Chapter 1929 Make an exception and call you

Gu Qi pressed her hand and signaled Michelle not to worry, "Don't worry, you can send him a message first, tell him what happened today, and then see how he responds."

Michelle nodded and immediately sent a message to Jason.

Just when Michelle was sending the message, the contact person seemed to suddenly think of something. He said angrily, "Damn it! Those damn bastards! They even dared to steal our things!"

"I want to say thank you first. It was you who rescued me."

"Also, I want to say sorry. I didn't complete the task Jason gave me. I..."

However, before he finished speaking, Hughes took out his pass from his pocket and waved it in front of him.

Looking at the extremely familiar pieces of paper in front of him, the man was stunned for a moment, and then his face was full of astonishment.

"this……"

Hughes smiled and said, "Okay, your mission has been completed. We will drop you off in the next town later. You can find a place to hide for a few days before going back."

As he spoke, Hughes threw a wad of bills to the man.

Holding the heavy banknotes in his hand, the man still looked confused.

At this time, Michelle had finished sending the message, but after waiting for a long time, she did not receive a reply from Jason.

Michelle clutched the phone tightly, obviously feeling a little nervous. After all, this was one of the people he trusted most in Fox Hunt. He really didn't want to believe that the person he trusted with his life would betray him.

"Boss... Jason hasn't replied yet. Maybe... they are on a mission..."

Gu Qi glanced at Michelle in the rearview mirror and signaled him to calm down, "It's okay, don't worry, we're going to the Celtic town soon. Let's drop him off first, then buy some gas and continue on the road."

Michelle nodded, "I've contacted the people in the black market, right next to the ruins two kilometers east of Celtic."

Gu Qi nodded and turned the steering wheel with her left hand. The jeep stirred up a puff of smoke and sped towards the Celtic town in the dark...

Finally, as a collapsed ruin appeared in front of them under the cold moonlight, Gu Qi stepped on the brakes and the jeep slowly stopped.

After a few people got out of the car, Michelle threw a thick coat to the contact person and said, "Find a place to hide first, and pay attention to safety."

The contact person nodded gratefully towards Gu Qi and the others, wrapped himself in a warm thick coat, and disappeared into the night...

It was almost late at night, and the surrounding temperature seemed to have dropped a lot. You could see that a thin layer of frost had formed on the roof of the jeep.

As Michelle made a phone call, there was a faint sound of rolling wooden wheels coming from the ruins.

Not long after, two dark-skinned locals came out of the ruins pushing a wooden cart with two huge oil drums on it.

After one of the people exchanged a few words with Michelle in extremely broken English, Michelle stepped forward and opened the lid of the oil drum and smelled it.

Then he nodded towards Gu Qi, indicating that the oil was fine.

Gu Qi nodded to indicate that it was time to refuel, so Qin Sheng and others picked up the oil barrels and started pouring gasoline into the jeep.

Just when the gasoline was about to be filled, Gu Qi, who was sitting in front of the vehicle, suddenly twitched her ears.

Then, she moved her gaze to the dark night behind her, where the stars were shining brightly.
