Chapter 69 Sickness and Visiting the Doctor

This was the first time Naruse came to the second floor of Morimi's house, and he found her room only with her feeble guidance.

After sending her to lie down on the bed, Naruse touched her forehead with the back of his hand.

"It seems to be hotter. It's probably because I didn't wear any clothes before..."

The fist stretched out from under the quilt and hit his knee, but it was powerless.

"Kill you..."

Morijian gritted his teeth and looked at him, his cheeks red and hot.

"Sorry." Naruse tucked her arm back, "It seems you are still somewhat conscious. Do you remember if there are antipyretics at home and where they are?"

"Fever-reducing medicine..."

She closed her eyes and thought for a while, "I don't remember."

What she saw as "a moment" was actually two or three minutes.

"I thought you were asleep."

"Huh?"

"It's okay...unlock it."

When she opened her eyes again, Naruse was holding her mobile phone, facing her face, trying to unlock it.

"I'll contact Mr. Morimi."

Morimi didn't say anything, and I don't know if he heard what he said.

The call was quickly answered, and when he heard a man's voice coming from his daughter's cell phone, Morimiki immediately alerted and anxiously asked a few questions: "Who are you?", "Why do you have Kazuyo's cell phone in your hand?"

Where is Ye Ren?"

Until Naruse revealed his identity.

"Ah, it's Chunhai..."

After learning that his daughter had a fever and collapsed at home, Morimiki said he would come over immediately.

It took some time to get here from Morimi Furu Honten. After hanging up the phone, Naruse looked at Morimi's condition again, without disturbing her, and slowed down and walked to the window.

In front of the window is her desk, with a pile of tutorial books for various subjects on it, and a few test papers in the middle.

Naruse initially just glanced at it casually, but quickly returned his gaze, picked up the test paper, and frowned as he stared at one of the questions.

After a while, he relaxed his brows.

"Sasaki..."

Looking at the title at the top again, this is the paper that Morimi took the exam at Sasaki Study School yesterday.

Three exams, three test papers, with a perfect score of 100, the top math score was 81, followed by English and geography, which were 79 and 77 respectively.

Does this count as a failure in the exam? Naruse muttered in his mind.

"...Do you find it difficult?" Morijian's weak voice came from the bed.

He put down the test paper and looked back at her, "It's quite difficult. I didn't even get the first question for a long time."

She smiled.

After a while, Naruse was looking at the questions on the geography test paper when her voice suddenly came from behind.

"Who are you kidding?"

"What?"

"The first question is not that difficult..."

"...You should go to sleep and leave me alone."

Naruse sat down at the desk and waited for the arrival of Morimi and his wife.

The night was quiet, and after another five or six minutes, footsteps came from downstairs.

As soon as Naruse was halfway down the stairs, a call came from the bottom.

"Spring Sea——"

"..."

Naruse paused, then sped up, "Naoko?"

"Spring sea." Shangzi followed the sound and found this place and stepped onto the stairs.

"Why are Shangzi here?"

"Because Harumi hasn't come back, I wanted to come find you. When Harumi called Mr. Morimi, I had just arrived there. He drove to buy medicine, and Aunt Chie will come over to take care of Kazuyo."

Naruse was slightly relieved when he heard that Mrs. Morimi would come.

"How is Kazuyo?" Shangzi stopped in front of him and looked into his eyes.

"Already lying down."

"Have you changed your clothes?"

"Do you want me to change it for her?"

Shangzi smiled and said, "I'll go take a look at Yiye."

Taking her to Morimi's room upstairs, Naruse didn't go in and pulled the door shut with his backhand.

"Wearing so many clothes is too uncomfortable..."

Naoko lifted the quilt slightly, took a look, and was about to put Morimi into pajamas. But she had her eyes closed and didn't respond, and seemed to be fast asleep.

When you take off your clothes halfway, it becomes difficult to continue.

"One leaf..."

After Shangzi called several times, Morimi opened his eyes and looked at her blankly for a while.

"Shangzi?"

"It's me. Kazuye changed his clothes."

"Well..."

Morimi sat up with difficulty and took off his clothes with Naoko's help.

Seeing her squinting at the room, as if she was looking for something, Shangzi said: "Chunhai is outside."

She lowered her eyes without any expression, as if she hadn't heard anything, and her face was only sluggish.

Shangzi didn't ask in detail.

After stripping down to her underwear, Shangzi helped her put on pajamas and helped her lie down again.

"Thank you, Shangzi..."

"Have a good rest, Aunt Qianzhi will be here soon."

Mori opened his mouth when he heard the words, and then showed a relaxed expression, "I understand."

"Is there anything else I need?"

She shook her head.

After that, Naoko sat beside her bed. Even though she had changed her clothes, she had no intention of calling Naruse outside.

Not long after, Morijian and his wife hurried over in a car.

Morimi Chie stayed to take care of her daughter, while Morimi Shu drove back to the bookstore and took back the two children who were left at home.

"Fortunately, Chunhai is here, otherwise the child might have gotten through it silently."

"It's just a coincidence." Naruse didn't say much.

Shangzi looked at him from the back seat.

"Thank you for your hard work, Shangzi."

"Where..."

After sending the two of them to the intersection going home, Mori saw the tree and stopped the car.

Watching him turn around and go back, Monk Naruse also turned around and went home.

"What did Harumi eat at Kazuyo's place at night?"

"...Udon."

Gu——

His stomach made an untimely sound to reveal his lie.

"..."

Naruse touched his belly and said, "The taste is not good, I only ate a little."

I can't see Shangzi's expression clearly in the dark.

"I left food."

"That would be great."

She seemed to smile.

"Has the book by Mitsuki-san been repaired?"

"I used glue, so I can't move it around for the time being. I'll leave it at Morimi's house."

"I'll go check on Yiye tomorrow and pick it up by the way."

"Yeah."

......

I had a fever for most of the night, and when Morimi woke up the next day, his body temperature had dropped to normal levels.

Lying on the bed, staring at the blurry window for a while, she closed her eyes again.

When the fever was coming, she had many dreams, some of which were so real that she was still a little melancholy after waking up.

As for what really happened yesterday, she could not help but start to have doubts. Reading 溂

"Did Shangzi come last night?...or was it a dream?"

Morimi looked down at the pajamas she was wearing, and it seemed that Naoko had put them on for her.

However, it could also be my mother...

"One leaf."

Just as she was thinking about it, the door opened and her mother walked in. She reached out and touched her forehead, "It seems that the fever has gone away."

"The fever is gone."

"Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere else?"

She shook her head.

"Would you like something to eat?"

"No appetite..."

"If you are hungry, tell mom." Mori saw Chie standing up, "Kazuha's friends are here, do you want them to come up?"

"Who?" Yiye was stunned, "Shangzi."

"Shangzi, there is light and starfish. The moon is also here."

"Well...let them come up."

She sat up, put on her glasses, and put on a coat.

Soon, several people came upstairs to her room.

"Are you okay?" Hikari Takigawa sat directly by the window and touched her forehead.

"The fever has gone down." Kazuye smiled.

"I've said before that Kazuyo is under too much pressure. It's better to take a good rest these days." Takigawa Yue said.

"Okay, Sister Yue."

Haixing and Shangzi also came over to say hello. According to the latter, they met on the road, so they came together.

Kazuha responded to their greetings with a smile, and glanced at the seat in front of the desk where Naruse sat yesterday.

In addition to him, several friends who live nearby came over.

After a while, Chie Morimi brought a few drinks and some snacks. Hikari Takigawa set up a low table, and the others sat down on the carpet beside the bed, chatting with Kazuha.

"Can Kazuye still go to school tomorrow?"

"No problem."

"Don't force it." The Takigawa sisters all said.

She shook her head, "It's okay, the fever has gone down."

Takigawa Hikaru didn't say much, and instead looked at her room.

"I haven't been here for a long time. Yiye's room has been moved upstairs."

She stood up and went to the window and looked outside, "The view is also very good. You can see Nanmuchuan."

"You can really see the river." Haixing also approached, "You can go down there. We used to pile a stone there..."

She suddenly stopped mid-sentence.

Takigawa Hikaru smiled and continued her words: "Yes, Harumi said that he wanted to build a dam to see if he could stop the small fish."

Shangzi also got up and went to the window to look for a while, "It's over there."

"Do you still remember Kazuyo?" Hikaru Takigawa turned around and asked.

"Of course I remember."

Morimi sat on the bed and looked at them, "I also remember that time when we walked a long way along the river, the adults were looking for us like crazy."

Takigawa Hikaru smiled, "We were all locked up at home the next day."

"No, Hikari was missing for a day." Yue Takigawa corrected her sister.

"Huh?"

"You ran out secretly and hid in the upstairs of Chunhai's house for a whole day. Chunhai, Naozi and Chunhai's mother didn't know about it. You were only discovered when you were hungry and went down to look for something to eat."

"Ah, I remembered... time flies so fast."

Sitting on the bed, Morimi looked at the people by the window and felt the same emotion in his heart.

Time flies so fast.

With such growth, she is no longer as inconspicuous as she was before, but the eyes of her companions no longer just stay on each other.

This made her a little lonely.
