Chapter 29 Mind Reading

Naruse stayed at Chaoyue Zhongguo shop until about four o'clock in the afternoon before he was ready to go home.

While waiting at the bus stop, he saw Hikari Takigawa passing by on a motorcycle.

She also noticed him.

They looked at each other, and before Naruse could say hello, she had already turned around and came back.

"Yo."

She pushed up her mask, put one foot on the ground, hooked her hands gracefully, and said, "Get in the car."

Naruse looked at the back seat of the motorcycle and didn't refuse.

"Hang things in front."

"Give."

Takigawa Hikaru took the bag and glanced at it casually, "Clothes?"

"Uniform." Naruse sat astride her behind her, "Tsugao's."

"Ah, it's pretty fast."

Hikaru Takigawa handed him the helmet and waited until he put it on before turning the throttle and said, "Sit tight."

"Yeah."

The motorcycle roared loudly, and Naruse grabbed the armrest and looked ahead into the wind.

Naoko said that she was often taken care of by Takigawa Hikaru, but this was the first time for him to ride in her car.

"Are you nervous?"

Naruse smiled and said, "No problem."

"Haha, don't worry."

Hikaru Takigawa let out a confident laugh, turned the accelerator, "Do you want to go faster?"

"No, that's it."

"When did Chunhai come here?" She tilted her head, still looking at the road ahead, "When I went out, I didn't see anyone at the bus stop."

"I went out in the morning."

"It's so early," Hikaru Takigawa said, "A few girls asked me to go to karaoke, and then I went to drink a cup of coffee and taste a few desserts, and I just came back from the show."

"I'm so busy." Naruse is in the same class as her and sits close to her, so he already has a more intuitive understanding of her popularity.

Takigawa Hikaru smiled, "Don't people come every day and ask Harumi to play together?"

"I don't like going out very much."

"Huh?" She turned around.

Naruse immediately became nervous, "Look ahead."

Takigawa Hikari looked forward again.

"Yes, I almost forgot that Chunhai is different from before."

"It's better to say that I found other ways of entertainment."

"Reading a book?"

"Yeah."

Hikari Takigawa pondered for a while without meaning.

"What about today? Chunhai came here in the morning, not just to get the uniform."

Naruse looked at her helmet and told her that he spent most of the day in the antique store.

"...I had a good chat with the owner of that store. When I have time, I will go to the store to help."

"Working?" Hikari Takigawa asked.

"Not really." Naruse shook his head, "It's just a place to go after school."

"Really? Then I'll go take a look too." Hikari Takigawa said with a smile.

"Looking forward to your patronage."

"Haha."

Although they chatted while riding, the speed of the motorcycle was not very fast, but it was still not comparable to that of the bus. It didn’t take long for the two of them to return to Qingliu.

"It's so fast."

"After Yue graduates, I can take Chunhai to school every day."

Naruse just smiled and did not comment.

After sending him home and looking at the closed door, Takigawa Hikaru pulled down the transparent mask and turned the accelerator.

"I'm back. Say hello to Shangzi for me."

"Yeah."

......

The next day, Monday morning, Naruse was waiting for the bus at the bus stop wearing Tsuga's uniform. Morimi Kazuha came over to say hello.

"It's not bad. Although in terms of temperament, he still looks a bit like a down-and-out young man who has been reduced to a rural county."

"Thank you." Naruse smiled, taking it as a compliment.

Morimi frowned, but said nothing and turned back to where he was.

"Ichiyo seems to have something else to say," said Shangzi who was watching.

Naruse also felt the same way. After thinking about it, he shook his head and said, "It's probably not a nice thing to say."

The bus stop was only such a big place, so she walked to the other side, obviously not wanting to continue chatting with him.

Shangzi smiled and said: "Ichiyo often says something that hits the nail on the head."

Naruse looked at the literary girl who was facing her sideways, "That means she saw something in me that made her dissatisfied, but she felt that our relationship wasn't good enough to point it out casually."

His statement made Shangzi silent for a while, and then said: "Shall I ask?"

Just when Naruse wanted to say it didn't matter, he caught a glimpse of the bus approaching from the corner of his eye and grabbed her.

"Let's talk about it after we get in the car."

The bus stopped and students waiting at the platform got on the bus one after another.

Naruse took one last look before getting in the car, but still didn't see the starfish.

Did you oversleep?

Or did she already take the earlier bus to school?

"Starfish is on duty today."

He turned his head and glanced, but Morimi behind him just waved his hand, urging him to get in the car quickly.

Naoko had already sat down, and Naruse sat next to her and looked at Morimi who was walking behind:

"Mind reading?"

She seemed to smile, pushed up her glasses again, and looked deeply.

"That's right. You have to be careful."

Naruse wouldn’t take it seriously.

He just turned around and saw that she had walked all the way to the back row and sat down, far away from her, so he didn't say anything else to her.

Silence all the way.

Arrive at Tsumae High School Station and the bus stops.

Naruse and Shoko got out of the car and walked in front. Morimi followed behind and had no intention of following.

When they arrived at the school, the two went up the stairs in the middle. Around the corner was the classroom of Class E. Naruse glanced in and saw that the starfish had indeed arrived.

She was standing on a chair and writing something on the blackboard.

Out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of someone watching outside. She glanced at it, then quickly turned her head away, her blond ponytail swaying.

"..."

Naoko smiled at Naruse and confirmed that the two of them had not communicated at all since the day the typhoon passed through.

Arriving at the Class C classroom, Hikaru Takigawa's seat was empty, and he didn't know whether he was having morning training in the gym or because he didn't come to school.

The girls greeted Naoko, their eyes occasionally drifted to Naruse, and they whispered something to her. Naoko always smiled in response.

Naruse put down his schoolbag, took out the completed career path hope questionnaire, and went to the staff room alone.

"Jinda..."

Zhongyuan Xue had obviously just arrived at school. Her desk was messy and she looked like she was in a hurry, but she couldn't care about anything else at this time.

"Naruse-san, are you sure you want to make Tianjin University your first goal for further study? Isn't it too safe?"

His reaction to becoming a teacher was not surprising, “It’s a national university after all.”

"No, what I mean is that with Naruse's grades in Tokyo, he can definitely compete for some prestigious schools with higher rankings." Nakahara Yuki looked at him and said.

Naruse shook his head, "I think Jinda is also good."

"Is there any special reason?" Zhongyuan Xue asked again.

“All my friends chose Tianjin University.”

"That's it?"

Naruse nodded, "My pursuit is limited to this."

"..."

Zhongyuan Xue was silent for a while, her eyes full of regret.

She did not give up, "After the evening class meeting, do you have time, Naruse-san? Come over and talk to the teacher again."

Naruse was a little helpless, but she also understood that she would not give up on being a teacher easily. No matter how much she said at this time, she would not change her plan and could only accept it.

"Okay."

"Great. Then Naruse-san goes back to the classroom first..."

"——Teacher Zhongyuan."

Dean Kobayakawa suddenly strode into the staff room, nodded to Naruse, who was still somewhat impressed, and then looked at Nakahara Yuki with a serious face.

"Take a moment, Mr. Nakahara: Hikaru Takigawa, your first-year Class C, was caught by me riding a motorcycle into school again today."

Naruse looked at Hikari Takigawa who followed him in. She quickly noticed him, her eyes lit up, and she seemed a little surprised.

"Chunhai was also arrested?"

Naruse shook his head.

"It is already specially allowed to ride a motorcycle to school. It is only required to come down when entering and exiting the school gate..." Kobayakawa was saying, turning his head and giving her a sideways look.

"Sooner or later you will bump into other students!"

"I understand...Well, Naruse-san, please go back first." Nakahara Snow had a headache on his face and could no longer care about him.

Naruse nodded, looked at the three of them, then turned and left the staff room.

The sounds inside are still catching up.

"Takigawa-san, didn't you make a promise to the teacher before?"

"Well, I promise I won't hit anyone else."

"No, I'm not talking about..."

"It's too late if you hit me! Although the school atmosphere of Jin High School is free..."

Is the school spirit free?

Outside the staff room, Naruse touched his earrings and walked to the classroom.
