771 Dead Island

When Angel opened the leather paper, he raised his eyebrows slightly: "It's actually a page from the logbook. I didn't expect that there is a missing article here."

"The eighth day of the first ten days of the cold month of Shuojin 1353."

"I died quietly at the bottom of the well, but unfortunately my treasure is still far away. I hope my descendants can find my treasure. That is the only glory I leave to you."

There was only such a brief record on this piece of paper. Moreover, Angel saw some clues from the date.

The date when Lucas jumped into the well is: the sixth day of the first ten days of the cold month of Shuojin, 1353.

This record was written two days after he jumped into the well. In other words, this piece of paper stuffed in the drawer is the last page of Lucas's logbook!

When Angel finished reading this last diary, he was a little confused.

"Lucas claimed that he died quietly at the bottom of the well, but his bones were clearly on his Feather Fan?" Could it be that someone else had brought Lucas's bones here?

Also, Lucas hoped that his descendants could find his treasure, which happened to be the reason why his descendants used their blood to activate the magic energy array at the bottom of the well and came to this strange area.

So according to what he said in his diary, is there any treasure he has in this weird place?

Is Lucas lying in this last diary entry, or is he truly recording his feelings after jumping into the well?

There is another question that Angel has not figured out so far: Is Lucas a liar or an honest person?

After thinking about it for a long time, Angel put away this last diary. He planned to see if there was any hidden treasure that Lucas mentioned. When he turned around, he caught a glimpse of the man sitting on the bench.

Skeletons.

The headless skeleton looks a bit weird.

There were still some strips of cloth on the skeleton, but it was obviously corrupted. Angel picked up the skeleton and inspected it for a moment, but found no clues.

"This skeleton is most likely that of Lucas, but why is the head missing?" Angel murmured in confusion, and finally shook his head in confusion and left.

After stepping out of the captain's cabin, Angel quickly went down to the cabin.

There was overflow in the cabin, which happened to bury half of the Ling Fan, and many rooms were submerged in the water. This reminded Angel of something. When he encountered the Ling Fan in the foggy area of the Devil's Sea, it

It is strangely suspended above the sea, and the rooms inside have obvious signs of being submerged by water, which is very consistent with today's ship cabins.

Angel carefully checked the waterlogged area in the cabin, recalling the soaking condition of the Ling Fan when he used the Exploration Puppet.

The two phases correspond to one, Angel can be very sure. Why the Ling Fan showed signs of being submerged in the sea when it appeared in the foggy area is because it has actually been staying here, but he doesn't know why it suddenly appeared in the foggy area.

.

So can it be deduced that the Ling Fan disappeared mysteriously and actually returned here again?

But, what exactly is this place? How did the Ling Fan leave from here, and how did it come back?

With doubts in his mind, Angel flew out of the cabin, hung above the bow of the ship, and held a fluorite lamp to shine around.

Directly in front of him was a pitch-black area, and he couldn't see what was going on. Below was the silent sea water. Angel turned around and looked at the back of the Ling Fan. Although this side was also dark, the fluorite

When the weak light produced by the lamp shines in this direction, there will be a short distance gap.

Angel flew over and unexpectedly discovered that there was a cliff behind the Ling Fan.

It was also at this time that Angel noticed that the Ling Fan was actually on the edge of a small island, stranded in a pile of rocks near the coast.

"Lucas's treasure is on this island?" Angel asked himself in his heart.

He did not land on the island immediately, but turned his spiritual power into tentacles and explored the sea. He always felt that the ocean was too quiet, as if it had lost all life.

When Angel flew to a certain distance from the Feather Fan and was in the open sea, his spiritual tentacles slowly descended.

The information fed back from the sea water was, as he had expected, completely silent. There were no ocean currents, no undercurrents, no information about living creatures, and no biological wave frequencies were picked up. This was a truly dead sea.

Withdrawing his spiritual tentacles, Angel did not dare to fly to the outer sea. Not to mention whether there was any danger in the outer sea, with his insensitivity to the direction of the sea, he was afraid that he would not be able to find his way back if he went too far.

Therefore, Angel returned to the place where the Ling Fan ran aground.

Awakening Toby who was sleeping in his pocket, he signaled it to turn into a griffin: "Pay attention to protecting my physical body, I will use my soul body to explore the area."

Toby was still in a daze. Somehow he slept all night and ran to the sea again.

Angel explained the current situation in a low voice, and Toby finally reacted. Hearing that there was a hidden treasure here, Toby's eyes immediately lit up, and he nodded without hesitation, as if "I have everything in his hands"

appearance.

Angel shook his head and smiled, and his soul immediately left his body, and his body was wrapped in gray gravity veins by Tobi.

"I'm just going to check if there is any sign of the magic energy formation nearby." After Angel said that, he started searching around the Ling Fan.

Logically speaking, the magic energy array of the two-way channel should not be too far from the exit. Angel first searched the nearby beach for a while and did not see any sign of magic patterns.

I dived into the bottom of the sea again and found nothing, but I saw a few skeletons hidden in the dust.

There is no identification information on these remains, but judging from their location, it is very likely that they fell from the Ling Fan.

Perhaps these skeletons were once sailors on the Winged Fan?

There is no place under the sea, and the only place Angel can explore is the cliff.

He flew close to the direction of the cliff and searched back and forth, but found no clues. Just when he was wondering if he had made a mistake in his judgment, Toby, unwilling to be left alone, suddenly called out to him.

Angel followed the sound and found that Toby had brought his body to the bottom of the cliff at some unknown time. Beside it, there was a dead tree.

When Angel was thinking about the meaning of Toby calling him here, his eyes suddenly lit up. There was a hidden cave behind the dead tree!

Could it be said that the transmission channel is in the cave?

Angel flew into the cave out of curiosity. The cave was not deep. Under the light of fluorite, Angel quickly reached the end of the cave. In Toby's eyes, there was nothing here, just an abandoned place.

The cave looked disappointed. But in Angel's eyes, it was filled with a faint glow.

The familiar magic energy array on the wall made his heart finally fall.

There is indeed a passage back here, but I didn't expect it to be hidden in such a secret cave.

Angel returned to his physical body. Now that he has found a way back, his worries are finally solved and he can explore the island with peace of mind.

Angel took the excited Toby and walked out of the cave.

Just when he was about to arrive at the entrance of the cave, Angel's vision blurred, and he faintly saw a dark shadow flashing past the entrance of the cave.

He paused for a moment and quickly ran to the entrance of the cave, but there was nothing near the cave, only the shadow of the dead tree, twisted and weird as if imprisoning a struggling soul.

"Is it an illusion?" Angel shook his head and walked around the area again. He still didn't see any living things, so he had to give up looking.

"Go and see on the other side of the mountain wall. What is Lucas' treasure and where is he hiding it?"

Angel flew up to the cliff. The other side turned out to be a cliff that looked like a thousand-foot peak, but there were many dead trees with strange shapes. When he walked down with a fluorite lamp, the shadows of the trees on both sides looked like terrifying monsters.

, observing him secretly.

Coupled with the dark and dead atmosphere around him, Angel had a creepy feeling.

He stayed close to the ground and flew across the cliff quickly. If there was no light and could only rely on fluorite lamps for illumination, he would even want to fly from the sky.

This flight lasted for dozens of miles. He didn't see any living things around him, and finally he and Toby stopped at the edge of a lake.

The reason why we stopped here was because the lake was extremely large, and Angel saw signs of human activity near the shore of the lake.

Not far in front of him, there was a simple outdoor stove on a piece of scorched earth, and a dusty iron pot was placed on the stone stove.

Judging from the thickness of the surrounding dust, this stove was left over from at least several decades ago.

These traces are enough to determine that this small island has been occupied by humans before. However, this island should be completely "dead" like the sea water a long time ago. The human traces on this island are not estimated to be indigenous, but are related to other people.

Same as those who enter this place by mistake.

Angel walked around the shore of the lake, wanting to see if there were any other human traces, and at the same time, he also wanted to clear his mind.

This island looks very deserted. From what we have seen so far, there is nothing of high value. The only thing that comes to mind is the illusory treasure recorded in Lucas's logbook.

Could this hidden treasure be what attracts Song of the Deep Sea and Summer Dew Ridge?

This requires Angel to find the treasure location recorded by Lucas and then confirm it.

However, Angel also knew very well that he did not have much time to hunt for the treasure. Since the two great true wizards, "Poseidon" and "Basket Witch", were on the move, it was probably only a matter of time before they found this place.

The pressing pressure extinguished Angel's excitement. Regardless of whether he found the so-called treasure or not, he had to leave here before the true wizard arrived.

"whisper"

Suddenly, Toby's call came from not far away, interrupting Angel's thoughts. He looked over and saw Toby also holding a fluorite lamp, flapping his wings in the middle of the lake.

Angel flew over and discovered the reason for Toby's call.

Right under his feet, in the center of the lake, there was a small wooden stick sticking straight out of the water. With the light of fluorite, you could even see that the wooden stick extended very long under the water.

Angel followed the stick and threw a fluorite into the lake.

The fluorite slowly sank to the bottom of the lake, illuminating a huge shadow under the water...
