Chapter 36: The Beginning

"Ramus, you have made the greatest contribution during this period. This batch of goods is also your trophy, so it should be rewarded to you first."

Luce shook his head, stared at Ramsay, and praised sincerely.

When Ramsay heard this, he immediately replied with some fear: "For my father and the Bolton family, I will not work hard."

"Well, drink it!"

Luce nodded, raised his chin slightly towards the wine glass in Ramsay's hand, and signaled.

Ramsay looked moved, and put the wine glass in his hand to his mouth and took a long sip.

"Well, it is indeed a good wine. Father, I will buy you another glass."

After swallowing the wine, Ramsay closed his eyes slightly, made an afterthought expression, and opened his mouth to admire.

Then, he immediately took another wine glass and filled Luce with a glass of wine in the same wine barrel.

Keeping a close eye on Ramsay, and seeing that there was nothing unusual about him, Luce slowly took the wine glass from him.

With a smile on his face, Ramsay picked up the wine glass that he had not finished drinking just now and said to Luce: "For Bolton!"

"For Bolton!"

He also raised his glass to signal him, and Luce lowered his head and took a sip of the wine in the glass.

"Huh?"

After finishing the glass of wine, Luce suddenly let out a sigh, and then said to Ramsay,

“The wine from Qingting Island is indeed delicious!”

"It's their honor that you like it!"

"By the way, where are the four cavalrymen of Winterfell?

I want all the northern nobles to know that it was the lord they were loyal to who robbed them. Even if I am careless and suffer a loss this time, I will not make it easy for that wolf cub."

Luce, who was tasting the wine, suddenly remembered something and asked Ramsay.

Ramsay smiled and said nothing, turned around and whistled, a disarmed soldier entering the city nodded knowingly.

A few minutes later, Sam and the three wolf guards, who were bruised and swollen and tightly tied up, were led in front of Luce by the soldiers.

"Very good! Ramsay, I'll leave this matter to you. I hope I can hear the good news tomorrow."

Luce knew that his illegitimate son was very talented in torture, so he said directly,

"Also, except for you, all the returning cavalry should be imprisoned first and then released after their identities are verified. Do you have any objection?"

"Yes, father! I have no objection."

Ramsay nodded very obediently, looking like a well-behaved son.

Seeing Ramsay's performance, Luce nodded expressionlessly and walked to his room with his attendants.

Everything here has been arranged, and without his own orders, Ramsay can't let the city guards do things for him.

It took a while for the more than 400 people led by Ramsay to check and disarm them one by one and enter the Dreadfort.

Three transport carriages and nearly 400 war horses were placed in the stables on the right rear side of the gate.

Normally, this place can accommodate nearly a thousand war horses, but due to the heavy losses of the Bolton family's cavalry, the stables are now empty and are suitable for placement.

"Just put the carriage in the stable, you don't have to worry about it, I will arrange for someone to unload it tomorrow.

This is a flowing golden dragon. You acted rudely and spilled it on me. Even if I skin you, I can’t make up for it!"

Seeing the guards preparing to unload the wine barrels from the carriage, Ramsay frowned and stopped.

Hearing his voice, the guards stopped their movements angrily, not daring to provoke this cruel bastard.

"Give me the four of them to the interrogation room."

When Ramsay saw that the guards stopped unloading his wine, he pointed at the four Sams and gave instructions, then turned and left.

The guard officer frowned when he heard Ramsay's unceremonious tone, but he still selected four guards.

After whispering a few words to them, the guard officer asked them to escort the four Sams to the interrogation room.

Ramsay's 400 cavalrymen, except for the nearly 100 who have been following him, the other 300 were left by Luce at that time.

While they were being imprisoned, the guard officer took one of the cavalry out and let the waiting attendants take him away.

The attendant and the cavalryman walked in the winding and damp corridors of the Dreadfort. Neither of them spoke, only the sound of footsteps came out.

After wandering around for a while, the attendant took the cavalry to Luce's room.

"Lord Luce!"

After the cavalry closed the door, they immediately saluted.

"Well, what has Ramsay done during this time, and has there been any abnormal behavior?"

Luce, who was sitting in his seat and had been waiting for a long time, nodded and asked directly.

"Lord Ramsay, he robbed a caravan during this period and obtained that batch of wine. Maybe because the wine was valuable, he was in a good mood, so he let everyone in the caravan go."

The cavalryman heard the question, thought about it for a while, and then said,

"He usually doesn't show any abnormal behavior, but he often chats with the four cavalrymen in Winterfell, and they seem to be quite happy."

"Well, where did you plunder this caravan recently?"

Luce carefully tasted the cavalryman's words and didn't think there was anything wrong, so he continued to ask.

"Lord Luce, not just recently, he sent a raven from the Dreadfort to tell us before the Stark family declared war!"

"What? In other words, Ramsay brought this wine with him on his way back to support?"

"Yes! Lord Ramsay would rather walk slowly than give up this batch of expensive wine!"

"Idiot! Why didn't you tell me about such an abnormal thing earlier?"

Luce, who had always been calm, seemed to smell a conspiracy. He slapped the table and stood up and said loudly,

"There's something wrong with Ramsay, there's something wrong with those wines, let's go!"

In the Dreadfort interrogation room, the four Sams were tied to the 'X'-shaped skinning rack, and four guards stood beside Ramsay.

"Okay, now it's time for me to have fun, you guys go out!"

Ramsay's left hand turned over the various blood-stained torture instruments on the interrogation room table, and his right hand waved towards the guards.

"Lord Ramsay, Lord Roose asked us to report the situation to him at any time, so..."

When the four guards heard Ramsay's words, they looked at each other, and one of the guards said with some embarrassment.

"Okay, I'll leave you to report the situation, and everyone else will go out. When I'm having fun, I hate being stared at."

Ramsay raised his eyebrows and said impatiently.

"yes……"

The four guards looked at each other again. The guard who spoke just now seemed to be the leader. He nodded to the others, and the other three guards filed out.

"You know what? Weapons like this are the best for killing people."

Ramsay rummaged around on the table for a while and found a sharp iron drill that was as long as a dagger and as thick as a chopstick. He took it in his hand and played with it while saying to the guard next to him.

"I don't know... uh, uh!"

The guard was just about to answer.

Ramsay suddenly reached forward with his left hand, pinched his mouth into a figure-eight shape, and stabbed the guard's neck with the sharp iron drill in his right hand.

"Uh, uh!!!"

The guard subconsciously grabbed Ramsay's left hand with both hands, trying to break away and scream.

But as the sharp iron drill poked bloody holes in his neck, the pupils in his frightened eyes gradually expanded, his hands slowly dropped weakly, and the screams in his mouth became weaker and weaker.

"So, if I ask you to go out, just obey and go out!"

Clearly feeling the passing of the guard's life, Ramsay stabbed the sharp iron into his neck, which was like a honeycomb and full of horrific blood holes, for the last time, and stopped pulling it out.

He grabbed the guard's linen lining with both hands, wiped the blood on the back of his hands with his lining, and spoke words full of persuasion with a smile.

Although Sam and the others had their hands and feet tied up and their mouths were stuffed with cloth, it did not prevent them from watching Ramsay's murderous performance. At this moment, the four of them had a faint chill on their backs.

Bang!

After roughly wiping the blood off his hands, Ramsay let go of the guard's body and let it fall to the ground.

He opened his hands and faced the four Sams, grinning and saying: "Everyone, Lord Robb's fireworks plan has officially begun!"
