55 Meeting

Among the stars, cloud whales shuttle through thin clouds.

If it weren't for the surrounding clouds and mist that kept appearing and disappearing, Angel wouldn't have felt the whale moving in the clouds at all.

If he could also own a large mount like the Cloud Whale, could he travel around the world with his brother and mentor?

Angel's idea is beautiful, but he probably doesn't know that the cost of feeding cloud whales is even more than the annual expenses of a small wizard organization.

While Angel was thinking about it, Flora had already taken him outside the gorgeous tent where Sanders was.

"Go in, the instructor is waiting for you."

Angel thought Flora would go in with him, but Flora seemed to have no intention of going with him.

Opening the curtain of the tent, Angel walked in politely.

The tent looked small, but the space inside was really large. Angel guessed that there might be some kind of space witchcraft inside, because he found that the black tent cloth was flashing with golden runes.

"Are you surprised?" Sanders was still dressed in a black dress, sitting in front of the desk with his legs crossed. He was not wearing gloves, his smooth and slender fingers were clasped together, and he looked at Angel through his golden unilateral glasses.
"Teacher, good evening." Angel followed the aristocratic etiquette and made an arm-in-arm salute.

"There is no need to be restrained. As a student of Sanders, you should have your own character. I don't want to train students who don't even know who they are." Sanders finished, "I'm surprised that the space here is better than what it looks like from the outside.

Does it look big?"

"Well. Is this what a wizard does?"

"It's a wizard's method, but not all wizards can do it, including me." Sanders picked up his cane and pointed to the golden runes on the tent cloth: "If you want to extend the space, it's not a simple step.

It can be explained that a lot of things were used in it. The material of the tent cloth is a product of alchemy, and the flashing symbols on it are magic patterns that stabilize the space."

"Just to achieve these two steps, you need to be proficient in alchemy and magic patterns. As for how to extend space, it is another subject." Sanders: "This is a wizard. Many things cannot be summarized in a simple sentence. You

Are you ready to enter the world of wizards?"

Sanders' few simple words made Angel feel like a shining golden door had opened in front of him. Behind this door was another world different from the current world, full of formulas and symbols, dangers and opportunities.

, the beginning and the end, the world of truth and philosophy, its name: Wizarding World.

Angel nodded heavily. He was already ready. Even if it wasn't for his mentor, he still wanted to step into the world of wizards. If the journey of life is not exciting, he would rather die!

Sanders nodded with satisfaction. Even though he accepted Angel because his talent was of great use to him, now that he has become his student, he must be responsible for Angel's future.

"I estimate that the apprentice named Moro once gave you popular science knowledge about wizards. So, what I want to tell you now is... If you want to embark on the path of a real wizard, then from today on, forget

Everything that person said, wizard is not a definition, you have to see it yourself, think about it by yourself when you encounter problems, and find your own path as a wizard."

Sanders led Angel to a cubicle. There were more than ten rows of double-sided bookshelves filled with books. Each bookshelf was four or five meters high. There was a pulley on the aisle in the middle of the bookshelf.

The rolling ladder.

"How to look at it, how to think about it, that's another question." Sanders pointed to the full bookshelf: "Before that, you have to understand a lot of basic things. These are my private collections. After returning to the barbaric

Before entering the cave, this place will be open to you around the clock. You can see and learn whatever you want. But I want to remind you first that you only need to understand the guidance methods and some low-level tricks here. It is best not to go there rashly.

Learn.”

"Of course, if your goal is just to be promoted to a wizard, then it's up to you whether you want to learn or not."

After Sanders finished speaking, he threw him a gold coin. On the front of the gold coin was a row of universal text in squiggles: "The rose is undefeated and the glory lasts forever."

On the back is a pattern: a long sword with its wings spread out, stuck on a rose of thorns.

This was a typical aristocratic emblem. Angel looked at Sanders with some confusion, wondering why he threw this emblem to him.

"This is the tent's pass. With it, you can enter here at will. If you don't have the pass, a backlash from the magic energy array will turn you into dust."

A living person turned into dust? Angel shuddered suddenly when he thought of that scene. He did not expect that entering a tent would be dangerous... As expected, everything belonging to the wizard needs to be faced with caution, otherwise,

One misstep will lead to eternal hatred!

"Okay, now you want to go back or stay here, it's up to you."

Angel saw that Sanders' words meant leaving. When he came here today, his biggest doubt had not yet been solved, so he quickly said: "Tutor, can I ask a question?"

Sanders turned back and smiled at Angel.

In Angel's expectant eyes.

"No."

Sanders turned around and left.

When Sanders smiled, Angel fully thought that he would get permission. He had even thought about the wording of the question, but he didn't expect that Sanders refused without mercy and left without hesitation.

By the way, is he being teased?! If you don’t give me hope, you’re just smiling!

Watching Sanders leave, Angel felt filled with resentment.

"I know what you want to ask, and I will tell you when you become a wizard's apprentice." Sanders' ethereal voice reached Angel's ears from a distance.

Sanders left. Angel thought he would get the answer today, but he still found nothing.

It seems that the uneasy mood will continue. However, this time I have gained something from coming here. It is also a pleasure to read here without a tablet. Not to mention, the books here are all related to wizards.

, for Angel, who has received scientific education for more than ten years, this is definitely a feast of collision and integration of old and new knowledge.

Looking at the rare books, Angel felt as if he was flying into the clouds.

However, what makes Angel a little confused is that there are not many rare leather volumes here, most of them are bound pulp and paper volumes.

In the Golden Bird Empire, leather scrolls were a recording method particularly favored by the upper class, while pulp and paper bound volumes were more popular among ordinary people. The price gap between the two was huge, which also proved the preciousness of leather scrolls.

.

However, there are very few rare leather volumes in Sanders's collection, and they are all piled in corners. If you look closely, you can find a thick layer of dust on them, which shows that Sanders does not attach much importance to rare leather volumes.

.

There are more than ten rows of bookshelves, 95% of which are bound pulp and paper volumes.

"Could it be that pulp and paper volumes are the mainstream media in China?" Angel randomly picked up a thick pulp and paper volume.

Book title "Comment on Fifteen Popular Meditation Methods in the Sleepless Kingdom".

Meditation is actually a guidance method. In ancient times, it was more commonly known as meditation. In modern times, due to the rise of the ideographic school, the "meditation method" with a touch of spiritualism was renamed "guidance method" by some people. Later, after it spread, wizards felt that

The guidance method is also quite appropriate and is still used.

There is an interesting story about the name. There was a wizard apprentice, who perhaps could not stand the boring method of guidance. One day, he published a refutation in a small journal for wizard apprentices. The content was ridiculous and not worth reading.

was mentioned, but its aftermath led to a "war" that lasted for many years.

It’s the famous name dispute between “guidance method” and “meditation method”.

It's probably the Wizard's version of the battle between salty and sweet tofu. In fact, everyone is watching the show with a joking attitude, occasionally fanning the flames.

Later, even some official wizards were dragged into this mud, causing the wizarding world in the Southern Region to laugh and cry.

The wizard apprentice who originally published the refutation probably didn't expect it to cause such an "uproar".

……

After Angel opened the book, he found that the paper inside was white and smooth, the paper pulp was fine and there were no convex marks, and the black printing was clearly visible. Compared with the yellowing and gray paper in the Golden Bird Empire, it was many times better.<

/p>

Angel only read it for a while, and his prejudice against the pulp-paper version was completely dispelled.

This paper print is so clean and clear, and smells of ink and oil. All book lovers will love it!

Angel felt that reading with such a book would make him feel much happier. No wonder the instructor’s rare leather volumes were gathering dust on the bookshelves!
