Master Kongchan returned to Jinguang Temple and was stunned when he entered the main hall:
I saw three eminent monks from Wutai Mountain who had entered under the Buddha statue a few days ago and suppressed the ghostly Buddha without a face. They were already sitting in the main hall, chanting sutras and worshiping the Buddha.
"Namo Amitabha."
"Buddha bless you, the three senior brothers finally returned safely."
"I wonder if I have encountered any danger during this trip."
"How is that ghost Buddha doing now?"
The three old monks with white beards and hair stopped chanting sutras and slowly opened their eyes.
"Namo Amitabha."
"Junior brother, I don't know what's hidden in it. Let the three of me tell you slowly."
It turns out that when three eminent monks from Mount Wutai entered the space under the Buddha statue, they did not see the hellish scene they imagined.
On the contrary, there is only one large-scale temple inside, which is full of incense.
There are all kinds of ghosts among them, which are countless.
But none of these ghosts have any aura of violence.
Their faces were peaceful, even smiling, and they sat neatly and quietly in the temple.
Listening to a young monk who looks to be only five or six years old, speaking and reading scriptures.
The little monk was born with pink and jade carvings, but sitting in front of the big Buddha, he looked solemn and precious.
He explained complex Buddhist principles in a simple and profound way.
Not only were a group of ghosts fascinated by it, but even three old monks from Mount Wutai were intoxicated without knowing it.
Once they heard this, they stayed there for three days and three nights.
It wasn't until the fourth day when the young monk kept silent that the three old monks woke up.
The little monk smiled and spoke to the ghosts.
"Namo Amitabha."
"That's the end of the lecture. If all the donors are willing to take refuge in my Buddha, you can come back in seven days."
Thousands of ghosts stood up and saluted.
"Namo Amitabha."
"I would like to express my gratitude to Master for his grace in enlightenment over thousands of years."
The ghosts kowtowed three times and bowed nine times before reluctantly leaving the temple.
After the ghosts dispersed, the young monk looked kindly and spoke to the three old monks from Mount Wutai.
"Namo Amitabha."
"The first priority is to worship the Buddha for salvation, but in the past few days, the young monk has neglected the three distinguished guests."
"I wonder why all the eminent monks from Mount Wutai are here?"
The three old monks didn't dare to neglect, so they hurriedly knelt down and saluted.
In that case, even if he met his teacher, it would be nothing more than that.
"Namo Amitabha."
"The three young monks took the liberty of visiting, but they disturbed the great monk's practice."
"It's just...just why is this place such a Buddhist scene?"
"Has the great monk ever seen a faceless ghost or Buddha?"
"Could it be...could it be that he has been suppressed by the great monk using Wushang Dharma?"
Hearing the words "Ghost Buddha has no face", the young monk looked thoughtful for a while.
After a long time, he looked confused.
"Namo Amitabha."
"This name is so familiar, but I can't remember where I heard it before."
"Since the poor monk woke up from his coma, he has been saving all the donors here."
"The ghost, Buddha, and faceless person you mentioned has never appeared."
The three old monks looked at each other, and a thought came to their minds at the same time:
With the soul of such a great and eminent monk here, I imagine that the ghost, Buddha, and faceless person has been saved by him without even knowing it.
The three old monks once again bowed to the young monk in front of them.
"Namo Amitabha."
"In this case, the young monk and others should retire first and not dare to disturb the great monk's teachings too much."
In this way, after the three old monks came out from under the Buddha statue, they have been meditating and comprehending in the main hall.
Digest the Buddhist principles and Dharma taught by the young monk these days.
Although Master Kong Chan has worshiped the Buddha all his life and has long been at peace, he was still shocked by what the three old monks said.
"Namo Amitabha."
"The poor monk has been practicing in Jinguang Temple for decades and has never heard of such a thing."
“Isn’t that legend true?!!”
"Or is there something hidden in it?"
The three old monks from Mount Wutai, regardless of the shock in Master Kongchan's heart, stood up and said goodbye to him.
"Now that Junior Brother Kongchan is back, the three poor monks will return to Mount Wutai."
"That... what that great monk said was really like an enlightenment."
"After I go back, I will have to stay in seclusion for several years to slowly understand it."
