Chapter 582 Yin Virtue, Yang Virtue, Merit, and Fortune

Qin Huali, who was still full of hope for Chen Daji, couldn't help but speak again.

"Young general, you and I are destined to be honored guests of Mo City."

"If you like any of my Mohist works, you can buy it back and play with it slowly."

When Chen Daji heard this, his face instantly fell.

"Uncle Qin, we came down here naked this time and didn't bring any money!"

"This iron suit was snatched from the dog just now..."

Seeing Chen Daji's "simple" look, Qin Huali couldn't help laughing.

"Little General, Mo City is different from ordinary people. Transactions here do not use real money and silver, but one's own moral character."

"The works of all Mohists (the name given to each other by members of the Mohist family) in my lineage can be divided into four levels: 'Heaven and Earth, Black and Yellow'."

"Under each level, there are four levels: A, B, C and D."

"As long as you have enough virtue, you can exchange it for anything below Earth Level A."

When they heard that Yin De was to be exchanged, everyone's expressions suddenly became heavy.

You must know that the most difficult thing to obtain in the world is yin virtue.

Not only is it difficult to obtain, but it is also extremely easy to lose!

It can be as small as telling lies, slandering, and sowing discord, or as serious as being unfilial to your loved ones, killing animals, setting fires, or destroying countries and cities. It’s just a question of how much!

When Chen Daji heard that he was going to exchange his evil virtues, his face even dropped.

But what he was thinking in his heart was different from others.

"Old man, we don't even have that Yin De thing!"

"It's not that I'm stingy. If you don't believe me, ask Master Ba. Many people say I'm wicked!"

Qin Huali: "......"

Chang Baye took this opportunity and quickly rolled Chen Daji back onto his back.

He didn't want the little naughty kid to exchange his precious virtue for a bunch of useless toys.

At the same time, the timid Changchong was afraid that his actions would offend the second-generation giant and attract resentment from others. Chang Baye did not forget to keep nodding and bowing to Qin Huali.

"My lord, this little brat is born wicked and cannot afford to buy anything from you. You don't have to be angry..."

Qin Huali is such a person, he just smiles when he sees this.

"Snake Lord, what you said is wrong!"

"What the young general lacks is only Yang virtue. As for Yin virtue, merit and wealth, he is rich in all kinds of virtues."

"Even compared with you, the King of Snakes, I'm still worse than you."

When Chang Baye saw that Qin Huali had seen through Chen Daji so clearly, his face immediately turned red.

He really felt sorry for the "little bastard", otherwise he would have been an honest and honest person...

Seeing this, Hua Jiunan smiled helplessly and spoke to ease Chang Baye's embarrassment.

"People have four virtues: yin, yang, merit, and blessing. A great plan and a heart are like uncut jade, and they are indispensable."

"It's just that I'm not good at creating momentum, so my virtues are not obvious."

When Chen Daji heard this, he glanced at Master Chang Ba quietly, and then murmured to himself.

"Damn it, it turns out we are not wicked..."

"Boss, what are you talking about about Yang De? When did we save up?!"

Qin Huali saw Chen Daji's innocent heart, and the more he watched it, the more he liked it.

He smiled and said:

Yin De means doing good deeds secretly without being known to others. Most of what people say about accumulating virtue and doing good deeds refers to Yin De.

Being kind to the lonely, caring for the widowed, respecting the elderly and pitying the poor, and doing good deeds and recommending virtuous people are all examples of accumulation of negative virtues.

Of course, Chen Daji and Zhao Fei's behavior of paying tuition and living expenses to poor students by cheating also counts.

"The Complete Book of Lu Zu" says:

"Those who do good deeds will surely enjoy blessings; those who accumulate evil deeds will have prosperous descendants."

Yang virtue corresponds to Yin virtue. Doing good deeds on the bright side, or doing good deeds is known to everyone, is called "Yang virtue";

Yang virtue may be somewhat utilitarian, while yin virtue means doing good deeds without expecting anything in return.

Obviously, people who "accumulate yin virtue" have a higher state.

Of course, people who "accumulate positive virtue" are also noble.

The two words "merit" can be understood separately:

Merit is good deeds, and virtue is good intentions.

Good intentions plus good deeds are merit.

"Tai Shang Induction Chapter" says:

"Three good deeds in one day will bring blessings from heaven in three years. Harmful people speak evil words, look upon evil, and do evil. If there are three evil deeds in one day, disaster will come from heaven in three years. You will do it without force."

Merit is an inner cultivation, just like we continuously acquire knowledge through learning.

When you have kind thoughts in your heart and put them into action, you will have merit.

It will not disappear, and the more merit you have, the greater the blessings will be.

Fu means blessing and virtue.

By accumulating yin virtues, yang virtues and meritorious deeds, you can gain merit.

"Those who desire heavenly immortals should do one thousand three hundred good deeds; those who desire earthly immortals should do three hundred good deeds."

For practitioners, the merit gained from doing good deeds can make them live forever.

The same goes for ordinary people:

If you do more good deeds, your body will be healthy, your mind will be peaceful, and you will become calm in dealing with things.

In short: As the saying goes, the predecessors planted trees for future generations to enjoy the shade, accumulated negative virtues and merits, and allowed their descendants to inherit the shade of their ancestors.

Except for Chen Daji, the others are all great practitioners, so naturally they have known these things for a long time.

For some unknown purpose, Fan Ju, the "big brother", finally added something profound to Chen Daji.

"Major General, there is another sentence you need to remember: if you have the intention to do good, you will not be rewarded even if it is good. If you do not have the intention to do evil, you will not be punished even if you are evil."
