Chapter 203 The dust has settled

 The next morning.

The restaurant on the 25th floor.

When Morimi was about to finish breakfast, Naruse came up with Naoko.

But he kept yawning, his eyes were dull, and he didn't know what he was looking at. It was Shanzi who noticed her first.

She pulled him over and said, "Good morning, Yiye."

"Good morning."

Naoko looked at her dinner plate and said, "Ichiyo came really early."

"It's okay, there were already quite a few people when I came here."

"Isn't the starfish awake?"

"She's still asleep."

Morimi said, looking at Naruse who yawned again, "You didn't sleep last night, okay?"

"Yeah."

"No wonder you look like you haven't woken up." She looked at him and said, with a pair of dark circles on her face.

The message she sent him has not been read yet. She got up early and waited for a while, so she could only come up to have breakfast by herself.

It seems now that he probably fell asleep after reading the news.

I just don’t know how Shangzi woke him up...

"What does Harumi want to eat?"

Naoko also looked at Naruse, "Sit down first and I'll get it for you."

"No need."

He shook his head, took another deep breath, and became more conscious, "Let's line up together, I want to get more."

"Hmm."

The two of them went over and lined up.

After staring at them for a while, Mori ate the last piece of bacon and yawned uncontrollably.

"...so sleepy."

After sending Takigawa Yue to the examination room and returning to the hotel, Naruse and Morimi went straight back to their rooms to catch up on their sleep - they were about to check out at ten o'clock. Before going upstairs, he went to the front desk to extend their stay in each other's rooms for four hours.
With no one to disturb him, Naruse slept until about ten o'clock in the morning.

When he woke up, Shangzi was lying on the other half of the bed, not far or close to him, and seemed to be asleep too.

"..."

Did she stay here after he fell asleep?

Also...she and Takigawa sisters' room has already been vacated.

After looking at the curtains that were mostly closed, Naruse turned his head and stared at Naoko's side face for a while.

Stretching out his hand, he touched her cheek.

Delicate, soft, full and plump.

After stroking it gently for a while, he found it difficult to concentrate. He looked at the ceiling above his head and slowly retracted his hand.

"..."

The hand was held again.

He turned his head, and Shangzi had already turned sideways, looking at him, and smiled when he looked at him.

"I accidentally fell asleep..."

"Yeah."

She held his hand and pulled him closer.

Naruse looked for it but didn't see the phone, "What time is it now?"

"About ten o'clock."

"Well... where are they?"

"Ichiyo is sleeping, and Starfish probably hasn't woken up yet. Hikaru said he wanted to hang out outside, and he went out before."

"Really?"

Naruse looked at the ceiling again, raised his other hand, and wiped it on his face.

Shangzi moved his body and got closer, "Didn't you sleep enough?"

"No..."

He shook his head, "I just feel like I'm getting sleepier and sleepier... just like oversleeping at noon."

Shangzi smiled.

"Then do you want to get up?"

"Well..."

Naruse looked at the ceiling, "Let me think for a while."

"Yeah."

She curled up her body, lowered her head, pressed against his hand, and rubbed it gently.

After turning to look at her for a while, he also stood up and faced her side.

"..."

When Shangzi opened his eyes again, he was already asleep again.

"Good night."

Kissing the back of his hand, she closed her eyes again and held his hand tightly.

At around four o'clock in the afternoon, the last section of Takigawa Yue's entrance exam ended.

The moment she walked out of the examination room, her heart felt calmer than ever before.

Her eyes slowly moved down from the blue sky, and when she saw the people waiting outside, she smiled.

"The exam is over."

Hikari Takigawa strode over and gave her a long and silent hug.

"Light..."

"Congratulations, Sister Yue."

Being hugged by her sister, Takigawa Yue looked at the four of them and suddenly frowned.

"That's too much. Where have you been? Only Guang came to eat with me at noon."

"..."

Naruse glanced at Naoko, then at Morimi and Haixing, and could only speak to himself:

"Sister Yue..."

She laughed again, "You're kidding, have you rested enough now?"

"That's enough." Naruse said, Morimi and Haixing also nodded.

"That's good."

Takigawa Yue patted her sister on the back again, "Let's go eat something first, I'm a little hungry. Then, after eating, I'll go shopping - I've been enduring this for two days!"

"Okay."

Letting go of his sister, Hikaru Takigawa looked at her again, then turned his head, a smile already appearing on his face.

"Let's go."

She led the way in a clear direction. It was obvious that she had gained something during the day and was not just wandering aimlessly.

When they arrived near the station, they walked past the [楽食] store where they had just eaten last night. Naruse, Morimi and Haixing looked at each other.

"This store seems to be good," Hikaru Takigawa said, "but the store I'm interested in has better reviews. I'll come here again next time I have a chance."

"Really..."

The shop she was interested in was right in front. It was a famous local beef tongue shop in Sendai. It was not even five o'clock when a few people came here, and they already had to queue up.

"You don't have an appointment?"

"You can't make reservations in this store, you can only queue up."

Fortunately, they didn't arrive too late. After waiting for almost fifteen minutes, a seat became available and they went in together.

The specialty of this restaurant is the charcoal-grilled beef tongue grilled by the chef himself. One day is enough to eliminate the tired taste of beef tongue for the three people who "sneak-ate" last night. Their seats can just see the live cooking in the bar.

, as soon as he smelled the aroma of grilled beef tongue, Haixing's eyes straightened.

The beef tongue grilled by professional chefs was even more tender and delicious, and several people almost swallowed their own tongues.

The oxtail soup was also very delicious. The pieces of oxtail meat were cooked softly, delicious and easy to swallow. Everyone was very satisfied with the meal.

After dinner, Takigawa Yue's classmates who went to take exams at other universities also returned to Sendai Station.

Two of the boys couldn't wait to go back, while the remaining girls chose to go shopping with Yue Takigawa.

After shopping until around eight o'clock in the evening, the group still had something to say, so they got on the Shinkansen back to Aomori.

"It's time to go home."

After getting in the car, several first-year students sat together.

The train was speeding on the railway track, leaving the bustling city and plunging into the dark mountains.

Naruse looked back and saw that the third-year seniors who were very excited just now were sitting quietly, showing a bit of fatigue more or less.

Other than that, basically everyone has a bit of confusion on their face.

Even Takigawa Yue, who was full of confidence after taking the exam, was staring out the window in a daze, not knowing what he was thinking.

"It's over." Morimi said softly.

Naruse turned around and said, "Yeah."

More than an hour later, the train arrived at Shin-Aomori Station.

"I'm going back first."

"Yeah, our tram is coming soon. See you at school in a few days!"

"See you at school."

Takigawa Yohei, who was already waiting here, took back the children he brought the day before yesterday.

"Thank you for your hard work." He said to his eldest daughter next to him.

Takigawa Yue nodded slowly, tears flowing down silently.

"Take a good rest in the next period of time."

"Okay..."

In the back seat, Haixing looked in front of him and asked Morimi next to him in a low voice.

"When will the results of the exam be available?"

"It won't be long." Morimi said, looking out the car window again.

It’s another rare clear night.

The moonlight reflects the snow, creating a vast expanse of white.

"Probably... it will be before the graduation ceremony."

Last month’s monthly ticket target will be updated
