Chapter 73 Itinerary

After returning home, Naruse went straight back to the room upstairs to pack his luggage for tomorrow's trip.

In fact, there is nothing to pack, just two sets of clothes and a mobile phone charger, that’s all.

As long as you bring enough money, most of your additional needs can be taken care of.

After putting everything into his bag, Naruse leaned on the chair and looked up at the ceiling, suddenly feeling uneasy.

Although he was busy and enthusiastic after agreeing, this was the first time he skipped school in such a planned way.

"Even if the school finds out, it won't be a big problem...at most it will just be a scolding."

After being dazed for a while, Naruse went downstairs. Naoko, who had also gone home to pack her luggage, had also come over and was sitting on the sofa.

"Have you packed it up, Shangzi?" he asked casually. Girls always have more things.

Shangzi pursed his lower lip and said nothing.

Naruse was about to go to the kitchen to take a drink of water, but he turned around and walked around in front of her, and immediately frowned.

She had no expression, but the loss in her heart could no longer be concealed.

"What's wrong?"

"Chunhai..."

Shangzi took a deep breath and put a smile on his face, "I can't go to Kyoto with you."

Naruse looked at her, "Why?"

"Mom just called and said that she and dad had a day off the day after tomorrow and wanted to go home for the day."

"..."

Naruse opened his mouth and sat down next to her.

It is a rare occasion for the couple to come back, and Shangzi will not leave them alone and travel far away alone.

After a while, he said: "Then I won't go either."

Naoko laughed, "But Harumi really wants to go."

She leaned to the side and leaned on his shoulder.

"I know, if Chunhai wants to do something that he didn't originally intend to do, he will actively look for various reasons to mobilize his enthusiasm..."

"——The main reason is that Shangzi wants to go."

"Thank you." After getting over the initial depression, Naoko's mood recovered quickly, "But now Harumi also wants to go to Kyoto, right?"

Naruse took a long breath and leaned back on the sofa, "I didn't think so either."

"Really?"

"Really."

"Really?"

"..."

He turned his head, and Shangzi looked at him and smiled again.

"Harumi and Hikaru, go together. Just remember to bring me some souvenirs from Kyoto."

"Shangzi..."

Shangzi finally decided to stay.

In the evening, Hikaru Takigawa came to discuss the itinerary with the two of them. After hearing that Naoko was not going to Kyoto, he had the same reaction.

"Shangzi must stay at home?"

"Because it's been a long time since my parents came back. I don't want there to be no one at home when they come back."

"Even so..."

"And I also want to see them."

Takigawa Hikaru was silent for a long time, and finally he could only accept this fact.

"What a pity..."

"Next time." Shangzi smiled.

"Hey."

"Stop sighing, didn't you come here to discuss the itinerary?" After Naoko made the decision, Naruse's attitude was much more decisive, as if he was not prepared to take Naoko with him from the beginning.

Only then did Takigawa Hikaru remember the purpose of coming here at night, "Are we just going to discuss it here?"

"Yeah."

Although he didn't go, Shangzi didn't avoid it and listened to the two people's plans.

"My plan is to follow the school trip team all the time, and I will go wherever the month goes."

"Sure enough."

Naruse knew that she would not leave her sister to play alone.

He thought of another thing, "What did Guang's parents say about this matter?"

"Huh? Mom and Dad have nothing to say. They just asked me how much money I need."

"..."

What a big heart.

Naruse shook his head inwardly.

"Because I said I was worried about Yue." Hikaru Takigawa said with a smile.

It seems to have become the custom of the Takigawa family that the younger sister takes care of the older sister.

"Did Hikaru get the route for the third-grade school trip?" Naruse asked again.

"Well, here."

Hikaru Takigawa took out her sister's school trip schedule.

"On the first day we went to Kitano Tenmangu Shrine and Arashiyama, on the second day we went to Kiyomizudera Temple, Heian Shrine, Shinkyogoku and Ginkakuji Temple, and on the third day we went back after visiting Kyoto Tower..."

Naruse glanced at it a few times and said, "It seems to be no different from my trip to Kyoto for a study trip last year."

"Did Harumi go to Kyoto last year?"

"Yeah."

"Shangzi and I went to Hokkaido."

"I know."

"Huh?"

"Nothing..."

Naruse pointed to the contact number of the hotel at the bottom of the itinerary, "Where is this 'Huaquanfang' hotel?"

Takigawa Hikaru thought for a while, "It seems to be over there in Gion."

"Where is Gion... Shijo-dori Street? Then let's find a place to live nearby."

"Okay."

Naruse took out his mobile phone and searched for hotels near Gion. In the corner of his eye, Naoko was still staring at the schedule on the table.

After searching for a while, he put down his phone and asked, "How about this AKANE hotel?"

Hikaru Takigawa flipped through the pictures.

"It seems okay... Wow, the price is so expensive."

"The hotels over there are all at this price, not to mention this one is right on Shijo-dori, very close to Yasaka Shrine. Or should we go somewhere further away?"

"No..." Takigawa Hikari sighed painfully, "Just this one, it's not convenient even if it's far away."

"Then I'll make a reservation."

Naruse took back his phone and clicked on the screen a few times, "Two rooms..."

"Two rooms?"

He raised his head, and Naoko's eyes were fixed on Takigawa Hikaru's face.

"What if?"

However, Takigawa Hikari nodded as if he had accepted something, "Then let me share a room with Haixing."

"...Wait a moment."

Naruse couldn't accept it. He raised his hand and took a deep breath, "What starfish?"

Takigawa Hikaru tilted his head, not quite understanding what he meant.

"Is that the starfish?"

"The starfish from the Maki family is also going?"

"The Maki family...why do you say it so awkwardly? Yes, didn't I just say it?"

"You didn't mention a single word."

"Ah, I forgot."

Takigawa Hikaru smiled, "I met Haixing when I came back, and she happily agreed."

"...You go and apologize to Morimi."

"Um...ah, eh? Kazuye? Apologize? Why?"

Naruse didn't answer, rubbed both sides of his forehead, and asked after a while:

"Does Haixing know that I'm going too?"

Takigawa Hikaru nodded, "I know."

He was a little surprised.

Then I thought about it, maybe it was because they got along quite harmoniously or normally during the previous tutoring session, which made her temporarily put down her resistance.

Of course, it may be that her determination to go to Kyoto outweighs her resistance to him.

After a moment of silence, Naruse waved his hand, "Then let's discuss the room arrangements with Haixing."

"Okay."

While Takigawa Hikaru was sending a message to Haixing, Naruse opened another website and booked a Shinkansen ticket to Kyoto tomorrow morning.

"It takes more than five hours to get from Shin-Aomori to Kyoto by the fastest "Falcon"... and you have to change trains in Tokyo along the way."

What a torturous truancy.

"Haixing said he could share a room with me." Hikari Takigawa showed him the message records between the two of them.

Naruse read the content carefully and said, "That means I prefer to live alone. Let's book three rooms."

"Hey, is that so?"

"She just has such an awkward personality."

"It's better that Chunhai understands it more thoroughly."

Naruse pursed his lower lip and stared at the phone as if he didn't hear it.

I booked a room on the website and soon received a confirmation call from the hotel.

"Yes, I am Naruse...that's right, three rooms, three days and two nights."

The room was booked and the itinerary was basically decided. Hikari Takigawa didn't stay too long and was ready to go home.

Before leaving, she looked at Shangzi again, but the latter just smiled.

Naruse also went out, "I'll take you back and stop by the convenience store."

On the way back, Takigawa Hikaru was a little silent.

"Still thinking about Shangzi?"

"I still feel a bit regretful...During the day, Naoko seemed to be looking forward to going to Kyoto."

"Family is more important." Naruse didn't look at her, looking at the other side of the road, "That's what Naoko thinks."

Takigawa Hikari puffed her mouth, straightened her arms, and stretched herself towards the night sky.

"What should Harumi buy at the convenience store?"

"Buy a bottle of milk to help you sleep."

"Ah, let me buy a bottle of milk, too."

"Yeah."

"I didn't bring any money."

"...I'll treat you."
