Chapter 76: Determined

"Robb, Sansa!"

Ed stood up when he heard the cells were opened. When he saw his children coming in, he shouted with joy on his face.

"Father!"

When Sansa saw her father, she ran forward with excitement on her face and threw herself into Eddard's arms.

Eddard carefully stroked Sansa's red hair with his shackled hands, fearing that the chains on the shackles would accidentally hit his daughter.

"Father, let's go quickly! Time is urgent. We can talk about old times when it's safe."

Come on, Sansa, please step aside, and I will unlock father's door."

Robb leaned the ice against the wall and took the key to unlock Eddard.

"No, Robb, I meant what I said to you before!

Go find Arya and take your sisters back to the North!"

When Ed heard this, he shook his head at Robb with a serious face and said.

"Father! Stop talking about nonsense honor! That thing is not even worth a copper plate!

Did you know? In order to come to save you, a dozen brothers died in King's Landing, and even their corpses could not be brought back to the north.

If you don't leave, their sacrifice will become meaningless!

I know that you must be thinking about the honor of your life and the honor of the Stark family!

But have you ever thought about your mother or us?

Father! I promise you, if you don’t leave today, you will definitely die in King’s Landing!”

Robb had no time to continue communicating with Eddard because of the change of jailer. Now seeing that he still insisted on not leaving, Robb suddenly shouted at Eddard angrily.

"Brother, father..."

After leaving Eddard's arms, Sansa stood between the two of them, looking at the angry Robb and feeling a little at a loss.

"You must take good care of the families of those soldiers who sacrificed their lives to rescue me.

As for death! Robb, I grew up with warriors and have long since learned to face death.

Go! Go find Arya and take your sisters back to the North!"

Looking at Robb with an angry face, Ed sat back in the corner of the cell very calmly and said calmly.

Looking at the unusually calm Eddard, Robb bit his gums hard, veins burst out on his forehead, and he clenched his fists to suppress his anger.

Various thoughts flashed through his mind. Continue to persuade? Knock him out and take him away by force? Or simply tell him that Joffrey will behead him?

Finally, Robb took a deep breath, unclenched his clenched fists, and said to Ed: "Huh...Father, I respect your choice. Is there anything you want to say to mother?"

"Tell Kate I'm sorry!"

Looking at Eddard with a sad face, tears overflowed from Sansa's eyes. She cried and said: "Father, please come back to Winterfell with us! Please, please!"

"Sansa, let's go! Once my father has made up his mind, no one can persuade him!"

Robb looked at Eddard, who had his eyes closed and was speechless. He pulled Sansa and walked out of the cell.

Eddard heard the footsteps of Robb and the two leaving. He opened his eyes and looked at their backs. His mouth opened slightly, but in the end he still didn't make a sound.

Since three months ago, he had tried his best to plan a rescue, ruined the lives of more than a dozen brothers, and came to the dark prison.

But Eddard would rather wait for death in King's Landing than return to the North with him.

Robb, filled with anger, led Sansa to the dark cell door and kicked it open.

Outside the dungeon door is a damp and dark bluestone staircase, with lighting torches at every distance. Go up the stairs and reach the second floor of the dungeon.

The second floor is a common fence-style prison. In the middle of the hall, six jailers are sitting around a long table, preparing to enjoy lunch.

Seeing Robb coming up from the dark cell holding a sword, a jailer immediately drew out his sword from his waist and ran straight towards Robb.

Came just in time!

Robb, who was looking for a place to vent his anger, rushed forward with ice in hand.

The huge strength of both arms and the heavy sword 'Ice' in both hands, the terror of this combination was something that the jailer deeply experienced in his last moments.

Seeing the jailer who bravely rushed forward, Robb was filled with anger. He held his sword in both hands and struck with all his strength from top to bottom.

clang!

The jailer raised his sword with both hands and collided with Robb's ice.

The ice did not break this refined long sword from King's Landing. Compared with other steels, Valyrian steel is lighter in weight, harder in texture, and sharper at the same time.

But what's more important is that the magic spells cast with special techniques during the creation process give it extraordinary qualities.

But in an era when magic is declining, Valyrian steel weapons cannot cut iron like clay, and are only slightly better than refined weapons.

Back to business,

The jailer did block Robb's ice, but only for a brief moment. The strength of Robb's body attached to the ice caused the sword in the jailer's hand to fly straight from his head to the ground.

The sharp tip of the ice sword slashed straight from the jailer's forehead to his crotch.

The jailer stood there with an expressionless expression. After a few seconds, a trace of blood appeared from his forehead and went straight to his crotch.

The whole body of the jailer was like a mango that had been cut in half, with all the bits and pieces inside falling to the ground.

Although there was a long sword in the way and the jailer was not cut in half, the horrific scene of half-cutting him open was even more bloody and terrifying.

The second jailer who rushed forward saw that his companion was killed with one blow, and he immediately regretted that he had rushed so fast.

But he had already rushed in front of Robb and had no choice but to thrust his sword at Robb with all his strength.

Robb held the sword in both hands and blocked it from bottom to top. After swinging away the opponent's long sword, the ice in his hands circled around his head with the force of the collision, and he slashed diagonally from top to bottom again.

The jailer's right hand was so shaken that it was numb and weak. He had no time to raise his sword to resist, and was cut into two pieces by the ice.

puff!

The remaining lower body of the jailer who was chopped into two parts spurted out a large amount of blood.

Not only did Robb get dyed red, but Sansa behind him, who was covering her mouth tightly, was also dyed red.

When the other three jailors saw Robb, an evil god whose murderous brutality was no worse than that of the Mountain, they were immediately frightened and turned around and ran to the first floor of the dungeon.

Robb, who had vented his anger by beheading two people, saw the jailer in front of him who was cut in two and had the key to the prison, so he stopped pursuing him.

"Lord Robb, you're okay, that's great!"

When he bent down to pick up the cell key, in a prison far away from him, Eddard Karstark was waving to him and shouting.

Robb walked quickly to the prison door and saw Eddard standing in the prison, unscathed as Varys said.

On his blood-stained face, he smiled broadly at Ed, who was suspected of being a spy, and said, "Ed, that's great, you're fine too. I'll let you out right now!"

After saying that, he opened the prison and released Ed.

"Robb? Are you Lord Eddard Stark's eldest son?"

As soon as Ed walked out of the cell, in the room next to him, a tough-looking man with golden-red hair stood up and asked Robb.

Robb turned his head and observed. This man in noble casual clothes had the family emblem of 'forked lightning and four-pointed star' on his body.

Robb, who was already familiar with the famous families in the Seven Kingdoms, instantly knew the identity of this man. He nodded and said, "I am Robb Stark, and you should be Lord Beric Dondarrion, Lord Blackport."

Bar?

How did you end up in prison?"

"Yes! I'm Berry.

Lord Ed came to me two days ago with His Majesty's will and wanted me to assist. I trusted Lord Ed's honor, so I followed him to read out His Majesty's will.

Then……"

After Beric nodded and acknowledged his identity, he explained to Robb the reason why he was imprisoned.

"Thank you for your trust in my father! Ed, release Lord Berry, and then release all the prisoners here. Let's break out of the Red Keep together."

After hearing this, Robb nodded and thanked Berry, then turned to hand Ed the cell key and gave instructions.

Ed nodded, immediately took the key and opened the cell door.
