Chapter 1202: Reading the Will

Lawyer Qin once again gave a professional answer: "The "Succession Law" has relatively strict requirements on the formal requirements for a written will. It clearly stipulates that in a written will, the person writing the will will hand over the written will to other witnesses for verification, and submit it to other witnesses.

The testator shall read it out on the spot. After the testator confirms that it is correct, the scrivener, witnesses and testator must sign the will and indicate the year, month and day.

Therefore, a valid written will must meet the following requirements: 1. There must be more than two on-site witnesses.

2. One of the witnesses shall be the scrivener.

3. The will must be marked with the year, month and day.

4. Signatures of the scrivener, other witnesses and the testator.

The four above-mentioned requirements are indispensable, and a written will without these four requirements will be invalid."

After Lawyer Qin answered the question professionally, before Chu Shang asked Chu Tongguang, Chu Tongguang explained: "Not only was I present, but also the nurse responsible for taking care of my elder brother.

It was written by me and witnessed by the nurse. The will was also signed by me, the nurse and my eldest brother.

Lawyer Zhao, is such a written will invalid?"

Chu Tongguang immediately moved his lawyer out.

Lawyer Zhao hurriedly supported: "I have checked and found that Mr. Chu's written will fully complies with all the requirements stipulated by the law and is a will with legal significance."

"Then I would like to ask Lawyer Zhao, is Mr. Chu Tongguang one of the heirs in Mr. Chu Tonghe's will?"

Lawyer Qin asked.

"Yes."

Lawyer Zhao answered truthfully, and he could not answer otherwise.

Lawyer Qin laughed: "Mr. Chu Tongguang has a direct interest in the will. Mr. Chu Shang has doubts about its authenticity. This is legally feasible."

Bravo.

Cheng Xiran secretly gave a thumbs up to Lawyer Qin. If there were no lawyers present in such blind areas of knowledge, it would be difficult for them to attack Chu Tongguang and others.

"The situation was urgent at that time. Mr. Chu Tonghe only trusted Chu Tongguang. He wrote it on his behalf and had the nurse supervise and testify. This is enough to prove the authenticity of the will."

Lawyer Zhao said.

"Lawyer Zhao, we are colleagues. You should know that a will is valid only if it is recognized by the law. You and I are just lawyers. What we recognize as valid does not count."

Lawyer Qin said with a faint smile.

"What is valid or not? You clearly want to find trouble and don't want to recognize your father's will."

Hu Xiuru listened for a long time and finally understood that Chu Shang was not here to hear the will today, but to prevent the will from being announced.

Chu Shang's eyes fell on Hu Xiuru's face for the first time, and he heard him say calmly: "Are you deaf?

Didn’t you hear what Lawyer Qin just said?

A will is only valid if it is recognized by law, otherwise it is invalid and it has nothing to do with whether I acknowledge it or not."

Hu Xiuru was offended by his "Are you deaf?" and said bitterly: "Your father's will is true, Tongguang, don't talk nonsense to him, let the lawyer read the will."

Chu Tongguang also realized that today's Chu merchant was very difficult to deal with, and he did not want to continue to entangle with him. He immediately said to Lawyer Zhao: "Read the will."

Lawyer Zhao nodded, took out the document bag from his briefcase, and glanced at Merchant Chu, as if he was afraid that Merchant Chu would come to snatch it.

Chu Shang didn't mean that at all. Stealing the will was not part of Cheng Xiran's plan. Of course he wouldn't do that. He would just watch with cold eyes.

Lawyer Zhao took out the will and began to read it in public.

Chu Tonghe has a lot of inheritance. The big part is naturally the shares of his own company and the shares of other companies he invested in. The small part is some funds, securities and stocks, and the last part is some real estate, houses, cars, shops, etc.

The division of the will was also divided into three sections based on these three types of property. The first division was the real estate, cars, houses, shops, etc., which were all inherited by his wife Hu Xiuru.

Next are fund securities and stocks, which are jointly inherited by son Chu Hong and daughter Chu Jing in proportion.

Finally, there was the division of shares. There were more heirs to the shares. Hu Xiuru, Chu Hong, Chu Jing and his mother, as well as Chu Tongguang and Chu Tongxiang, a brother and sister, a total of five people equally divided all the shares in Chu Tonghe's name.

Chu Shang had nothing to do with the division of property in the entire will, and his name was not even mentioned, as if the Chu family did not have this son at all.

After hearing this, Chu Shang didn't get angry. He just asked extraordinarily calmly: "Why not me?"

“How much more property do you want?

When the company first went public, your father gave you 10% of the shares. Is that still too little for you?

Do you know how much a ten percent share is worth?

And about your scientific research funds, is your father not giving you enough?"

Hu Xiuru felt extremely distressed when she mentioned the shares and money that Chu Shang had taken away from the Chu family.

"When Chu Hong got married, didn't his father buy him a house or a car?

Didn't you give him a betrothal gift?

When Chu Jing got married, didn't her father buy her a house or a car, or give her a dowry?

The 10% share was given to me by my father out of guilt to my mother and grandfather, and that is what I deserve.

As a member of the Chu family, I also have the right to inherit, and I have objections to this will."

Chu Shang said calmly.

"If you have any objections, go to the court. Just go ahead and sue and see if the court will award you your inheritance. Why are you trying to mess with us here?"

Chu Jing was already in a bad mood, and she had had enough of enduring Chu Shang.

"You are right. If I have objections to the will, I should go to court."

Chu Shang nodded and then gave Xu Mingcheng a look.

Xu Mingcheng understood and took out his mobile phone to make a call: "Sorry, I kept you waiting for so long. You can come up now."

After hanging up the phone, everyone in the Chu family looked at Xu Mingcheng. Chu Hong asked nervously: "Who did you name?"

Xu Mingcheng smiled and said nothing.

The more mysterious he became, the more nervous everyone in the Chu family became, and they all looked in the direction of the door.

Cheng Xiran has been sitting silently behind Chu Shang observing the performance of the Chu family. As she concluded from the data analysis, Hu Xiuru, Chu Hong and Chu Jing's mother and son are all idiots and of no use.

Hu Xiuru's younger brother and sister-in-law are even more useless. They relied on Hu Xiuru to become prosperous.

The same is true for Chu Tongxiang and his wife. They only entered the company to take some idle positions because Chu Tonghe took care of them while he was still alive. In fact, they have no ability.

The most difficult person to deal with is Chu Tongguang. He is a poisonous snake. He hides behind Hu Xiuru, mother and son. If anything happens, he will let Hu Xiuru and the others rush forward, while he himself reaps the benefits.

However, in Cheng Xiran's eyes, Chu Tongguang is just a little more difficult to deal with than Hu Xiuru. Normally, Cheng Xiran would be too lazy to waste time squeezing such a character to death herself, so she was just sitting here wasting time because of this idiot Chu Shang.

Knock knock knock.

While I was waiting boredly, there was a sudden knock on the door of the conference room.

Everyone in the Chu family looked obviously a little more nervous.

"Come in."

Chu Shang answered the door.

The next second the door to the conference room was pushed open, and three men in uniform walked in.
