651 The Implications of Illusion

When Greya almost walked around the Witch Town, she roughly understood what the "Nightmare Amusement Park" on the sign meant.

In the heavy fog, Greya could not find her way at all. But the dense fog was very strange, as if it were alive, and it actively guided Greya to buildings one after another.

Every building is empty. But every item inside tells a nightmare story.

For example, in a slaughterhouse that Grea went to not long ago, the machete inserted on the chopping board made Grea experience a nightmare of being chased by a butcher.

Also, the half-open scripture in the church made Greia feel like she was transformed into a condemned heretic witch, being burned in flames while listening to the bloody and evil teachings.

In addition, the windbreaker of the single-family house missing one arm, the paper thrown all over the floor of the city hall, the brilliant hazy flower trees in the garden...etc., can all become a "nightmare" on their own.

And put together it's a nightmare amusement park.

Just like in the feather earrings, the objects that Greya saw were full of meaning, making people unconsciously imagine dramas. But this time Angel went a step further.

This time, Leia used the form of "nightmare" to personally experience the story she imagined.

"This can be considered a new idea." Greya murmured to herself in a low voice. She had two requirements for Angel: first, to feel like integrating into the nightmare world; second, to have a new idea.

From her experience in Witch Town alone, she was actually consistent with these two points. The first point was very consistent. This rich feeling of the nightmare world moved her even more than the mountainside in the feather earrings.

As for the second novelty, although the form of "nightmare" still has some shortcomings, if we really want to judge it, it can still be regarded as an innovation.

Moreover, the experience in Witch Town made Greya feel very happy.

When she was still a mortal, she had nightmares. Now after so many years, she rarely has nightmares.

Although she didn't actually find these nightmares scary, Angel's manipulation of "emotions" was simply astonishing. Even though she didn't find them scary, in these nightmares, Greya still felt her heartbeat speeding up and she was sweating.

.

Although there are still some places she has not visited, Greya plans to leave Witch Town and visit other places.

But she searched for a long time, but couldn't find the stone pile or copper bell that could call the cat bus.

Greya recalled the umbrella-holding civet cat she met on the trail. The place it was standing at that time should be the platform...but next to it was not a "stone pile and a copper bell", but an iron road sign.

Could it be that the platforms in each place are actually different?

Greya stayed in Witch Town for a long time, but still couldn't find the platform. She thought about it and simply exited the illusion.

After Greya exited the illusion, she calmed down a little. Although those "nightmares" were just dreams, they also brought her some emotions. If it were realistic, Angel would naturally not be able to do this, but she had to go through the illusion.

, she must let go of her mental power, and this gave Angel the ability to control her emotions.

After a while, Greya reactivated the dream twins.

She thought she would return to the original path in front of the cave, but she didn't...she still stayed in the mist of Witch Town.

"It's different from the fantasy setting in the feather earrings." Greya whispered. Is this recording information about her previous experiences? How did he do it?

Greya still knows something about illusions, but she has never seen an illusion that can be "continued" like this.

"But it's quite interesting." Greya didn't think much about it. Since she couldn't leave by cheating, she continued to look for it. After all, it was a platform, so it shouldn't be placed in an inconspicuous place.

But Gloria was wrong.

Two hours later, Greya entered a lonely cabin. She had passed by this cabin many times, but she had never entered it. She thought that the platform should not be placed in a cabin, right?

Reality slapped her hard in the face.

The platform is not only inside the cabin, but also very inconspicuous!

There is nothing in this lonely wooden house, only a lonely oil painting hanging on the wall. And in this lonely oil painting is a...lonely platform.

Greya twitched her lips: "Don't tell me that the platform in this painting is the Cat Bus platform."

Greya reached out and touched the painting. The next second, she found that she was pulled into the painting by a strange force and stood in front of the platform.

At the same time, a familiar sound of running footsteps of wild beasts was heard in the distance.

Greya raised her head and looked into the distance. On the road shrouded in thick fog, two rays of light penetrated the fog and came running towards her.

When the orange tabby cat jumped out of the mist, Greya rubbed her swollen temples: Angel, you are so good at playing!

This orange cat is undoubtedly Cat Bus.

When Cat Bus saw someone on the platform, it immediately stopped and turned its huge head with bright eyes: "Beautiful lady, Cat Bus is at your service."

Greya was wondering, why didn't Cat Bus ask her where she was going?

She looked up and saw a little girl with two braids in the belly of the Cat Bus, looking out curiously.

Are there any guests?

The words that originally came to Greya's mouth turned around and asked the cat bus: "Where is the destination of this bus?"

"The destination of this trip is the tree nest."

Greya thought for a while: "Okay, I'll go to the tree nest too."

Cat Bus nodded, opened the plush door, and lowered the ladder. Greya stepped onto the ladder and sat on the seat directly opposite the little girl.

Only then did Greya see the little girl's appearance clearly. To be honest, Greya thought the little girl looked very much like Shan, but compared to Shan, the girl was shorter, estimated to be less than one meter tall.

And although Shan looks like a girl, she is actually very old, which can be seen from her mature eyes. The eyes of the little girl in front of her are ignorant, childish, and innocent, which is obviously different from Shan.

"Why did Angel create this girl in the fantasy world? Could it be that he has any special hobbies?" Greya looked at the girl opposite curiously.

But the girl had no reaction.

The cat bus started to fly. The little girl seemed not to notice Greya at all. She was still standing happily on the seat. However, the market was like this. She was still a little short from the window. She could only hold the window edge with her chubby little hands. He kept raising his feet and looked at the scene outside the window.

The cool breeze blew in, blowing the girl's braid.

She didn't seem to feel cold at all, but instead laughed happily and shouted loudly out the window.

Greya brushed back her somewhat messy hair and looked back out the window. It was still foggy outside, and she didn't know what the girl was excited about.

Greya tried to talk to her, but as expected, she got no response. The girl seemed completely unaware that there was anyone in the carriage.

"It's like a ghost image." Greya murmured in a low voice.

But thinking about it on the other hand, maybe in the eyes of the girl, Grea is actually like an illusion, in a world that does not exist.

"Perhaps this is a story line set up by Angel? But what's the point of a mortal story line?" Greya can see that this girl is just a mortal. Does she still need to spend time to see the story of a mortal? Story?

When you get to the tree nest, just call the cat bus to the next place, but where to go? Forget it, just choose whatever you want.

At this time, the Cat Bus finally ran out of the fog.

The little girl sitting opposite her screamed even more cheerfully, like an ape howling excitedly when seeing vines hanging from a tree.

Greya shook her head. Although she hated the noise, everything in front of her was just an illusion and she was too lazy to care about it. She turned and looked out the window. After the fog passed, she saw the soft moon again.

Outside is the farmland under the moonlight.

Moreover, there is no mountain cover, and the outside scenery can be roughly seen just by relying on the moonlight.

"It is indeed the realm of mortals, so is that tree nest a village of mortals?" Greya frowned.

When she was confused, a burst of melodious music came from somewhere.

This is a song that Greya has never heard before, but it sounds inexplicably pleasant, making people think of the gentle moonlight involuntarily.

The music is soft and fits the mood of the moment. Cat Bus jumps over mountains and seas, moonlit forests, and the innocence of childhood.

At this moment, Greya suddenly understood Angel's intention.

The cat bus stopped, and the little girl jumped away. The person who picked her up outside was a girl who looked somewhat similar to her.

Greya didn't get off the bus and let the cat bus continue to move forward.

Behind the cat bus, the two sisters hugged each other and ran happily towards a giant tree. Above the giant tree, there was a strange gray beast floating in the air.

Greya saw this scene and roughly guessed that the story line of this tree nest was centered on these two sisters, and that the gray beast probably played some role in it.

But knowing it, Greya still has no plans to explore now.

She roughly understood Angel's settings for each area. Witch Town represented "awe of fear", while the tree nest may represent "not forgetting the original intention."

After walking for many years, she seemed to have forgotten the appearance of her original intention. But just now, she felt faintly touched in her heart, as if she saw herself when she was young.

She did not let herself explore. She wanted to browse the entire fantasy area before deciding her next move.

The cat bus continued to move forward. At the "Mermaid Sea", Greya saw the waves of the sea, and she vaguely felt that there was a strong atmosphere of the nightmare world at the bottom of the sea. At the "Sky Island", she saw a piece of steel ruins. What is the secret?

She didn't explore either...

Greya had a panoramic view of each area.

But she never stopped and let the cat bus continue moving forward.

On the way, Greya met several passengers on the bus, with different costumes, different identities, and different expressions. Some were silent, some were scared, and some had worried faces... Maybe each passenger has his or her own.

Storyline.

At the last stop, Greya arrived at a place called "Mysterious Mountain".

This is a barren mountain.

Just when Greya was wondering what this mountain meant, a gust of wind blew in from outside the carriage.

When the wind blew against Greya's skin, she suddenly stood up from her seat... How could it feel like this?!
