Chapter 72 Victims(1/2)

The alarm clock rang on time, and he reached for the bedside table with one hand to turn off the piercing alarm sound.
The man put on his clothes and shoes in an orderly manner, walked out of the bedroom based on his memory, and then groped his way into the kitchen.
After hastily eating breakfast, he carefully walked into the kitchen, washed the dishes and chopsticks, then supported the wall and walked deftly to the door. He subconsciously turned his head and called out to the room.
"Panda!"
The air was silent and there was no response.
After about half a minute, the man turned around numbly, picked up the walking stick in the corner with one hand, and reached down with the other hand out of habit, but found nothing.
His arms stayed in mid-air for a while, and then the man seemed to finally realize something, silently opened the door and left.
His name is Xiao Yinzhi, and he is a blind man.
The roar of vehicles, the shouts of pedestrians, and the noise formed a large net that covered Xiao Yinzhi's eardrums.
Xiao Yinzhi was cautious. Even though he had walked this road many times, he still didn't feel safe enough.
"arrive."
The walking stick in his hand suddenly fell into the air. Xiao Yinzhi realized that he was in the right place. He first used the walking stick to explore, and then slowly put one foot forward and stepped on the first step.
"Need help?"
Suddenly, a soft female voice came to my ears. The owner of the voice seemed to be very young.
A smile appeared on Xiao Yinzhi's calm face, and he shook his head at the source of the sound, declining her kindness.
"No, thank you."
The girl could clearly see that there was a blind man in front of her and gave a kind reminder: "I think you want to go down the steps, but I want to tell you that the road ahead is not smooth. For you... I'm afraid
It’s not easy to walk.”
She hesitated for a moment, organizing her words for fear of saying something offensive.
"I can do it." Xiao Yinzhi said gently.
But the girl was very warm-hearted and insisted on helping Xiao Yinzhi down the steps, and then led him along an uneven path.
Ten minutes later, the girl and Xiao Yinzhi came to an intersection.
"Thank you." Xiao Yinzhi was silent for a moment and suddenly said with emotion, "Sure enough, if someone is carrying you, your feet will feel more secure when you land on the ground."
The girl just laughed and reminded him that the road ahead would be difficult and he must be careful. After chatting for a few more words, he left in a hurry.
She should be busy with her own things, but she is willing to spend time for a stranger. She is a rare good person.
When the footsteps in his ears disappeared, Xiao Yinzhi turned around, used his crutch to explore around him, and understood in his heart, he slowly moved forward and walked to a corner.
The girl didn't know that he had walked this road many times.
The path was remote and there were not many pedestrians coming and going, but Xiao Yinzhi could hear that those footsteps would pause slightly when passing near him, as if they were sizing up the blind man who was waiting quietly.
Some people also asked him if he needed help, but Xiao Yinzhi smiled and declined.
Xiao Yinzhi remained motionless and waited quietly for two hours.
The sun moved slowly, but he was like a sculpture, not knowing what he was waiting for.
There were footsteps not far away, accompanied by a man's voice. He seemed to be talking to someone on the phone, chatting happily, and occasionally laughing happily.
Xiao Yinzhi's dull eyes seemed to have become brighter. He looked in that direction and asked, "Is this Mr. Xu Jun?"
The footsteps and voices disappeared at the same time, and someone seemed to be standing not far in front of him, looking him up and down.
"It's me, is there something wrong?" Not long after, a man's voice sounded. His tone was doubtful, as if he was thinking about the identity of this blind man.
A smile appeared on Xiao Yinzhi's lips and he said, "I have always wanted to thank you."
As he spoke, he walked towards the source of the sound. But before he had taken two steps, an accident occurred. He stepped on something unknown, his sole slipped, and he instantly fell to the ground.
At the same time, a crisp landing sound sounded.
"Are you okay?" The man asked about Xiao Yinzhi's situation. Suddenly he took two steps back and said in panic, "Why do you have a knife on you?"
The sound just now was made by the fruit knife falling on the ground.
Xiao Yinzhi looked around and found nothing. He reluctantly got up and said a little embarrassedly: "Sorry, I just bought a fruit knife. Can you pick it up for me?"
The man obviously hesitated for a moment, but he still muttered and picked up the knife. He handed it to Xiao Yinzhi and complained: "Why do you, a blind man, carry a knife with you? It is dangerous to others and yourself..."
He stopped abruptly mid-sentence.
Xiao Yinzhi suddenly grabbed the knife and stabbed it suddenly.
"Pfft!"
Blood splashed out and fell on the man's body.
He looked dull and couldn't believe his eyes.
...self-harm?
This blind man is crazy. The knife he just stabbed was not for murder, but to stab himself!
But all this was not over. Xiao Yinzhi suddenly hugged the man tightly and screamed like crazy.
"It's a murder, please help!"
The man's expression changed drastically, and he hurriedly punched the lunatic a few times, trying to keep a distance from him.
Xiao Yinzhi's voice was very loud, and soon there were chaotic footsteps nearby. A group of people watched for a while, and then several people separated the two people and called the police at the same time.
The police arrived quickly, and the ambulance arrived at the same time. A policeman stepped out of the police car, his eyes fell on the man who was being controlled, and asked: "What's going on?"
"Officer, it's like this..."
"Kill, he wants to kill me!"
Before the man finished speaking, Xiao Yinzhi cried out, "He said I was blind and blocked his way! We just had a dispute, and he stabbed me with a knife!"
The man was furious. He didn't expect that not only would he meet a madman today, but he would also be slandered by this madman.
"Yes, that's the case!" One of the onlookers suddenly said, "I saw it!"
"Yes, officer, we heard someone calling for help. When we rushed over, we found two people fighting each other. The blind man was stabbed!"
"He even bullies vulnerable groups. This person is so bad..."
"He is the murderer!"
The masses were filled with indignation and expressed support for the "victim" Xiao Yinzhi.
Their momentum was too great, and the man looked pale and could not explain himself.
When the police saw Xiao Yinzhi being put into the ambulance and heard that he was okay, he couldn't help but breathed a sigh of relief. He turned to look at the confused man with a somewhat unkind tone.
"Please come with us."

The stabbing in Xiao Yinzhi's abdomen was not deep, and he was quickly taken care of by hospital staff. Considering his status as a blind person, nurses would be arranged to come over every short period of time to inquire.
"Sir, do you need help?"
"Thank you, no need." Xiao Yinzhi smiled gently.
After the nurse left, he sat on the hospital bed, as if he had forgotten the pain in his abdomen, his expression was calm, and his dull eyes were in the distance, not knowing what he was thinking.
Not long after, the police also arrived at the hospital. They first asked the doctor about the injury. After learning that the victim was fine, they felt relieved and began to ask Xiao Yinzhi some questions.
When questioned by the police, Xiao Yinzhi insisted that Xu Jun attacked him with a knife because the two had a quarrel.
Since there was no surveillance at the crime scene, it was not possible to directly understand the situation at the time. Although many people now claim to have witnessed the entire process of the man named Xu Jun attacking Xiao Yinzhi, the police did not draw conclusions easily.
.
Because Xu Jun's statement is completely different from what everyone said.
He said that it was Xiao Yinzhi who stabbed him and staged a painful plot, all to frame him.
"Do you have any grudge against the victim?"
"He is not the victim, I am! I don't know that madman, how can I have a grudge!"
Although Xu Jun's statement sounded ridiculous, the police decided to verify its authenticity, at least they still had to go through the necessary procedures.
To be continued...
