spirit and Angel quickly landed on the island.

Stepping on the gravel beach, the tree spirit raised his head and looked at the thick fog covering the night sky. His eyes were a little confused: "Why did it feel like the thick fog became more active when we fell just now? It's not like this during the day. Could it be that, in a short time?

Is the internal active line erupting again?"

The tree spirit was a little puzzled, but he didn't think much about it. He would go to the ruins later to have a look. Even if the living line erupts, now that Sanders is here, it can be controlled within a certain range.

While the tree spirit looked up at the mist, Angel was looking at the environment on the island.

It was obscured by fog in the sky, so I couldn't see clearly. After it actually fell, I realized that this was not actually an island, but at most a peninsula. There was a small tail on the north side of the island, connecting it to the vast wilderness.

The island is not big, and there are no trees. To be precise, there are almost no plants. The entire island is made of small gravels, which can be seen at a glance.

Although the existence of any ruins could not be seen with the naked eye, through his mental vision, Angel could clearly perceive that there was a layer of illusion barrier specially set up in the center of the gravel beach.

The illusion barrier is perfectly constructed and blends in with the surroundings, making it difficult for others to notice. However, the fluctuations of the illusion nodes can be hidden from others, but obviously they cannot be hidden from Angel.

The wisps of nightmare aura escaping from the top of the illusion barrier have actually revealed its identity.

Come to think of it, behind the illusion barrier, there should be that weird ruins.

While Angel was observing the illusion barrier, the ground not far away suddenly began to vibrate, and with a series of clicking sounds, a white bone hand stretched out from the ground.

Soon, a hole appeared in the gravel ground. A white skeleton with a staff in its hand and full of death breath stood in front of them.

Without any nonsense, the skeleton waved his staff, and a black light rushed towards Angel. Finally, a small crater was exploded two meters in front of Angel.

The skeleton's dark eyes were always staring at Angel. If he really attacked, it would be impossible to miss him. Obviously, he had no intention of attacking Angel, it was just a warning.

"This is a forbidden area, you are not allowed to go any further." A faint voice reached Angel's ears.

Angel didn't know what was going on with this skeleton. It looked like it was arranged by the Savage Cave. He turned to look at the tree spirit, wanting to see what the tree spirit said.

However, the tree spirit pinched the bridge of his nose at this time, frowned and whispered: "It seems that guy Duncan is lazy again..."

After finishing speaking, the tree spirit said to Angel: "This skeleton is the bone guard summoned by Duncan. Duncan took over the task of guarding and stayed at the ruins during this period. However, he set up a research institute next to the ruins.

If you are lazy, you just let the Bone Guard drive away people. The Bone Guard will only obey orders and will not recognize people. Even if they come from Rhine, they will be stopped by the Bone Guard."

After the tree spirit finished speaking, he gently raised his hand, and a green vine came out from the ground, binding the Bone Guard tightly.

"Ignore it, let's go." The tree spirit said, and took the lead to walk forward. When passing by the Bone Guard, he added a vine along the way and peeled off the staff from the Bone Guard's hand.

Play with it in your hands.

Angel walked beside the tree spirit and glanced at the staff: "This is a necromantic staff made of the bones of the deceased and requiem stones. The Bone Guard can release death energy attacks because

The reason for this staff is that the quality seems to be good, and the level of the refiner is not low."

Angel made a professional comment and asked in passing: "Why did Lord Tree Spirit take away its staff?"

The tree spirit laughed beside him: "You think this staff may only be able to see, but to Duncan, this staff is his treasure. Since he dares to be lazy, let him taste the price of being lazy."

Angel: "..." A bit naive, right?

The tree spirit waved his magic staff and asked Angel: "By the way, when we descended earlier, I heard you muttering about the passage being opened. What do you mean?"

Angel pondered for a moment: "Although I didn't see the dome, the aura of the nightmare world here is so strong that it almost turns virtual into reality. It is estimated that there is already a half-passage to the nightmare world inside the ruins."

In other words, the interior of the ruins may have become a mezzanine space. In fact, to a certain extent, it can also be regarded as under the dome.

For ordinary wizards, the level of danger in the ruins is no less than that of the various domes in the Kingdom of Eternal Night.

The tree spirit didn't know much about the half-passage, but he understood what Angel said: "You mean, there is a passage inside that connects to the nightmare world?"

"You could say that."

"In that case, what Tuvalu said, that he saw those creatures from the nightmare world running into the ruins carrying space magic materials, was it to open such a half-passage?" The tree spirit immediately thought of Maya's report to them not long ago.

prophecy.

Angel thought for a moment: "It's hard to say, because the opening of the half-passage is..."

Just when Angel was about to express his thoughts, a ripple like water ripples suddenly appeared in the illusion barrier in front of him, and then, a dark figure hurriedly stepped out of the ripples.

"Who is it? Take my staff!"

The hoarse voice resounded throughout the island.

After shouting angrily, his eyes wandered around and finally settled on the two people walking towards the illusion barrier.

When he saw the Bone Guard's staff being played back and forth by an almost naked young man, the arrogance he had been shouting about before was instantly extinguished.

"It turns out to be Lord Tree Spirit..."
